Totally respect Paul Maurice but if any coach in the nhl should be getting praised for what they have done to a team ,the Oilers coach takes the cake! From literally the bottom of the standing in early season to a 8 game win streak then a 16 game win streak and beating teams in the wcf that were '' deeper the the Oilers'' to now they are in the cup final ,amazing!!

Bill speaks in very humble way. The signings done by him to strengthen a strong team for this season were excellently scouted.
Final will be fasignating because teams are so different with different strengths and weaknesses.
Panthers just dont have much weaknesses. Just if Bob gets injury, that could possibly little shake the team a bit. But not crushbit.

Stolarz has been even better than Bobrovsky this season. I will be just as confident in our ability if Stolarz had to be thrown in

Fans rarely focus on teams outside their jurisdiction hence the stigmatization of being a Canucks fan, an Oilers fan, a Panthers fan, a Rangers fan etc., however, watching teams in the eastern.conference when you reside in the MSTzone or vice.versa will highlight the parity throughout the league. I've listened to Oilers match-ups on Sirius not on the Oilers channel but from the opposition booth & during the Oilers/Stars WCF, Dallas broadcasters were effusive with praise for the Oilers; something you'd never experience if living inside an echo.chamber was the ideal. For scouting purposes, I've listened to the Panthers/Rangers ECF & it wasn't necessarily the Panthers who won the series, moreover, it was the Rangers who lost it. Nothing is guaranteed & nothing is inevitable; the ingénue Panthers (1993) could upset the veteran Oilers (1979) during this seven game ceremony however, when a team has 40m sympathizers & sycophants on your side, it's difficult not to ride that wave. Granted, Leafs fans will come around during G6, after all, they're always late to the party however, the faithful will receive their reward.

Paul is a great hockey mind, he has so much experience at this stage of his career. Both coaches are prob very well liked.. It's going to be a tight series, prob a 6 or 7.
