- The Remembrance Day military parade through the City of Perth in Scotland on Sunday 10th November 2019. This was the last time this parade was held due to the pandemic but is due to resume on Sunday 13th November 2022.
After the service of Remembrance in Perth City centre, the parade led by the combined Highland and Lowland Bands of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, together with 7 Scots Pipes and Drums, march through the City. The parade then march along the river Tay past Perth City centre to the Memorial for the 51st Highland Division at North Inch in Perth. Taking the salute were Perth's Provost Dennis Melloy and the Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross Stephen Leckie. The tunes played here include "The 79ths Farewell to Gibraltar", "Scotland the Brave", "The Black Bear" and "Highland Laddie".
I adore and love this beautiful culture of Scotland , I get the goosebumps every time I come across their parades , the Kilts and the colors are truly amazing , the Grace and dignity it covers Scotland .
This Yank and Vietnam veteran salutes and honors your service and sacrifice.
From one vet to another, thank you for service. Greetings from 🏴

@Bewlay Brother there’s never a day that will pass, we wouldn’t stand shoulder to shoulder
Love the pipes. Wish I could play. Thank you to all that chose love of country over love of self
Besides the wonderful music the video is well-done.
Ahh I loved them marching through the autumn leaves !
Scotland the Brave a bit over-played, but the 79th's Farewell with accompanying band ... beauty, joy, delight, gravitas, history, Scottish and yet British. Made me deeply delighted to see and hear that, thanks!
I love it , i worked for the BfG with Scots and Irish Guys together here in Germany
Love this. They’re perfect. Thanks for sharing. 👏👏👏
Great display. Thank you from Michigan.
Wonderful March and deep rooted in Scottish tradition 👏👏👏👏
I love this great music, greetings to everyone, especially free Scotland from Algeria always
Oh Lord, I'm married to a piper from New Jersey that I fell in love with 25 years ago at a halfway to St Pat's Day party. Something about those pipes that makes a person able to march through the gates of hell, as my mother used to say. And the kilts...
This is my home city. I missed this.
Always a pleasure to watch and Always the same excellent standards 👍 👏
fantastic. what else can be said. so well done and the amount of practise that went into that !
MERCI ❤️
Pour ne pas oublier les grands Anciens💜
BLESSINGS 🌹
Beautiful mingle of pipes and brass band. Respect from Portugal.
Bag pipes the sound of love of country!
Lest we forget.
Very nice
Awesome guys. Absolutely awesome. Superb musical arrangement. The mixture of brass and pipes is one you may not think will work, but oh my goodness it sure does.

I really would like to buy a costume like this to parade togheter.
Aramis I will be 81 next birthday and for my 80th I bought my own full highland outfit, having it specially made with our family tartan being of Scottish blood and always wanted one of my own, they are not cheap to buy - but DO IT before it gets too late, I left getting mine far - far too long, I will wear it now for any occasion with pride.
My son is 10.5 years old today
I take it the .Auld Hooss. is a pub.

Strangely speeded up
How to make a marching band with bagpipes and drums even better? Add horns!!!
Pipes and drums are better
God forbid to hurt anybody's feelings, but warm coats with no trousers tax human mind a little bit.
The kilt is warm!
As far as I'm concerned, the band always ruins the pipes. Sack the band off, keep the drums.
NOT SO with the 79th's Farewell ... it needs both!
Ruining the sound of the pipes by adding brass 🤮 that sound is horrendous, no pipe band should ever that concoction
Totally agree! From England.
Totally disagree, it's a deeply affecting and moving sound, and in fact the 79th's Farewell was meant to sound like that!
@@sidpheasant7585 No Pipe Band at any of the Major competitions have brass anywhere near the band and the day they do is the last time I attend any competitions. Its the British army trying to dilute and distort the powerful sound of the Pipes and Drums
@@johnmotchell7866 absolutely not so, and sad that you try to create division and tension where NONE exists. Don't sow the wind, literally! This is no competition; it's Remembrance Sunday...
@@sidpheasant7585 They have the same concoction at the Tattoo it is disgusting and I know plenty of Grade 1 pipers who feel the same
