Written pattern: 1: Chain 56, (or until its long enough for the front) chain 3 more and put a double crochet three away from the hook 2:Then double crochet all the way across 3:chain two from where you left off, then turn and double crochet across Do this until row twenty (or until it’s long enough to start the arm) 21: place a marker six stitches from the end of each side. Slip stitch until you hit the marker, chain two then double crochet until the next marker. 22- 41: go only over the part between the markers for the next 19 rows (until it’s tall enough for the arm to fit through) Do everything up until 20 again and mark the middle 42: Do six slip stitches and then double crochet until you hit just before your stitch in the middle 43-53: crochet on just this chunk 54: double crochet until you’re four stitches from the opposite side, this should be the side facing the center, slip stitch one then chain one 55: flip and then slip stitch three, then double crochet until the end of the row 56: Double crochet until you’re three away from the end Repeat this pattern of slip stitching / ditching the last three stitches until you have like 6 left Do the exact same steps on the other side from 43 onward Collar area: single crochet up the middle of the collar then chain two and turn when you hit the end of the collar, then double crochet across and stop in the middle, repeat the same in the other side of the collar. Then sew together a little bit where the sides of the collar meet. Sew together your front and pack (yay you’re almost done!) Then double crochet or use a different decorative stitch around the arms for two or three rows, do the same around the bottom. Then go around the neck part of the collar with double crochet, (or the other stitch from the arms + bottom) not going over the chest part. Continue double crocheting around for ten rows Yay you’re finished good job!
when i crocheted 19 for the front (i think) piece, i was 6 away from the stitch marker in the center. should i add more to be 1 stitch before the marker like you did or should i just keep it as it is and have a huge gap in the middle??
Great pattern! I have a question. How did you do the v part on the front piece before connecting the two pieces? There was no voice over or caption so I didn't follow.
No offense , i like the top but you didnt tell me your crotchet hook size , the amount of yarn used and i can barely hear what you are saying because of your accent
This is the exact style of top I’ve been looking for, so excited to make it! 😍
Awwww🥰 Happy crocheting.. Please share
