I've had my pair about 7 months. I will peel a bit here and there, but mostly just let the paint chips come off on their own. They still aren't completely peeled, but I kinda like the random bits of color peaking out here and there amidst the black overlay.
Bought mine on stockx cause they were gone within seconds. I inspected the crap out of the shoe to make sure it wasn't a fake and started to think so after the only place the peeling would happen is the toe box and the occasional wear on the ankle part. I really thought the posting would come off more easily since a simple press would show the paint chips cracking. Glad to know that if you don't peel it yourself it really takes a while.

@mariam4319 still not completely peeled. More than halfway I'd say. But, I don't consistently wear them all the time.
Fire AF1 the laces upside down for me is a total no go. Good work though!

More shoes and less face, you say no need to see the entire process but that's unfortunately the most interesting thing. Wider angle would be better to avoid seeing half of a shoe for 7 minutes. Keep up!

It’s supposed to crack and reveal the more and more u wear the shoe on some symbolism shit but some people prefer the revealed version and crack it themselves
Do you happen to know of the hair dryer and teasers will work on the Kevin Bradley dunk/air force 2? I have a feeling its the same material up top. Some of it is yellowing and I'm not going to be skating it off any time soon.

You don't HAVE to peel it, but you definitely can as seen in this video. Majority of the toebox paint will be removed eventually after wearing (the main appeal of this design).
