Hi, I have that same coax stripper, if you line up the end of the coax with the little arrow on the black insert, instead of with the end of the insert, then you don't have to trim the central conductor after compressing the connector. I've watched a couple of videos on compression fittings, and you are the first to remove the foil from around the dielectric, what's the reason to do so? Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
Thanks for the tip, I will check it out. I always read that you should remove the foil, I don't know the reason why, maybe it is to lessen the chance of it shorting if it came a bit loose.
Hey vince, in the process of putting a new aerial up but it has the f-connector on the aerial end and the other end. QUESTION IS... does it matter if u have the f-connector or the belling Lee-connector (I think it’s called) as that’s what’s on the back of my tv not the screw on fittings it all works as one, even if you have some f-connector fittings one end into the belling Lee-connector into my tv ?? Please let me know !! TIA
Great video, thanks Vince!
Very informative. The model of the coax stripper, where to purchase please, cheers.
great thank you. How do you do the other side? The female connector that this plugs into?
This was the first video that he said my mate Vince instead of mr telephone

Hey, yes, you can mix them on the same cable so I have F Connectors on my splitter/booster end and Beliing-Lee connectors on the TV ends.
My Mate VINCE thanks for the reply that’s perfect cheers
