Jesus is not God, he is the son of God, God has said No one has ever seen him nor will they ever, people have a missconception that Jesus is God in the flesh, but it makes sense he is Not because we Know God Jehovah is incapable of lying, So even if Jesus was God in the flesh that woupd mean people are STILL looking at God, thus That would mean God is a Liar, and We know God is not capable of lying, there is No Way around it Even Jesus says That He is The son Of God, and People calling Jesus God is Literally Discrediting Gods work, its like a CEO Boss and his Receptist, The Boss tells he/her what to Write on a Letter amd ppl say "very well written Receptionist) but in Fact the Boss is the one who Put the effort and Worded the Letter so The Credit should go to the actual God Jehovah, Jesus Is our King, But Our All Mighty Lord God Is Jehovah Psalms 83:18 says His Name, and so many Other scriptures say God's name, and No, Jesus and Jehovah are ot the same "people" yes Jesus says The father and I are one but people are taking it literal as one Flesh but he means it like this.....Example : I am a 24 Yr old man My father is a 50 year old man, Him and I Are one, In the sense of We both THINK THE SAME and Agree with each other in SOOO MANY THINGS we Agree we are the men who should care for our Wife/kids we agree God Jehovah First we agree We need to be hardworking and we need to preach the word of Our Lord Jehovah But it doesn't meant we are literally one in flesh) and that's what Jesus meant, Jesus is Perfect so Anything his Father Jehovah says he agrees with it because As his son He will do Anything his Father....our Father Jehovah tells us we must do, and that's What he meant by "we are one".

Best. scene. ever! Loved it! Especially when Jesus reaches His hand to catch Simon, and when Simon says, "Don't let me go!" Jesus will never let us go!!!
Mathew 14: 30-31"But when he saw the wind, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and took hold of him, and saith unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?"
Makes one wonder what it was really like when it happened. I would love, when I breathe my last and hopefully, with God's mercy, make it to heaven, get a view into these happenings, as if I were witnessing it firsthand, like the night Jesus was born, to see the big star in the sky, and Jesus preaching at the temple when he was 12 and the miracles, the last supper, the crucifixion, the Transfiguration, the coming out of the tomb and seeing the look on the Roman soldiers' faces and finally being carried up to heaven.

It's more like he started to doubt that this was all real. He started to doubt that him being able to walk on water was reality and started to think it was all a dream and Jesus was a ghost. So he started to sink. He yellet towards the Lord to save him. So Jesus grabbed his hand as he was about to sink and told him " Oh you of little faith...Why did you doubt?"
Oh my... what can I say. Like Simon I questioned God. We have all done that. This wonderful film helps us experience what it is like to be lifted out of the storm and find peace in Him. Please keep making these wonderful movies.
Jesus' words, "Peace, be still," sink so deep and hold such great meaning for me. There is nothing too big for Him to handle because even the storm obeys Him. So please cast all your worries to Jesus and he will take control Matt 11vs 28.
Do you ask Jesus to do things for you in the secular World? I'm just asking & if you don't want to answer, please don't as that's no problem whatsoever.
I've always loved that Jesus gave Simon his new name before this moment. He knew that he would be a stone and sink, and in giving him his name he was already prepared to catch him.
I've been aware of this "walked on water" story my whole life which is wonderful & awesome. What played my heart-strings was Eden's self-less prayer to the Lord to not let go of Simon (Peter). The Lord, Himself, is the best request to ask for. Many times, we get caught up in asking the Lord for things-in-this-life that we think we want for ourselves or others. When all this time, the Lord wants you to want Him through letting Him have your heart. "Lord, Please don't let us get too far away from you. Keep close to us. You are the HEALTH that our mind, body, spirit, and emotions TRULY needs. We love you, trust you, and put our faith in you always. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen."
I love this scene on so many levels - from the realistic visual effects to the dialogue. I think we all have been through a trial or trauma when we felt the same emotions as Simon does. Jesus doesn’t stop the pain, but explains the reasoning for it. On the edge of my seat forSeason 4!
I was already hating Simon due to his ungratefulness (didn't he remember how Jesus saved him from his debts in Season 1?) But then I remember how sometimes I act like this after everything Jesus has done for me.
@tawan20082008 you have a free will. Only satan will stoop down to the level of begging people to follow him. But we see that when we praise Jesus as our Lord and Savior, he accepts the praise and blesses us. He won't tell us or ask us for it, this scene even portrays what I am talking about. When Jesus held Simon, he asked, "why did you doubt"?
I was telling a friend about this show and she seemed kind of skeptical until I showed her this seen and she lost it! I told her this show will change your whole life!!! I get something different from it every time I watch it.
Exactly how we feel when we feel lost, scared and unsure. You just want Jesus to hold you and reassure you that everything will be okay and to never let you go❤ This scene gave me the chills❤️
Shahar is an Israeli....the things he is witnessing if he is in Israel is beyond belief!. Yes, Pray for him, Pray for Israel and all who genuinely want peace! For all that is happening in our world, I would feel a bit more comfort if I were in the Holy Land.
Amen, the power of God! He walks on water. Awesome is our God! He calms the storm. Even the winds and the waves obey him! Majestic ! And we question God??
Once in a while i still come to see this scene again. It's full of simbolism. If we lost our focus on Jesus and everything that matters we will drown. Never let the doubt and fears get you. Hug Jesus and never let go
I go back to this scene so many times as it speaks to me of why God allows trials in our lives. He lets his people go hungry, but he feeds them as well. He never lets us go.
So many times we find ourselves fighting so hard against the "storms" of this life. Its when we stop and look beyond ourselves to the One who is there, waiting for us to rest in Him to carry us thru, that we find peace and strength we never imagined. Thank you God for your mercy and strength.
I am suffering from Chronic liver cirrhosis stage 3 and have tumor/cancer in liver. The doctor has surrendered and told me that I have little time to survive in this world. but I had submitted my faith in Him. I believe that He will never leave me. But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by his wounds we are healed.
I just found this clip and and I cried like a baby when Simon says, Don't let me go." Keep our eyes on Jesus that's all we need. I am starting this series soon and bringing tissues!
@@TheChosenSeries My daughter watched with me and we were both hooked. Reading the stories in the Bible is one thing but being able to see it (especially for my daughter as she doesn't read the Bible like I do) was just wow. My daughter's words "Mary Mary Magdalene never gets recognized enough, in the Bible, for being one of Jesus's first followers." So much to say, in a good way, about Ep 1, and can't wait to watch Ep 2 tonight. Thank you for creating this series, it really has moved us already :)
Besides the brilliant cinematic genius, the emotional hold the scene has is so impactful. The way in which it is woven in with Eden's journey was masterful. But it's really the dialogue between Simon and Jesus that gets you every time. Truly one of the most powerful scenes in the series.
Every time I hear “do not be afraid” I get chills. It’s the only thing I’ve heard God say directly to me loud as day, with His VOICE instead of scripture. It was loud and thunderous… a very authoritative voice. It’s been my biggest comfort ever since 🙏🏽❤️✝️
"Dont't let me go." That doubt and fear that the Lord does not see us and isn't with us through the storm in our life is so real and can be so overwhelming. "I've got you." Such precious words! This scene is such a powerful reminder that no matter what, Jesus is always with us and will never let go. So grateful that Dallas decided to include this walking on water scene despite his initial (valid and understandable) reservations and so blessed by the way it was written, directed and portrayed by all the actors. The special effects team did their part with excellence too. Because of all your care, prayers and effort behind this, what truly stands out is the understanding, reassurance, love and grace of our precious Lord and Savior. Thank you Jesus that You never let us go no matter the storm. Blessings and love to everyone in The Chosen family. ❤
The power of this scene is remarkable. Grateful, Lord, for revealing your presence in every storm, guiding us towards You. Simon portrays the emotions of a common man.
There is SO much that I love about The Chosen, but THIS scene, the one that Dallas didn't want to film, is the scene that I love the most. Never take your eyes off of our Lord. Life is tough, but He is ALWAYS right here with us.
This was a very bittersweet episode for me personally. What Eden was experiencing was I expect many of us ladies can relate to. I sobbed so hard, it opened up emotions I’d locked away. Yet as Jesus was explaining He puts us through “trials” and my word has He given me mine. It was wonderfully and very considerately put together. Thank you “chosen team” every single one of you. 🙏🏼
I love the use of lighting and color throughout this scene. That dark blue tone throughout the storm helps make it scary and ominous. The cutaway scenes starting at 4:27 have a reddish-orange lighting that creates a warmer mood and a perfect contrast. After the storm calms, the dark blue tone remains for a few minutes, but then the sunrise at 9:11 shows that the trouble is past and introduces some warmness to the scene. I just love details like these!
"Peace! Be still!" Immediately, the storm falls silent. Having served its purpose. Simon had stepped out on faith, and not just from the boat about to sink under the weight of the storm, but also earlier from another boat, one about to sink under the weight of a normally-impossible catch of fish. In both cases, he had taken his eye off the Lord, afraid of surrounding dangers, but most of all afraid the Lord had forsaken him. He needed to learn, as do we all, that even though the storms are indeed powerful and deadly, the One who loves us is greater than all of it. We need not fear anyone or anything, because if we are faithful, if we are His, if we keep our eye firmly fixed on Him, the One who commands it all works all things to our good!
I made a comment today to a friend questioning the existence of God. I have never had Christian movie clips show up on my UA-cam feed and I’m pretty sure this clip was sent to me for a reason. It literally brought tears to my eyes and I feel like he was speaking to me through this scene. Truly amazing!

Really? Wow! Out of the miracles I never believed this one. It's just such a preposterous premise so I didn't take it seriously. It's great TV though, they did a real good job.
Beautiful and powerful scene! So glad they decided to do it and put so much effort into making it what it is. And Simon. To have so much faith and yet begin to doubt when he looks at what's going on around him instead of Jesus. Let us not be distracted by the world! Keep your eyes on Jesus!
This is by far the most beautiful and powerful video ever about jesus walking on the water miracle. It showed me that believing in lord son of god is not just to be saved in the after death and afterlife it's also about this life too, believing in Jesus is to get blessings protection and help for this life and beyond. The visuals of the moment when Jesus Calms the storm is just stunning. Takes my breath away every time, and really makes the familiar passage in Scripture come to life.

OMG, it took my tears out, when Jesus said "Why did you doubt?" Sometimes we also doubt God's plan but, and I really felt sorry for that now.
Hands down the best scene in the series so far. Probably both Shahar and Jonathan’s best performances to date 🙌🏼
I can't wait for what we will see. He is coming soon 🤍

My mom is currently undergoing a surgery and this whole year has been a mess for my family with new problems coming every day. But this is also the year that we started seeing the chosen. It had definitely helped us MASSIVELY with our faith and when we saw the finale…we saw all of us in Simon as we cry out to Jesus to not let us go and to not forsake us. When Jesus grabs his hand and pulls him up and embraces him…. Cannot explain how that touched us. I thank Jesus for being with us throughout this year and I pray he’s with my mom rn. Thank you to all Chosen cast crew and also to Dallas Jenkins. Shalom shalom
Thanks for your openness in sharing how The Chosen has helped your family through a struggle, Jeslyn.

Instead of fixing his eyes on Jesus,
Simon looked left and right, that is why he sank. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, He will never let us sink!!!!
I can relate to that as I am ending a long morphine prescription. I am down to 40 mg from 700mg. I want to follow JEsus better I have gone astray so much in life. I hope his blood can cover my multitude of sins.
@@planes3333 You are doing amazing, I am so proud of you! Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, he died on the cross for you. His blood washes away any and all sins. No matter what you have said or done, for any length of time, he will forgive you. @@PonderingWhimsy Thanks so much
It's more like he started to doubt that this was all real.
The show is one of the best shows ever created.
Praise Jesus 🙏🏼❤️
I saw this in a movie theater and from the time the lightning revealed the figure walking on water, I was quivering.
Same.
I agree 🕊️
I had to stop it, was crying in a workshop
The lightning revealing His figure instantly brings me to tears
Yes, I nearly jumped out of my skin! What a powerful scene!
@@johnmichaelson9173 what does this even mean
The silhouette of Jesus in the lightning flash gave me goosebumps! Incredible direction, acting, & effects team!
I won't never turn my face from you again jesus ❤️ Amen ✨💯
I've always loved that Jesus gave Simon his new name before this moment.
He knew that he would be a stone and sink, and in giving him his name he was already prepared to catch him.
When Jesus reaches his hand out to help simon it gives me chills. Such a powerful scene.
Everytime.
Lies again? Plane Ticket Woodlands Stadium
That one line has been the story of my life.
Don’t ever let me go.
So powerful and so beautiful, Glory be to our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
@tawan20082008 The word "glory" appears 124 times in the New Testament.
May Jesus walk into All our lives. ALL HAIL THE KING. ❤
I was telling a friend about this show and she seemed kind of skeptical until I showed her this seen and she lost it! I told her this show will change your whole life!!! I get something different from it every time I watch it.
When he was holding Simon I felt that and started crying now knowing that Jesus is always here for my hardship.
Exactly how we feel when we feel lost, scared and unsure. You just want Jesus to hold you and reassure you that everything will be okay and to never let you go❤ This scene gave me the chills❤️
My prayers are with Shahar. May he experience God's presence just like this in whatever challenges he is going through in Israel. B blessed.
Shahar is an Israeli....the things he is witnessing if he is in Israel is beyond belief!.
Yes, Pray for him, Pray for Israel and all who genuinely want peace! For all that is happening in our world, I would feel a bit more comfort if I were in the Holy Land.
The best New Testament Bible re-enactment I've seen
I'm crying again and again!😭😭 This week I was praying to the Lord: "Hold me back! Don't let me go!" and that scene spoke a lot to me.
Amen
Amen, the power of God! He walks on water. Awesome is our God! He calms the storm. Even the winds and the waves obey him! Majestic ! And we question God??
When Jesus said "PEACE BE STILL!" Those 3 words just calmed my whole soul and spirit!
Once in a while i still come to see this scene again.
It's full of simbolism. If we lost our focus on Jesus and everything that matters we will drown. Never let the doubt and fears get you. Hug Jesus and never let go
@8:36 Powerful words that can make you cry. Oh, how good our God is.
This scene is so masterfully done it is incredible.
Best cinematic adaptation of Jesus life ever made.
You have restored my faith🙏
I go back to this scene so many times as it speaks to me of why God allows trials in our lives. He lets his people go hungry, but he feeds them as well. He never lets us go.
Jesus is the best part of my life everytime i think of him i fell piece
So many times we find ourselves fighting so hard against the "storms" of this life. Its when we stop and look beyond ourselves to the One who is there, waiting for us to rest in Him to carry us thru, that we find peace and strength we never imagined. Thank you God for your mercy and strength.
We must keep our eyes on JESUS Amen .📯📖
I am suffering from Chronic liver cirrhosis stage 3 and have tumor/cancer in liver. The doctor has surrendered and told me that I have little time to survive in this world. but I had submitted my faith in Him. I believe that He will never leave me.
But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Thank you Yeshua for saving me when I wasn't worthy of being saved. You made a way when there was no other way.
I just found this clip and and I cried like a baby when Simon says, Don't let me go." Keep our eyes on Jesus that's all we need. I am starting this series soon and bringing tissues!
Let us know what you think after you've watched the first episode!
I love the details and behind the scenes of the Bible stories
We're glad you're enjoying them.

Every time I hear “do not be afraid” I get chills. It’s the only thing I’ve heard God say directly to me loud as day, with His VOICE instead of scripture.
It was loud and thunderous… a very authoritative voice. It’s been my biggest comfort ever since 🙏🏽❤️✝️
I like how that's often the first words in visions. He understands how small we are and easy to frighten and doesn't want us to fear Him.
@@blazednlovinit so true because I’m not gonna lie.. for a split second because His voice was so authoritative & loud I was DEFINITELY afraid 😂🤣🙏🏽

Faith.. faith.. don’t let me go!!!
Me my wife and two friends saw this in theaters, we were all crying during this scene.
Literally cried 😢just from Him saying I'm Here. The most powerful words EVER
BEAUTIFUL!!!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! I am in TEARS…..TEARS of JOY!!!!❤️❤️🙏🙏
Our special effects guys do an amazing job.
