If only the guys that walked with Him on the road to Emmaus had a tape recorder when Jesus began His sermon concerning the things that was written about Him.....what a history lesson that would have been!!
They did it's called scrolls, no batteries needed.
Okay, this was the time Jesus explained the mystery of psalm 22 and isiah 53.
Much of what Jesus taught concerning himself is expounded on in Scripture. The Old Testament points to Jesus in every way, starting with the promise of a Savior to Adam and Eve. You can find out how!
That's why we have the Holy Spirit. He can tell us the very same things that He told them.

Aren't Christians God's people? What's with the cognitive dissonance. Those who explicitly reject Christ cannot be God's people. That's like the most fundamental aspect of Christianity. They are still people, so you can pray for them, but they haven't been God's people for 2000 years.

I bet those chief priests of the Jewish religious hierarchy were trembling in fear upon hearing of Jesus Christ's resurrection. Hard to believe that they would try to deny his resurrection by bribing the Roman guards who were guarding His tomb.
