Well, by sugar content alone, Rockstar has the highest sugar content out of the three, then Monster and then Red Bull. Monster also uses sucralose as an extra sweetener, making it even sweeter. But, we all have different tastes, and they are all fairly close, so theyre all pretty sweet. 👍
@CaffineMan yeah I haven’t really tried many energy drinks and I think that is because of Monster. The first time I tried original monster, I really didn’t like the after taste, which I now know is sucralose, and I thought that attribute was the same for all energy drinks and that’s why I always kind of shied away from them.
I know a lot of people love Monster and I don't have much bad to say about the Ultras. Im happy that they realized they had to expand out to sugar free energy drinks and they did a decent job with some of them. I mean, they are the 2nd ranked energy drink company, for good reason. I just prefer others.

Solid video. I understand your dislike about the business practices of Monster energy drinks. On the flip side, there are few flavors that I enjoy from Monster that simply are not found in our brands of energy drinks. The main one is the Ultra Sunrise drink that has a strong orange-like flavor. It is very easy to find a flavor and I tend to purchase it often. Other drinks are more of a hunting season for any certain flavor or brand. At times I don't have the time or energy to go around town search for various drinks. Your reviews and opinions are well taken and it is why I keep coming back to view your videos. Entertaining, informative, and unique formate to share all things caffeine. Perfect for these products. Robert Theodore Garcia, i completely agree with everything you say! I love monster for their product but their business practices I’m not very fond of. I love the monster rehab, java, and the juice line. I have not yet tried the ultra series but that is the next drink I’d like to try. Agreed! I said it in several of my other videos that energy drinks dont kill people. People kill people. In my How Much Caffeine is Too Much Caffeine video, I give numerous cases where people were hospitalized or even died from energy drinks, but it wasnt the energy drinks fault, it was the people who over consumed them. One of my favorite examples is when a drunk driver hits someone. Do they blame the beer company? No. Its the person. So why do the energy drinks get the blame for a persons poor judgement. its not right.
I used to drink monster, but i found it didnt have an effect on me. (i work night shifts). It just made me more tired in a way. I switched to reign, keeps me awake the whole night
In more than 95% of my videos, I try to use time stamps so people can go to whereever they want to go, in case there werent timestamps in this video. This was just one big long complaint. In general I will go over company info, ingredients and the taste test. I put timestamps in the description box and I have even started putting them into a pinned comment for those using mobile devices. I know. Monster reminds me of Mountain Dew in the fact that they release soooooo many new drinks, that they can't possibly keep them all on the shelves so some need to be discontinued. Unfortunately, even though they may sell a LOT of them, if its not the most popular flavor, they end up discontinuing it and make a LOT of people angry (or sad) about it.
They still produce it as 'Ripper', I don't think it's in US but plenty countries in Europe have this, it's the same flavor just less juice (they went from 80% to 50% then to 30% and it's now at 20%)
Drinking a monster while watching this - and man i love that battery acid type flavor. although I think monsters are super good tasting - I can see where you are coming from. I remember you mentioned in one of your videos you don't like a lot of carbonation, and monster has a ton of carbonation. And the battery acid type taste might be something a lot of people dislike. Great video! It always humors me when non energy drink consumers say redbull has more caffeine than monster or -insert drink here-, when redbull caffeine count is super low. Basically to every non energy drink consumer, redbull has the highest ammount of caffeine ever.
Oh yeah, high carbonation and usually high sugar. BUT they do have a lot of drinks and the more that Ive tried since Ive had my channel, the more Ive found that have been pretty good. As for caffeine, both companies usually have the standard energy drink amount of 10mgs per ounce. The Monster is a 16oz can at 160mgs. The mini 8oz red bull is 80 mgs and their 16oz red bull is 160.
Honestly all your points are valid. I still personally like Monster because I love sweet drinks, and also because in my country (Poland) not many big brands are availible. Red Bull is half the size for a higher price, and in Poland where there's a strong mentality of getting the most value for your money, it's simply better to get 2 times the size for a lower price while still getting a known brand. Obviously there are local brand cheap energy drinks here, but most of them taste bad and even if you find a good taste, it usually feels watered down, as if it was half the intended drink and half water to save the price. We used to have Rockstar which I liked very much, but for some reason I can't find it anywhere these days. For all these reasons, Monster is the go-to international energy drink brand in Poland. We also have 2 fairly big local brands - Tiger and Black. Some of them are good, but some flavors suffer from the problems that I mentioned earlier. I wish we had more choice, maybe one day other brands will expand enough to reach Poland.
Well, Monster is the 2nd largest energy drink company for a reason. Millions of people love it and they make a billion dollars selling it, so it definitely has to be good. Ive even done some additional reviews after this video where I have been finding more Monsters that I actually like.
I absolutely love this video. My mom and dad are always complaining when I have an energy drink ( even though I’m 29 and don’t live with them lol) and it gets old. They blame the energy drink instead of the people over consuming and I love the drunk driver/ Budweiser analogy. 👌

The reason why I dislike Monster now is because they changed the formula and also because Monster has so much sugar, plus they use to much preservatives to make their energy drinks last long. I'd rather have Guayaki than Monster or Runa Guayusa.
Yeah, they like their sugar. And Preservatives are a necessary evil, so a lot of people have to use them. Nothing wrong with some healthy Yerba Mate though!

The classic Monster taste is pretty good, but for some reason it's even better in their Absolutely Zero version of the drink. It's the same taste - or even better - without the sugar. Definitely my favorite energy drink but I'm not sure they make it anymore.
I think Ive seen it recently? If it came off the market they may have been doing it to repackage it maybe? They're been redoing the packaging/graphics on a lot of their drinks lately.

I've recently started trying out monster drinks, especially their juiced flavours like mango loco, pipeline and nitro superdry, they're really nice. Welcome to the channel!!! I hope you enjoy all that my channel has to offer!!! To answer your question I first have to preface it with "im not a doctor', lol... but its true, Im not. Its really a matter of how your body reacts to sugar. I started having less and less sugar in my drinks about 3 years ago just because I wanted to be healthier. There are some people that can burn off sugar faster and others who don't. Its a matter of how sedentary you are. Even some people that are very active like to have zero sugar energy drinks. Do I, personally, think 1 or 2 cans of sugared energy drinks are ok? I do... although I do recommend looking into some of their Ultra flavors or even other companies like Ghost, GOrilla Mind, C4 and lots of other companies that are sugar-free. Currently, there are more sugar-free energy drinks on the market than sugared. That being said, there are some people that just hate the taste of sugar-free drinks and that is perfectly fine. 1 or 2 a week shouldn't break the bank. I mean, look at how many people drink soda and those are heavy in sugar, and should be drank sparingly as well. Hope it helps.

Yeah, I mentioned my dad only drinks one monster flavor which is the ultra white, but since this quarantine is making me bored and I'm taste testing everything by drinking 1 drink a day, so far in Monster, ive had all the ultras (excluding black, red, and blue) all the hydros (excluding mean green, manic melon, purple passion, and blue ice) and just today the original that started it all.
A main issue I have with many Monsters (the OG as an example) is that i hate the taste of the apple juice they have. A common suggestion to people that don’t like the “Monster” taste is to not get one with Apple juice in it. Also you’re right. I love the Aussie Lemonade one but the sugar amount (46g to be exact) makes it a hard sell for me to consume often. I often choose the Rehab ones instead, and I avoid almost every one that uses the apple juice.
@@reinab8168 Im not sure actually. I never bought it, just heard about it from all my UK viewers who just recently got it within the past few months. Im certain there are third party vendors than may sell it, but it tends to be expensive per can, as well as expensive to ship from overseas.
Monster Ultras are a sure favourite of mine. I find that so many energy drinks have the same sour and strange aftertaste. I've yet to try a wider selection of other energy drinks though, so I''ll be sure to check some out!

Bang actually makes several of the energy shots and its on my list to review. Energy shots havent really performed well on my channel so Ive been holding off while I try to make a dent in these energy drink requests...as well as the occasional product and informative video. From what Ive seen at Vitamin shope they have it in Bangster BErry, Rainbow Unicorn, PEach and Purple Haze. Im sure other places have different ones. Tier List of all the drinks is on my to-do list, but Im going to wait until Ive had a few more on my request list that I havent tried yet so that I have an accurate representation.
@@romanm90 It started off as an imaginary short list in my head....but people just kept requesting stuff, so I had to make an actual written list on a post-it note.... Then, people kept requesting before I could make the video, I had to start a list on my computer....so, yeah, I have a list!!! I dont necessarily ask for requests, like a DJ or something. People just make requests. Sometimes people DEMAND requests and those usually dont happen, but the nice ones get put on the list. I don't discuss the details of the list though, because sometimes the list gets shifted around a touch here and there. But, I do make sure I try to get to everything on this list. I think, the longest anyone has waited has been 12 weeks...and thats just because I can only do 1 video a week. Currently on my request list, there are 21 energy drinks. And thats just the request list. I have my own personal list of 5 energy drinks, plus the several caffeinated Products and Informative videos I need to do.... so, guess what....? Im not going anywhere. You should hang around and see what I got to offer. LOL!!!
mike roberts, I’m a huge fan of another drink called Peace Tea. They have a Georgia peach flavor and it sooooo good, the peach rehab kinda reminds of the flavor. ( not just because it’s peach flavored)

I'd agree with how they gave energy drinks a bad name. My mom and grandmother won't stop brining it up. I'll prove to them that energy drinks have similar caffeine content than a large McDonald's coffee. Actually less than a McDonald's coffee. It gets so annoying.

It's definitely not a good reason and nothing I can overly defend. Everyone copies everyone. Its just how it is. If someone comes out with a good popular flavor, everyone is to follow suit. It happens.
Its all the subliminal messages I put in it. Trying my best to convert all the Monster lovers. 😂 Some of the things are easily agreeable and some of the points are very weak...but overall, I think I got my point across and Ive done tons of reviews on them since this video.... and actually found some I like!!! 😱😱😱
The only products I’ve had from Monster are their Zero Ultra, Reserve, Rehab, Super Dry, and Low Carb drinks. The only one I haven’t tried is the original one.
I get your point regarding the beer-drink driving comparison. Journalists/politicians hit the energy drink companies because - Energy drinks are relatively new, when you consider alcohol has been around for hundreds of years - Often its 13-25 year old drinking energy drinks. Their concern for the "impressionable" is virtue signalling at its finest - Alcohol spans all classes, whereas energy drinks more likely to be consumed by lower-working class people compared to middle-higher class people. Journalists/politicians and older people in general are so far removed from energy drinks they simply hate their foreignness and unfamiliarity. Its a great shame for all of us who consume responsibly as part of a balanced diet/exercise - having to accept the stigma of people looking down on our hobbies!
I can agree with a lot of what you said, although I do debate a little bit on what classes drink them. There are plenty of business people and middle class people that use them to get them through work. There are lots of blue collar workers that use them, as well as (to some people surprise) the medical community. Doctors and Nurses work long hours and use these drinks. They are educated and know which ones are good for you and which ones are bad for you. Also, people that workout (being sterotypical here, not ALL workout people) pay to go to the gym and usually buy expensive foods (organic) as well as supplements to help build their body. Those are all costs that not all lower working class people can afford. Just generalizing though. So, Im fairly confident class isnt the issue.... but age certainly is. And luckily enough we are jumping on the healthier energy drink bandwagon now to help people change their minds. If people continue to share my videos and get the word out on CaffeineMan, we can change the opinions of thousands! Millions!!! Ok, caffeine kicking in. More comments to respond too. I stay away from energy drinks since it is loaded with sugar and caffeine. The excess sugar will also result in a sugar crash which is not fun at all. A nice cup of coffee is all that i need to get an energy boost.
There are actually more energy drinks onthe market now that are sugar-free than there are sugared one. A lot of companies are realizing a lot of people don't like sugar. The preworkout community has had a big push in the energy drink industry in pushing for sugar-free and adding healthy ingredients. A lot of great healthy sugar free energy drinks out there now... ...but I can understand if you just use coffee. Plenty of people do!!!

Sure they aren't the healthiest things in the world, but when you look at all these sodas, and super sugary fruit juices, some of these 0 sugar and 5 cal energy drinks are lokwey better for you. They even have some good vitamins and some even help metabolism (celsius) and that drunk driver analogy was perfect. I don't care for monster cus of the sugar content, too many options and confusing lines, and just a can size that is very unconventional. Even tho they taste good. So im right there w you.

It's not monsters fault that people od on it, don't be stupid, be smart, all energy drinks are "bad" if you drink enough. I've been drinking monster for a while but I tried a bang and it was good ngl but i had chest pains that night so it scared me so I stick with monster, I mainly drink the mango juice, the white monster( don't know the name) and any of the coffees.
I don't care much for regular monster's flavor. However, I do like the orange Sunrise and the Rehab teas. Rehab tea actually helps me when I have a medium hangover from alcoholic drinks.
Have you tried V8 energy. Cheaper than most no of energy drinks. I work night shift. I use energy drinks help speed in production and stay alert. Found Monster gives a reverse effect and stopped with Reign. Energy then a crash. Spider orange was good but they took it off market. I have drank energy drinks for years since I work night shift. Oh shite, it's going down! Edit: When I was 13 or so I started out with Monster being my favorite but as I got older the taste was just too much. And no other drink actually hasn't been appealing to my taste buds besides the original green and blue. I moved up to Rock star being the fave, and then Red bull and now Red line/Bang.

Monster makes me feel great at work or on a trip. Red bull or 5 hour make me feel like a hobo being dragged down the street behind a 1999 Honda accord with only 1 cylinder firing, while a midget throws rocks at me from the backseat
I drank nothing but monster for years mainly because of the amount you get for the price but I recently switched to Red Bull and I don’t even wanna go back. I’ve had every flavor of just about Every energy drink common in most stores and honestly I don’t like them. Those bangs and other shit taste good but I’m drinking these in the morning mostly so why would I wanna drink candy water lol.
Thank you for pointing out these facts. Energy drinks are not the blame, human overconsumption and cheap ingredients are the blame. Monsters low price point comes at a cost.

Unfortunately, the media and general public find it easier to just blame the drinks and must have some secret conspiracy to try and take them out of business or just make us feel bad about drinking them. But, if you are educated on the topic, you'll always be the one making them look dumb. As soon as someone says "Energy drinks are bad for you..." I get goosebumps and take a deep breath and ask "why?" to see what comes out of their mouth....and then take them to school.
I like Monster because of the designs and the size. I love enjoy a half liter can instead of the 250ml of Redbull (and here in italy there aren't Rockstars or other half liter energy cans). But I hate that they use to sell a lot of different designs cans with the same flavour, saying that they are all different each other...
respect the difference of opinion, and strongly agree about the undeserved bad reputation energy drinks receive due to unwise consumption on the part of some individuals. energy drinks aren't dangerous if you use them responsibly! that being said, my go-to energy drink is monstery zero ultra in the white can. i really love it, honestly

Some people try to point out that disliking them because other people made stupid mistakes isn't a solid arguement, but I let them know that i agree with them and mention it in the video as well. If you are looking for a cranberry energy drink, a company called Epuri makes a very solid cranberry energy drink. I did a review on it. It is really true to its cranberry flavor. Good luck!
The ones with sugar, yes. The Ultras dont have much, if any, since its usually the sugar that causes crash. A small percentage of people get crash from caffeine, but in most cases sugar is the culprit.
I really like the Monster Rehab tea lemonade (this one is pretty intense in flavor, almost like Nestea, but get a big 32 oz cup and throw one in with a ton of ice, water, and a fresh lemon wedge or even half a seedless lemon LOL, and it's GREAT)... As for the white dragon, I immediately noticed the taste of mangosteen - which was a pleasant surprise - but I have to be in the mood for it. But as for new[er than this video] flavors, Monster has given me LIFE, with the best energy drink I've ever had: the Rehab Strawberry Lemonade. This drink is dank and pretty damn flawless, for an energy drink with only 3 grams of sugar per can. It tastes exactly like the strawberry lemonade at Del Taco. My friend and I blend these with ice at work to make a killer slush. And the Gold (pineapple) is pretty dang good, too: I'm just not crazy about the carbonation level. Otherwise, I don't really drink sugar-filled energy drinks, so Monster isn't my thing. I can drink the zero sugar blue and the orange, from time to time... But that strawberry lemonade is DANK and still relatively hard to find, sadly!
Yeah, the strawberry lemonade is still fairly new so it hasnt even reached all the stores yet, which is crazy. And although this video was about how much I dislike Monster, I have been finding more stuff that I like.

Yeah, Mountain Dew will d that too you, but as you get older, just keep an eye on that sugar intake. Heck, take a look at it now. The research online is eye opening. American heart association recommends no more than 35grams a day, yet the average american has more than 75grams a day. And thats just the average american.

Oh, no, they definitely are not wrong for copying Rockstar. When it comes down to it, everyone copies from everyone. Whatever the next trend is, whether it's a movie genre, books, music style, energy drinks, following trends (copying) is extremely common. My problem is when they try to sue the mom and pop 'Monstrous Lawn and Gardening Company" because they think they own the word "Monster" and every formation of the word Monster. Problem is the smaller companies can't afford all of the litigation and countersuits versus the 12 lawyers Monster regularly has on retainer. Luckily enough, over the past couple of years, their lawyers have been tied up with Bang lawyers as they constantly throw lawsuits back and forth at each other. Im uncertain if they still sell them. I got that over a year and a half ago from an energy box subscription company that went out of business. They had a tendency to put in unique drinks you couldnt normally get.
I wouldn't say you are weird. We all have different taste buds and pick up on different things. I liked the Ultra watermelon because I thought it was a sweet watermelon, but several other people said they tasted sour.

You can't really go by cans, as all of the cans have different caffeine amounts. According to the Mayo Clinic and many other medical websites, halthy adults over 18 years old should not consume any more than 400mgs per day. Well, by sugar content alone, Rockstar has the highest sugar content out of the three, then Monster and then Red Bull. Monster also uses sucralose as an extra sweetener, making it even sweeter. But, we all have different tastes, and they are all fairly close, so theyre all pretty sweet. 👍
@CaffineMan yeah I haven’t really tried many energy drinks and I think that is because of Monster. The first time I tried original monster, I really didn’t like the after taste, which I now know is sucralose, and I thought that attribute was the same for all energy drinks and that’s why I always kind of shied away from them.

I know a lot of people love Monster and I don't have much bad to say about the Ultras. Im happy that they realized they had to expand out to sugar free energy drinks and they did a decent job with some of them. I mean, they are the 2nd ranked energy drink company, for good reason. I just prefer others.

Solid video. I understand your dislike about the business practices of Monster energy drinks. On the flip side, there are few flavors that I enjoy from Monster that simply are not found in our brands of energy drinks. The main one is the Ultra Sunrise drink that has a strong orange-like flavor. It is very easy to find a flavor and I tend to purchase it often. Other drinks are more of a hunting season for any certain flavor or brand. At times I don't have the time or energy to go around town search for various drinks. I love the monster rehab, java, and the juice line. I have not yet tried the ultra series but that is the next drink I’d like to try. Agreed! I said it in several of my other videos that energy drinks dont kill people. People kill people. In my How Much Caffeine is Too Much Caffeine video, I give numerous cases where people were hospitalized or even died from energy drinks, but it wasnt the energy drinks fault, it was the people who over consumed them. One of my favorite examples is when a drunk driver hits someone. Do they blame the beer company? No. Its the person. So why do the energy drinks get the blame for a persons poor judgement. its not right.

In more than 95% of my videos, I try to use time stamps so people can go to whereever they want to go, in case there werent timestamps in this video. This was just one big long complaint. In general I will go over company info, ingredients and the taste test. I put timestamps in the description box and I have even started putting them into a pinned comment for those using mobile devices. I know. Monster reminds me of Mountain Dew in the fact that they release soooooo many new drinks, that they can't possibly keep them all on the shelves so some need to be discontinued. Unfortunately, even though they may sell a LOT of them, if its not the most popular flavor, they end up discontinuing it and make a LOT of people angry (or sad) about it.
They still produce it as 'Ripper', I don't think it's in US but plenty countries in Europe have this, it's the same flavor just less juice (they went from 80% to 50% then to 30% and it's now at 20%)

although I think monsters are super good tasting - I can see where you are coming from. I remember you mentioned in one of your videos you don't like a lot of carbonation, and monster has a ton of carbonation. And the battery acid type taste might be something a lot of people dislike. Great video!
It always humors me when non energy drink consumers say redbull has more caffeine than monster or -insert drink here-, when redbull caffeine count is super low. Basically to every non energy drink consumer, redbull has the highest ammount of caffeine ever.
Oh yeah, high carbonation and usually high sugar. BUT they do have a lot of drinks and the more that Ive tried since Ive had my channel, the more Ive found that have been pretty good. As for caffeine, both companies usually have the standard energy drink amount of 10mgs per ounce. The Monster is a 16oz can at 160mgs. The mini 8oz red bull is 80 mgs and their 16oz red bull is 160.
Honestly all your points are valid. I still personally like Monster because I love sweet drinks, and also because in my country (Poland) not many big brands are availible. Red Bull is half the size for a higher price, and in Poland where there's a strong mentality of getting the most value for your money, it's simply better to get 2 times the size for a lower price while still getting a known brand. Obviously there are local brand cheap energy drinks here, but most of them taste bad and even if you find a good taste, it usually feels watered down, as if it was half the intended drink and half water to save the price. We used to have Rockstar which I liked very much, but for some reason I can't find it anywhere these days. For all these reasons, Monster is the go-to international energy drink brand in Poland. We also have 2 fairly big local brands - Tiger and Black. Some of them are good, but some flavors suffer from the problems that I mentioned earlier. I wish we had more choice, maybe one day other brands will expand enough to reach Poland.
Well, Monster is the 2nd largest energy drink company for a reason. Millions of people love it and they make a billion dollars selling it, so it definitely has to be good. Ive even done some additional reviews after this video where I have been finding more Monsters that I actually like.
I am addicted to Monster. I cannot avoid drinking it every morning and it seems to create pain in my joints, yet I cannot stop.
I absolutely love this video. My mom and dad are always complaining when I have an energy drink ( even though I’m 29 and don’t live with them lol) and it gets old. They blame the energy drink instead of the people over consuming and I love the drunk driver/ Budweiser analogy. 👌

The reason why I dislike Monster now is because they changed the formula and also because Monster has so much sugar, plus they use to much preservatives to make their energy drinks last long. I'd rather have Guayaki than Monster or Runa Guayusa.
Yeah, they like their sugar. And Preservatives are a necessary evil, so a lot of people have to use them. Nothing wrong with some healthy Yerba Mate though!

The classic Monster taste is pretty good, but for some reason it's even better in their Absolutely Zero version of the drink. It's the same taste - or even better - without the sugar. Definitely my favorite energy drink but I'm not sure they make it anymore.
I think Ive seen it recently? If it came off the market they may have been doing it to repackage it maybe? They're been redoing the packaging/graphics on a lot of their drinks lately.

To answer your question I first have to preface it with "im not a doctor', lol... but its true, Im not. Its really a matter of how your body reacts to sugar. I started having less and less sugar in my drinks about 3 years ago just because I wanted to be healthier. There are some people that can burn off sugar faster and others who don't. Its a matter of how sedentary you are. Even some people that are very active like to have zero sugar energy drinks. Do I, personally, think 1 or 2 cans of sugared energy drinks are ok? I do... although I do recommend looking into some of their Ultra flavors or even other companies like Ghost, GOrilla Mind, C4 and lots of other companies that are sugar-free. Currently, there are more sugar-free energy drinks on the market than sugared. That being said, there are some people that just hate the taste of sugar-free drinks and that is perfectly fine. 1 or 2 a week shouldn't break the bank. I mean, look at how many people drink soda and those are heavy in sugar, and should be drank sparingly as well. Hope it helps.

Yeah, I mentioned my dad only drinks one monster flavor which is the ultra white, but since this quarantine is making me bored and I'm taste testing everything by drinking 1 drink a day, so far in Monster, ive had all the ultras (excluding black, red, and blue) all the hydros (excluding mean green, manic melon, purple passion, and blue ice) and just today the original that started it all.
Sounds like an interested way to test them all out! Gotta get that Manic Melon Hydro though! LOL
A main issue I have with many Monsters (the OG as an example) is that i hate the taste of the apple juice they have. A common suggestion to people that don’t like the “Monster” taste is to not get one with Apple juice in it.
Also you’re right. I love the Aussie Lemonade one but the sugar amount (46g to be exact) makes it a hard sell for me to consume often. I often choose the Rehab ones instead, and I avoid almost every one that uses the apple juice.

Monster mule is a unique flavor but other than that I do not prefer monster.
I liked the monster Mule except for all the sugar. Non-US versions of the Mule have less sugar, so Im not sure why they put so much in ours.

@@reinab8168 Im not sure actually. I never bought it, just heard about it from all my UK viewers who just recently got it within the past few months. Im certain there are third party vendors than may sell it, but it tends to be expensive per can, as well as expensive to ship from overseas.
Monster Ultras are a sure favourite of mine. I find that so many energy drinks have the same sour and strange aftertaste. I've yet to try a wider selection of other energy drinks though, so I''ll be sure to check some out!

Bang actually makes several of the energy shots and its on my list to review. Energy shots havent really performed well on my channel so Ive been holding off while I try to make a dent in these energy drink requests...as well as the occasional product and informative video. From what Ive seen at Vitamin shope they have it in Bangster BErry, Rainbow Unicorn, PEach and Purple Haze. Im sure other places have different ones. Then, people kept requesting before I could make the video, I had to start a list on my computer....so, yeah, I have a list!!! I dont necessarily ask for requests, like a DJ or something. People just make requests. Sometimes people DEMAND requests and those usually dont happen, but the nice ones get put on the list. I don't discuss the details of the list though, because sometimes the list gets shifted around a touch here and there. But, I do make sure I try to get to everything on this list. I think, the longest anyone has waited has been 12 weeks...and thats just because I can only do 1 video a week. Currently on my request list, there are 21 energy drinks. And thats just the request list. I have my own personal list of 5 energy drinks, plus the several caffeinated Products and Informative videos I need to do.... so, guess what....?

I'd agree with how they gave energy drinks a bad name. My mom and grandmother won't stop brining it up. I'll prove to them that energy drinks have similar caffeine content than a large McDonald's coffee. Actually less than a McDonald's coffee. It gets so annoying.

Journalists/politicians hit the energy drink companies because
- Energy drinks are relatively new, when you consider alcohol has been around for hundreds of years
- Often its 13-25 year old drinking energy drinks. Their concern for the "impressionable" is virtue signalling at its finest
- Alcohol spans all classes, whereas energy drinks more likely to be consumed by lower-working class people compared to middle-higher class people. Journalists/politicians and older people in general are so far removed from energy drinks they simply hate their foreignness and unfamiliarity.
Its a great shame for all of us who consume responsibly as part of a balanced diet/exercise - having to accept the stigma of people looking down on our hobbies!
I can agree with a lot of what you said, although I do debate a little bit on what classes drink them. There are plenty of business people and middle class people that use them to get them through work. There are lots of blue collar workers that use them, as well as (to some people surprise) the medical community. Doctors and Nurses work long hours and use these drinks. They are educated and know which ones are good for you and which ones are bad for you. Also, people that workout (being sterotypical here, not ALL workout people) pay to go to the gym and usually buy expensive foods (organic) as well as supplements to help build their body. Those are all costs that not all lower working class people can afford. Just generalizing though. So, Im fairly confident class isnt the issue.... but age certainly is. And luckily enough we are jumping on the healthier energy drink bandwagon now to help people change their minds. If people continue to share my videos and get the word out on CaffeineMan, we can change the opinions of thousands! Millions!!! Ok, caffeine kicking in. More comments to respond too. I stay away from energy drinks since it is loaded with sugar and caffeine. The excess sugar will also result in a sugar crash which is not fun at all. A nice cup of coffee is all that i need to get an energy boost.
There are actually more energy drinks onthe market now that are sugar-free than there are sugared one. A lot of companies are realizing a lot of people don't like sugar. The preworkout community has had a big push in the energy drink industry in pushing for sugar-free and adding healthy ingredients. A lot of great healthy sugar free energy drinks out there now...
...but I can understand if you just use coffee. Plenty of people do!!!

It's not monsters fault that people od on it, don't be stupid, be smart, all energy drinks are "bad" if you drink enough. I've been drinking monster for a while but I tried a bang and it was good ngl but i had chest pains that night so it scared me so I stick with monster, I mainly drink the mango juice, the white monster( don't know the name) and any of the coffees.

I don't care much for regular monster's flavor. However, I do like the orange Sunrise and the Rehab teas. Rehab tea actually helps me when I have a medium hangover from alcoholic drinks.
I like some of the newer rehab teas and need to review more of them. The antioxidants probably help with the hangover.

Have you tried V8 energy. Cheaper than most no of energy drinks. I work night shift. I use energy drinks help speed in production and stay alert. Found Monster gives a reverse effect and stopped with Reign. Energy then a crash. Spider orange was good but they took it off market. I have drank energy drinks for years since I work night shift. Thanks for letting us know mabout other energy drinks.

Oh shite, it's going down! Edit: When I was 13 or so I started out with Monster being my favorite but as I got older the taste was just too much. And no other drink actually hasn't been appealing to my taste buds besides the original green and blue. I moved up to Rock star being the fave, and then Red bull and now Red line/Bang.

Monster makes me feel great at work or on a trip. Red bull or 5 hour make me feel like a hobo being dragged down the street behind a 1999 Honda accord with only 1 cylinder firing, while a midget throws rocks at me from the backseat

I drank nothing but monster for years mainly because of the amount you get for the price but I recently switched to Red Bull and I don’t even wanna go back. I’ve had every flavor of just about Every energy drink common in most stores and honestly I don’t like them. Those bangs and other shit taste good but I’m drinking these in the morning mostly so why would I wanna drink candy water lol.

Unfortunately, the media and general public find it easier to just blame the drinks and must have some secret conspiracy to try and take them out of business or just make us feel bad about drinking them. But, if you are educated on the topic, you'll always be the one making them look dumb. As soon as someone says "Energy drinks are bad for you..." I get goosebumps and take a deep breath and ask "why?" to see what comes out of their mouth....and then take them to school.

I like Monster because of the designs and the size. I love enjoy a half liter can instead of the 250ml of Redbull (and here in italy there aren't Rockstars or other half liter energy cans). But I hate that they use to sell a lot of different designs cans with the same flavour, saying that they are all different each other...
Hopefully you'll have some additional flavors soon too. Monster is supposed to be expanding their international energy drink lines this year as well.

Some people try to point out that disliking them because other people made stupid mistakes isn't a solid arguement, but I let them know that i agree with them and mention it in the video as well. The ones with sugar, yes. The Ultras dont have much, if any, since its usually the sugar that causes crash. A small percentage of people get crash from caffeine, but in most cases sugar is the culprit.

I really like the Monster Rehab tea lemonade (this one is pretty intense in flavor, almost like Nestea, but get a big 32 oz cup and throw one in with a ton of ice, water, and a fresh lemon wedge or even half a seedless lemon LOL, and it's GREAT)... As for the white dragon, I immediately noticed the taste of mangosteen - which was a pleasant surprise - but I have to be in the mood for it.
But as for new[er than this video] flavors, Monster has given me LIFE, with the best energy drink I've ever had: the Rehab Strawberry Lemonade. This drink is dank and pretty damn flawless, for an energy drink with only 3 grams of sugar per can. It tastes exactly like the strawberry lemonade at Del Taco. My friend and I blend these with ice at work to make a killer slush. And the Gold (pineapple) is pretty dang good, too: I'm just not crazy about the carbonation level. Otherwise, I don't really drink sugar-filled energy drinks, so Monster isn't my thing. I can drink the zero sugar blue and the orange, from time to time... But that strawberry lemonade is DANK and still relatively hard to find, sadly!
Yeah, the strawberry lemonade is still fairly new so it hasnt even reached all the stores yet, which is crazy. And although this video was about how much I dislike Monster, I have been finding more stuff that I like.

Oh yeah, Monster is the rated the 2nd ranked energy drink company...its not because they dont have good products. I just prefer different ones. Sweet tooth aye? Yeah, Mountain Dew will d that too you, but as you get older, just keep an eye on that sugar intake. Heck, take a look at it now. The research online is eye opening. American heart association recommends no more than 35grams a day, yet the average american has more than 75grams a day. And thats just the average american.
My favourite energy drink from monster is mango loco, that’s my drink. A couple a week is my limit.
If I drank sugary energy drinks, that one would be one of my top choices! Great drink!

Oh, no, they definitely are not wrong for copying Rockstar. When it comes down to it, everyone copies from everyone. Whatever the next trend is, whether it's a movie genre, books, music style, energy drinks, following trends (copying) is extremely common.
My problem is when they try to sue the mom and pop 'Monstrous Lawn and Gardening Company" because they think they own the word "Monster" and every formation of the word Monster. Problem is the smaller companies can't afford all of the litigation and countersuits versus the 12 lawyers Monster regularly has on retainer. Luckily enough, over the past couple of years, their lawyers have been tied up with Bang lawyers as they constantly throw lawsuits back and forth at each other. Now, when it comes to THOSE two companies, you see see all the copying and lawsuits! 😂😂😂

Im uncertain if they still sell them. I got that over a year and a half ago from an energy box subscription company that went out of business. They had a tendency to put in unique drinks you couldnt normally get.

I wouldn't say you are weird. We all have different taste buds and pick up on different things. I liked the Ultra watermelon because I thought it was a sweet watermelon, but several other people said they tasted sour.

You can't really go by cans, as all of the cans have different caffeine amounts. According to the Mayo Clinic and many other medical websites, halthy adults over 18 years old should not consume any more than 400mgs per day.
