      @@charliefisher6380 interestingly enough, it’s actually impossible for a casual observer to have literally any idea what someone is experiencing within their own mind. Shock can look exactly like what you saw from this woman. Processing time varies WIDELY. I have autism and sometimes it takes me years to even start processing things my brain puts on the back burner, either bc it’s especially stressful or bc I’m already dealing w/ my max capacity and I ran out of energy (see also, running out of fucks to give) the biggest problem w/ this is, you can’t always predict when the thing will suddenly demand to be processed, by giving you a surprise panic attack or crying and not being sure why, etc. This can also happen w/ PTSD, for a lot of people. It took me a long time to realize I wasn’t just seeing random montages of past upsetting events in my life, that that’s actually a PTSD thing.
      Anyway, hope this helps bc your comment was pretty disrespectful and clueless. By learning more about mental health, you put yourself in a much better position for friends and family to feel safe being vulnerable with you.

      Listening to him talk about his stand up routine was a real shocker. I mean he said “people can relate to”. Who the fuq can relate to that? It's not like everyone has a spouse being blown to pieces everyday. Crazy fuq. I feel bad for the shopgoers who literally had been there when she got blown to bits who actually had her blood and body parts all over them. That's traumatic at the max, ontop of any burns that they got fromsaid explosion. I do wonder what mix he even used to blow her up. I can almost sense the govt imposing more rules and tracking of these chemicals with potential suspects. I mean it's a start but also these people are super crafty from a inexperienced chemistry girl. For them to be able to do that with all the imposed regulations on a lot of household products and such shows a little level of intelligence in the chemistry field that is. Too bad he had to take what he was good at and use it for an evil purpose. Just thinking if he kept up with his rocket buildings he could have a successful page on tictok, youtube and other platforms. I mean is love to see rockets getting blasted up with pure chemistry concoctions. Rockets blasting up super high and everything is super cool and probably would have garnered him more fame then his acting gigs. He could have been that rocket guy. Sadly he made the wrong choice and now a woman life is wiped out, a child lost their mother and other individuals are further traumatized over this experience. Such a waste

    "I was ironically in an anxiety group" this is comedy gold! plus, bonus for first correct use of "ironically" on the internet.

    • @sfdntk
      @sfdntk 2 місяці тому +2

      Sorry to be that guy, but that's not a correct use of irony, it's a coincidence. A coincidence is when two unrelated things happen in a way that make them seem connected - eg, a woman in an anxiety group is near the location of an unrelated anxiety-inducing explosion - while irony is when an action has the opposite effect from the one intended - eg, trying to blow your wife up but accidentally blowing yourself up instead. It's not enough that she was at an anxiety group and experienced anxiety, there has to be a direct causal link between the two things, and there's no link between her decision to go to an anxiety group and the building blowing up.
      Just to complicate things further, there are actually three types of irony: verbal irony, which is the use of words to express the opposite sentiment from their literal meaning (eg, getting splashed with water by a passing car, and exclaiming "well that was awesome, so glad that happened") which is often mistaken for sarcasm; dramatic irony, which is when the audience knows something that the characters don't; and situational irony, which is what I described above, when the outcome of an action is the opposite of what was intended.
      Having said all that, language isn't proscriptive, the meaning of words changes with common use over time, and I'd say that so many people are using the word "ironic" when they mean "coincidental" that it basically means the same thing in common parlance now. Just like how people use the word "literally" to add emphasis even when they're not being literal, so it's taken on an additional colloquial meaning. So it's technically wrong, but nobody should care all that much unless they're writing a formal essay about it.

Nothing else matters, not their children, not their families, just their money. I haven't even heard the entire story yet and I already know what's going to happen because there are tons of bodies in the ocean and in those canyons that are victims of greed and many other things.
