this is why i don't like operating systems for PC and Laptop (x86). you can find and somehow easily delete relevant files for a working machine. compared to android (mostly ARM) you can't easily delete files from an android smartphone, because they are hidden, you have to unlock the bootloader first and install a recovery.

I believe that running Windows in VMWare is what destroyed it. Ironically, running it on baremetal is safer because Hyper-V is designed to protect the windows kernel.
