      Apex Detail how many cars/trucks can I get out of a bottle of hydrosilex?

      If you use the dry application method...quite a few. over ten. The rinse method wastes way too much.

      Brian, 1st i'm huge fan of your work and see all your videos. Please help: i'm working in an exrem hard clearcoat, and i tried M105, Menzerna F400, and now i bought Angelwax because of this video! With angelwax the results improved a bit specially in working time and dust, but i still need 8 passes to remove more deep scratches (i hopped that with this i will need less passes and reduce time). I'm using LC yellow pads, but tried also with microfiber with no improvement. Can you give me some advise? Thanks!!!

      Try Rupes yellow wool pad (see Dallas Paint Correction video for that) or probably a rotary, not sure what else, maybe Cutmax as last resort?

    I love the FACT Brian use a D.A as most beginners use D.A in real world detailing, this let folks (customers) know PAINT CORRECTION can be done with a (True) D.A machine

      Absolutely... if you master the machine... you can use anything.

    This is one of my favorite compounds. It does dust once you get it working, but cleanup is easy. All their products are excellent!
    I also use Jace Price and I still like Resurrection overall better. Jace Price does dust a lot less though.

      Absolutely...a close second on my list to Sonax.

      Apex Detail disregarding price, do you still feel Cutmax cut a bit more? I have no idea.

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  6 років тому +1

      When I did a correction on a Stingray with harder clear. Cutmax was slightly quicker to cut. Not enough to make that much of a difference

    Thumbs up Brian for Anglewax Resurrection!!!! $32.99 per 500 ml not bad for a great compound!! I would sooner pay more for a compound that works well with little dusting, excellent results than go cheaply on one that you struggle with and poor results!!

    Have you tried Mothers Heavy Duty Cutting Compound? I saw some at my body shop store earlier today and thought it might be a good option. I've been using megs 105/205 for buffing my paint jobs but I'm in need of a quicker and cleaner option. Huge thanks for making this series man 🤙

    Great videos! I think your the BEST on UA-cam! You said that GM has harder paint, but you mean GM has harder Clearcoat? I have a 2017 Camaro and wanted to know if that Clearcoat is soft or hard so I can use the right cutting compound!

    • @apexdetail85
      @apexdetail85  6 років тому

      Thanks! Yeah generally GM has harder clear. Any of those you see on my metals table would do just fine.

    That is a fair score at second place, I think it could share the top spot with Cutmax. once I buy a new car sometime this year im just going to get the whole Angelwax arsenal to go with it. The products are always exceptional. What is the name of Angel wax polish?

    I dont understand how you can completely get rid of 2k grits with just 2 passes. I did the same thing and I still see scratches, even after 3-4 passes. Is it because you're using a rotary?

    • @tommartin1223
      @tommartin1223 5 років тому

      Hes. Not using a rotary. Its a 3 in dual action
