Hi Mike, you are the most thorough Studio One teacher on UA-cam 👍. Unfortunately I am not on Facebook user so won't be able to join the group, but I hope you continue to create these UA-cam tutorials.
great video! thanks for the tips. some of them i didn't even know were possible like shifting notes by dragging to give the strum effect. up to now ive done this by selecting each note individually. i will definitely implement your tips which wil be a huge time saver. thanks!!!!
I learned something new, remembered something I'd forgotten and re-enforced things I don't always do but should. Thanks.
Thank you, Mike. I use an alias here but I've joined your FB group with my real name.
Studio One Revealed: The Unofficial Users Manual for Studio One!
Great info. Thanks!
Great tips Mike, Keep them coming!
This is great. Thanks for the video
Thanks for the tips!
Thank you Mike for yet another great video!
Very helpful and well-presented
Thanks once again for great info Mike! I can use these features!
Thank you - this is great! You were very concise and got right to the point.
Thanks Mike, your knowledge is awesome.
The first tip is really time saving, Thanks Mike
Oh thanks for these!!!!!!!
Bravo et voila super
Mind blowing and remarkably useful.
Brilliant just brilliant lots of shortcuts that I did know🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Voilà! Love that! Once again give thanks Mike and ... I hope you're well
I'm new to Studio One and for every time I see a tutorial, I'm amazed at what's possible. Can I transpose a whole project to a new key?
Useful, clear and concise tutorial. Like your teaching style , joined your FB group. Thanks.
О, спасибо за очень полезные трюки, вы мне сэкономили много времени и нервов)
Great midi tips. I don't play much keys, but I do use a guitar midi controller. Being a guitar player mostly I have not learned a lot of the ins and outs regarding midi. I typically play a part and do some simple piano roll editing, if necessary or I just redo part....I definitely need to expand my knowlege in this department. Thanks for all your great information Mike. I joined your Facebook group and I have made one post about Dolby Atmos...Cheers!
Bravo ! 😊💫👌
Please do a tutorial on universal control, there is not much out there on how this program works and the why and what of how to use it. Your videos are the easiest of all to understand on youtube. Thanks
Great Tips. Should make the workflow a little easier - if I can remember them :-}
yeah good tips, all this time i never knew about chase midi, wow that would have helped me in the past..
I "C" what you did there :D
Great video as always but my expectation has not been met yet on the midi tips.
I need your video on how to easily write chord to the piano roll within the scale once by clicking or dragging on a note.
Thanks Mike.
Very helpful video, especially 'Chase Long Notes'! Thank you. What about editing Midi Events. It was easy to do in Sonar but it seems to be not possible in Studio One? Is that your experience?
Am trying to output my channels from ezdrummer 3 ..how to do to have more than 16?..love your teaching..❤
When doing midi tracks, I'd love to know how to make things like horns sound more realistic. How can we do fall offs and things like that?
Mike, what's the best way to save and backup my work. Cheers!
Could you do a MIDI basics video? Your Secret Sauce S1 video is somewhat dated and things have been moved around since then.
Great teacher, thank you :) I have a question. Let's say I created a midi track with a cello but I ant to change it to flute. Is there a way I can just switch from cello to flute without having to actual play the whole song again? Thanks a lot :)
Hi Mike. Love your Channel. Can you or anyone else tell me how I get the note names to show on the notes in midi like you do? I Googled a couple of answers in the Studio One forums but what they said did not work for me. I tried to join your Facebook page, but Facebook thinks I'm my wife, who has no interest in music, so I cancelled my request! Keep up the splendid work, regards Mike Hill, Queenstown, New Zealand.
How did your make the keys larger on the piano roll
Hey Mike ,great content btw. I'm getting a message when opening Studio One saying 'MIDI engine reset required' but I'm stumped on how to do this, any solutions ?
How did you have multi instruments on the piano roll
how to do glide note in studio one sir
Any reason not to have the Chase Long Notes on by default? Does it affect performance in a negative way?
How do you view all midi chords and not eg piano, strings and other instruments all in the editor?
How do i make sure that automations are recorded exactly as i played them . My case : i press play( the midi part is drawn on mai tai) and then i move the pitch wheel inside mai tai with my mouse - now it does record the automations but when i play it back it sounds different to what i heard while playing in real time. Is it an automation smoothing issue?
I have a TDW-20 Roland drum kit... I set it up as an instrument in Studio One Pro Ver 5.5.2 and when I play the drum kit, it is successfully recorded on the instrument track that I created. All of that seems to be working... I have an M-audio MIDI Sport 4 channel and it appears that I have the correct in and out cables connected. However, when I play back the song, the midi track that I successfully recorded is not triggering the drum machine. Any thoughts on this?
is your facebook group good if someone makes Hip Hop and Rnb
When did you ditch Cakewalk?😢
You need a bigger screen, 43 or 50 inch are not that expensive anymore
