For practicing bushcraft skills and enjoying the backcountry, I much prefer the Victorinox. For a get home kit, etc. The Leatherman Supertool. The need to cut through wire/fencing, to escape a wildfire for example, is very real!
I had to evacuate at midnight for Hurricane Helene as the flood waters were rising and I took my CS AD15 Lite with me. I don't really need a multi-tool if things get bad, but I may have to cut debris or whatever and that AD15 Lite is the best all-around knife I have. As for coffee- I have ordered from Old Bisbee Roasters for the past 20 years. They roast fine single origin coffees from around the world.
Both excellent choices.....I'm going with the victor. I've had one for many years and love it. Its smaller than the one you have but has all the same stuff plus more. Great video......👍🤙
I have a camping trip coming up. I'll have my fixed blade on me, but I'm struggling with this same decision. Victorinox or Leatherman. Thanks for the video!
I've had many leatherman tools over the years. I stopped buying them after the crunch. The bits are so soft I don't believe they were hardened. Personally I like a Victorianox huntsman and a kipnex plyers. But recently I bought a bibury 19-1 for under $30. I'm very impressed. Essentially the bit driver. I use wiha bits they are the best I've found. My opinion is probably different than many because I'm a mechanic so tools are something I've used to earn a living not just show off on video. Leatherman has lost their minds. I can buy purpose built tools and still save money.
@@richardhenry1969 I get where you are coming from. I got a good knock off of the the leatherman wave from ozark trail, I really like the standard bit driver in it
I put glow in the dark paint on mine cause looking for stuff you dropped sux I also tend to use lanyards with florescent reflective cordage and I tie that stuff to me. The victorinox is in my kit . plyers if i know im going to be messing with fencing or snars
Good Morning 🌄
Good Morning to you as well

My exact thoughts while I am on the horse ranch.
I find that it's really hard to find the perfect tool. Good thing we don't have to actually puck just one

I'm glad you made it safe from that hurricane. And that coffee sounds good
I would have to pick the leatherman. One too many times , it's got me home vs calling for help or walking home.
@@barrywetzel4468 that's why I like it too, I can do more with it then the vic
I like that victor one the best !
Its a good choice. A person can do alot with it
Good video. A single blade knife that is broke is now a nice paper weight.
Yeah they dont work to well lol.
@@Robertssurvivalsystems I've carried a dual bladed victorinox for years. It is a very handy tool.
@@mikebsbd They sure are. Makes me wounder why I do not see more of them in use vs in a collection some where.

@@TheNorvikWay thank you much. They are both great tools for sure. It's hard to pick just one.

@@Vester661 good choice. You can always go for a ozark trail if money is tight . You have a good day too

That's a good idea with the paint.
Victorinox every time! The steel in leatherman is crap!
I have no issues with the leatherman steel. Nor victoranox. But you can't go wrong with a good victoranox either way.
