@@EzTechJoe yes. I have a video on that. Haha The m18 over time will loosen up and have a “wiggle” For the people that say they’re 18V’s don’t do that it’s only because they don’t use them enough, plain and simple. I’ve seen a lot of people talk about the M2 batteries breaking and they will literally just fall out of the tool. Mine haven’t done that yet, but I almost always use my 1 V stuff compared to my 12V so mine haven’t had that issue yet.
@EzTechJoe the snap on every 6 months would stop working , it was under warranty. But my dealer did not want to take care of it. Then I bought Milwaukee. Milwaukee rachet worked for a year . Sent the rachet for warranty. Came back. First use rachet explodes, lol. So I was done with those two. That's been my experience with cordless rachets .
I am trying to decide between the dc923 vs the 921. I am looking to use it on car lug nuts and passenger car bolts. would you recommend the 3/8 or 1/2 anvil? @@EzTechJoe
@landslide03 If you want to using on things specifically in lugnuts I would say get the 921 .. only because the 1/2 anvil allows you to use bigger sized sockets like the 22mm or higher for lugnuts. Can't really go wrong with that.
At this point, I like my DCF500 and 510 way better than the older models. They are made for dedicated mechanics for sure. Their first models were still a good first try nonetheless. Like you said if you have a good Mac dealer, he'll let you try it out first
Mac tools and dewalt are owned buy the same company. They are literally about the sake price in store or on the truck. The truck comes with service and other benefits. I'd rather spend that money supporting my local tool truck guy than at home depot. It's not a "store brand". Ridgid, hercules, Bauer.. for an example are considered store brands because you can only buy them at the selective store and not anywhere else
I was completely unaware that Dewalt made electric ratchets. Good video man. That ratchet looks pretty sick.
Thanks bro! A lot of people don't know much about them. They are underrated
@@EzTechJoe I’m a big Milwaukee guy, but I hate their ratchets because of the trigger design. But I like how these look
@@JSTruckRepair one reason I didn't go Milwaukee and because I've seen so many battery clip complaints that break off with other people

I have the 1/4 I use it daily for removing body panels on vehicles. It never lets me down. I had the Milwaukee and snap on but they did not hold up.
Oh yeah. What happened to the Milwaukee and snap on? Asking for myself

That DCF 923 is a beast isn't it? And so tiny at the same time. Way more widely useable than the Milwaukee stubby.
Yeah it's my Go-To!

Yeah can't wait to get the dcf500 and try it out. I like this because of the long reach
Super Ratchet. I am to get one. Very Informative video.
Use regular 12v batteries. Dont need the rubber coated ones alot bulkier and regular batteries will hold up. Plus they are pretty cheap
Ayeoooo don’t ever disrespect snap on like that the head is not that big 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Why do you guys buy store brand tools off the truck?
