My Last Days in Serbia Until October

- That dreaded time of year has arrived..... I'm heading to the US until October!
One of my employers on Nantucket is entrusting me with opening a branch of his business on the neighboring island of Martha's Vineyard this year. I'll be there from March 5th- Oct 1st. I usually leave for the US in May, but we need to get this business going before the busy summer rush so I decided to go sooner.
This video shows my final moments in my tiny Novi Sad apartment that I have called home for 4 or so years. I'm going to miss the location, but I'm going to find my own place. It's time for me to purchase a nice property in Serbia. I also discuss my quest to get a coronavirus test in Belgrade so I can board my flight to the US and the horrible mess that Air Serbia created for all of us on that Thursday flight to NYC. They ended up booking us on Turkish Air instead. :(
There will be the sign on the door: "Charles lived here, 1130 e per month!" Eyes open and stay safe mate.

Charles it was a big sports weekend here Saturday night with Uros Medic from Novi Sad and Aleksandar Rakic in the UFC both winning and Nikola Jokic yesterday at the NBA all-star game .
Uros is a good friend of mine. He went to the U.S. through my agency, I've known him for ages and just chatted with him on WhatsApp last week! Loved to his dominance!

Sorry, Brate! That's how traveling in the time of Covid looks. Obviously, airlines are trying to cut their expenses. They are not willing to fly empty planes, especially AirSerbia that has just one Airbus a330-200 designated for the States. But, AirSerbia should have notified you earlier! At least 72hrs prior to the scheduled flight.

Please keep us informed in what you will be doing, showing beautiful places your every day chores, business wheeling and dealing.
