U MEAN LIKE HIS HAIR. WHEN U LOOK HIM AND KOMODO DRAGON. U KNOW THESE 2 ARE UP TO NO GOOD. OK SAVANHA HAVE LIONS AND ISLANDS HAVE SOME OTHER DANGER ANIMALS. BUT WHEN U SEE BROWNY AND DRAGON U KNOW THEY ARE NOT REALLY...LETS JUST SAY, NORMAL.
Could happily have watched another hour or more of Strandwolf's story. Will there be another episode? His struggle to provide for and protect the pups perhaps? And what of his mate, do they bond for life or make new couplings every season? Thanks to all involved; a masterful nature documentary. Was about to sleep but this held my interest.
The writing is pure poetry at times, but at other times, it is jarring enough to distract from the message. I spent too much time mulling over the words in context such that I had to rewind scenes because I was held up by a poor choice of words from a previous scene. There doesn’t appear to be any native English speakers on staff, and it shows in the often clunky monologue. With Sir Attenborough’s nature documentaries, for a contrasting example, I may find the British word choices and pronunciations intriguing, but they are never a distraction from what is being said. This documentary’s narration would be gold if there were a native English-speaking (multigen background) editor to relieve the writer of awkward phrasing, grammatical mistakes, and diction errors. It’s a nature film, not a scientific textbook; it should appeal to the layperson. There’s no need to track down and insert the most obscure, multisyllabic words from a thesaurus, especially not if the goal is to cut and paste such words into sentences in which they do not fit. Otherwise, I enjoyed the musical and poetic tones that the author(s) employed.
They might prefer carrion to hunting wild game, but not to livestock which are an easy kill. They pose an absolute credible threat to livestock and the livelihoods of all the people who depend on thheir anuimals for their survival
Great documentary. But I don’t like this artificial arrangement of hyena hunting seals. Things should be left in their natural order. Naturally, hyenas’ territories don’t overlap with that of seals. But people intentionally transported hyena thousands of miles from his homeland to the coastal area where he has no other option but to look for food on the beach.
These hyenas would've found this food source just as easily as the jackals did. Just because a few hyenas were removed from cattle ranches doesn't imply that other hyenas weren't already for thousands of years at places where a food source was to be exploited....at the coast.
It’s all for the survival & benefit of the species. Yes, in a perfect world humans wouldn’t be in the way of wildlife but these farmers aren’t going anywhere. It’s just a reality of life. At least they’re not being shot on sight or poisoned as farmers & ranchers have done to many other predators. Hyenas are incredible survivors. They will adapt & ultimately thrive if we can just manage to stay out of their way & give them the space they need.
