It’s definitely the peak for ricks character for me. But it just too many slow episodes in the middle to really put it any higher. “See you in another life brotha”

Season 2 is the one that broke the group and caused them to become true survivors, it caused Rick to become a killer who gradually went insane and became more and more merciless. Rick became the true leader, the final test was killing Shane and leading the surviving group members to safety when the farm was overrun by a horde of Walkers. The deaths in Season 2 hit hard. Sophia’s tragic disappearance and death only to be revealed as a Walker in Hershel’s barn broke Rick, caused him to become a killer the next episode, Carol lost her daughter and her journey to become the killer she was in Season 4 sped up, Carl lost his only friend that was his age at that point and became much darker afterwards not recovering from that loss until much later when he met Enid, Daryl was hit hard because he really wanted to save Sophia, he wanted to prove himself to the group and Carol who he became close with in this season. Otis’ tragic death due to his accidental shooting of Carl allowed for the farm arc to begin, Shane shot Otis to save himself and Carl which showed Shane’s rapidly declining mental state. Shane’s dynamics with Rick, Lori, Dale, Carl, Hershel, Andrea, Carol, and everyone in the group is really fun to watch. Glenn’s relationship with Maggie began here. Dale was the next big death this season, he was the moral compass for the group before Hershel took his spot in the next 2 Seasons, Dale was the only one to defend Randall’s life when the group wanted to kill him for being a threat and part of a much larger group. Dale tragically died due to a Walker that Carl messed with when he was wondering alone in the woods, you’d think the group would have learned not to leave the kids unattended after what happened to Sophia but oh well. Rick felt guilty for Sophia and Dale’s deaths and he would spare Randall’s life as it was Dale’s final wish. Shane turning on the group and killing Randall then turning on Rick and trying to kill him was a huge plot twist near the end of the season. Shane’s death at the hands of Rick just proved that Rick had what it took to survive and lead the group. In many ways season 2 was the death of Officer Friendly and the beginning of the brutal murderous Ricktatorship Rick we all know and love.

Carl’s death was the death of the show. Honestly don’t understand how they wrote, shot, edited, then watched that and thought it was a good idea. worst decision in the history of weekly tv shows imo.
I think if Season 2 had 2 more episodes at the start, the original Season opening plan to show how the Atlanta Camp group met each other also explaining the tank Rick got into in the first episode of the show where it had the Walker inside, the episode after that could be the group still in Atlanta going to the Vatos Gang hideout after the CDC showing how they are broken and it could give Sophia more character development and dialogue so you’d grow attached to her, also the group would find out about the Vatos Gang’s mysterious deaths. Later in the Season to give it 16 episodes maybe add an episode in between 18 Miles Out and Judge, Jury, Executioner where Rick and Shane are driving back to the farm from the place they had planned to let Randall go after their fight and maybe they’d be ambushed on the road by Randall’s group and they’d get into a shootout and car chase with Randall in the back seat, once they return to the farm at the end of the episode they’d know the true danger of Randall’s group and it would cause the tension over Randall’s fate to be far higher. I’d call these new episodes S2E1 In The Beginning, S2E2 Gone Vatos, and S2E13 The Living, The Living would be the name of Randall’s group.
They DO adapt the trick or treating bit from the comics, but they give it to RJ and Judith at the commonwealth with Daryl. Which is honestly a lot more fitting than it would have been with Carl in Alexandria.

Twd is a masterpiece in my opinion ive watched it from beginning to end multiple times. Whenever you dont have to wait a week to see what happens next.
Just to touch on the carls age thing a bit.. I believe they also retconed his age in the beginning of the show to fix that issue a bit. At first they said he was 10 in season 1 but later on in the show since Chandler was clearly looked older they made it so that he was instead 12 years old in season 1 which makes him 15 or 16 when he dies.
Season 2 is my favorite season, mostly because of the barn arc and Shane’s descent into madness arc. I liked the feel of the farm setting, it was a slice of peace in a fallen world. I also liked that this season was the start of many characters developing especially Rick, Daryl and Carol.
My ranking worst to best: 11. Season 10. 10A felt like the show was insulting my intelligence. The dumbest things kept happening, and although it wasn't boring (except for 10.2 bc idc about alpha and beta's backstories) it was so dumb. Carol, the woman who takes 10v1s and wins them all the time is all of a sudden super claustrophobic to the point where she has a panic attack? She goes from being one of my favorite characters to one of my least favorite this season. In that same episode, Jerry tells everyone to stop while crawling thru a tunnel so he can take an eon to wind up a flashlight just to almost get bit? Beta somehow sneaks into Alexandria without anyone seeing, and buries himself in a grave? They thought it'd be a good idea to send one of the only voices Siddiq might recognize (Dante) behind enemy lines? 10B was pretty solid, but the whisperer "war" was a bit anti-climactic. 10C (bonus episodes) were unbelievably boring. Judith and Negan honestly carry this season 5/10 10. Season 11. Some gems in there and I liked the commonwealth arc but the reapers felt completely unnecessary. 6/10 9. Season 1. Unpopular opinion, but when I've gone back to rewatch the show, I often skip season 1. It's a great start to the show, don't get me wrong, but it lacks a lot of what made the rest of the show so unique and interesting (real moral dilemmas, human v. human action, etc.). Kinda just felt like another zombie show. Adding that to the fact that it's only 6 episodes, makes it impossible for me to rank it any higher. 6.5/10 8. Season 7. I actually liked season 7, but I understand a lot of people felt it dragged on with some slower episodes. 7x1 was traumatic the first time around, and if I were to watch it again I'd certainly cry and feel sick, but man what a brilliant episode. Introductions to the Kingdom and life at the sanctuary is interesting, but the spirits in 7A are at an all time low, so it's hard to feel good after watching an episode focusing on Alexandria. 7x8 is a turning point and I love the "you have no guts" scene. I love 7B, especially 7x16. 7/10 7. Season 2 I love this season, don't get me wrong, it's just a lot slower than many of the other seasons. Love the moments with Rick and Shane, as we see Shane descend into madness. This is where we first realize that Daryl is going to be one of our favorite characters, and the romance blossoms between Glenn and Maggie. Some of the best individual moments come from this season (Sophia coming out of barn, RIck killing Shane), but I just think it's a bit slower than the other better seasons. 7.5/10 6. Season 8. I really liked season 8, and can understand why people got so upset over Carl's death, but I think it was really well done, and his final episode was beautiful. I love savage Rick as much as the next guy, but I can't think of any other way to get RIck to change his ways to have his "mercy prevail over his wrath." Lots of action in 8A, and though Carl was the only main character death, there were enough side character deaths to keep us on edge (Shiva, most of the kingdom, Dr. Carson, etc.) Lots of euphoria as it finally feels like our survivors are back in control of their own lives. 7.5/10 5. Season 6. Glenn death fake-out is really the only bad thing I have to say about this season. Cool to see our group take control of Alexandria, and I think that 6x9 is one of the best episodes of the entire show. There are certainly some slower episodes (Morgan backstory, Daryl/Sasha/Abraham episode, Maggie/Carol episode, etc.) But the introduction to the Hilltop was awesome and hearing about the saviors but not fully understanding who they are (until episode 16) was terrifying. All-in-all a really great season. 8/10 4. Season 9. I was shocked I liked this season as much as I did, as Rick was by far my favorite character, and I didn't think the show would be the same without him. To be fair, it wasn't, but the time skip was a fantastic idea and there are more than enough strong characters that you only miss Rick a lot (instead of a ton). 9x5 and 9x15 are two of the best episodes of the entire show imo. 9x5 has me crying from the moment we see Hershel until the end, while 9x15 was the most shocking moment of the show, especially since I never read the comics. Would be a 10 if Rick was there the whole time, so I'll give it an 8.5/10 3. Season 3. Introduction of the most iconic place in TWD universe, the prison. Loved how they discovered amputation as a solution to getting bit in action with Hershel, who becomes one of the strongest characters this season. The Governor is evil and hatable. Only thing holding back this season at imo is that many of our characters are struggling mentally, which can be hard to watch. 3x4 is an amazing episode but the hallucinations Rick experiences afterwards is hard to watch, and the tension between Glenn and Maggie is sad after what they went through. Really had to nitpick to find things I didn't like, so I'll give it a 9.2/10. 2. Season 5. Savage Rick. Nuff said. JK but the cast is at its strongest in season 5. There's not a single character in our group (other than Noah and maybe Gabriel, who we love later) that we would be indifferent to if they died. Beth and Tyrese's deaths were heartbreaking and frustrating, and as Ty said, the hospital arc is the only thing holding back this season for me. Love the escape from Terminus and the brutality when dispatching of them. Love the arc of coming to Alexandria as well, and realizing that these people are cut from a different cloth. Hospital scenes are annoying, but not enough to drag down this season any further. 9.5/10 1. Season 4 Everything is perfectly done in this season. Reminds us how important modern medicine has become, and it created a really eerie and unsettling dynamic that anyone could get sick, die, and turn into a walker at any time. 4x8 is another one of the best episodes of the show, but honestly 4B is what makes this season #1. I love the different arcs as our survivors end up making their way towards Terminus. It's heartbreaking but enthralling to see how Carl, Rick, and Michonne are all struggling in their own ways in 4x9. Introduction of Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita huge plus. Love the Daryl and Beth moments. And one of, if not my favorite moment of the entire show is when Rick bites Joe's throat out. Only critique I have of this season is that I don't think 2 full governor episodes were necessary, but they were still good, I just skip them upon rewatch. Just about perfect season 9.8/10
For me it’s 7, 8, 10, 11, 6, 1, 9, 4, 5, 3, 2. I know 2 is a bit of a hot take, but the Shane story is just so good. It’s engaging the entire time even in the slow moments. I think the fan base has this mental image of 2 being slow because that was the way it was talked about after season 1 which has 0 slow moments in its 6 episodes, also season 3 is very fast paced by TWD standards so that also made 2 look slower in comparison. If you look back at all the other seasons, 2 isn’t slow in comparison. Yes, there’s a bit of drag on the Sophia story. But season 5 dragged on the hospital, 4 had a few dragging episodes with the governor and the Daryl and Beth looking for alcohol episode, 6 drug out the “is Glenn dead” thing but was generally faster paced in a similar way to season 3, I don’t think I need to explain seasons 7, 8, 10 and 11. So I don’t think holding season 2 to a higher standard because it was sandwiched between 2 of the fastest seasons is fair to it. It retained the grounded vibes of season 1 while expanding on it, gave us an amazing arc with Rick, Shane and Lori, and built up Glenn, Daryl and Maggie in great ways.
For me: 11.) Season 8 10.) Season 10 09.) Season 3 08.) Season 11 07.) Season 7 06.) Season 5 05.) Season 9 04.) Season 4 03.) Season 6 02.) Season 2 01.) Season 1
@@JarinCOD Season 3 is good with plenty of great/classic moments, but I can't help but feel disappointed by it. I'm a massive fan of the comic and nearly everything Season 3 does pales in comparison to it.
@@JarinCOD Most people who have only watched the show tend to really love Season 3, which I understand, but to me, it feels like a greatly watered down version of the comic.
Season 7 is where I tapped out. I wasn’t a fan of the comic (or comics in general). The Kingdom and especially the stupid CGI tiger did it for me. I started watching again in season 11 and I actually liked it once the Reaper arc ended. I especially liked the variants and that made the walkers a serious threat again Favorites? Seasons 1,2, 4 and 5. I like the more grounded storylines , personally. I hated season 3 for the most part
I didn't like Carl's character at all. I found him annoying, preachy and just his entire character was a pain from season 1. I also think JDM plays Negan incredibly well. I cannot think of a better actor to play the role, he really made it his own and he was a great villain. Totally agree on the garbage people, their biggest sin is that they were boring to watch, very similar to Oceanside.
Steven Ogg in theory. He played Trevor in GTA V and he’s known for playing these kind of crazy characters who are broken yet naive characters, which is what Negan is in the comics. Negan in the show is a bit too normal. Not broken and crazy, just cruel and calculating.
@@gfilmer7150 I think it would have been far worse if Negan was like he was in the comics. Removes a lot of the nuance. Throughout the show, there was a constant drive for the viewer to empathise with Negan, to understand him. It worked well. Comic book Negan should be killed, immediately, as soon as they have opportunity. It's like a Jedi vs Sith scenario, which is a lot less interesting.
@@Zantonny Funny you say that because the show made Negan far more worse. They show him stealing everything he wants from Alexandria instead of half, he takes their guns, tortures Daryl, needlessly kills Olivia, kills a Doctor which goes completely against his people are a resource rule as does his more vindictive punishment of Rick and co, and he’s more willing to break his rules by almost killing Carl in Season 7’s finale and we’re told he killed another teenager to get Hilltop in check. Season 7 constantly has him so bad thing after bad thing, and portray it as a calculating move instead of that crazy naive mindset Comic Negan had.
Amazing 1. Season 5 2. Season 4 3. Season 6 4. Season 2 Good 5. Season 9 6. Season 7 7. Season 11 8. Season 1 9. Season 3 Ok 10. Season 10 Bad. Only a couple good episodes 11. Season 8
1-4 are the best. I've reached them over 10b times. Once I get to s4 ending I go back to s1 instead of watching s5. Too many relatable characters died. The ones remained are all rambo types. Realistic but Not very interesting.
For me the first 6 are the best in that order, each season presents a new issue so i cant in good will say it got better each season, the highs got higher and the lows got lower, ricks character is the only thing that keeps going up to me, s1 atmosphere is killed off in season 2, season 2s pacing is killed in season 3, season 3s main character deaths killed in season 4 (plot armour aside from hershel), season 4s side character writing killed in season 5 (sasha, tyreese, beth?? Tara..), and season 5s main character writing died in seasom 6 (daryls whole rando, rage and hunting dwight to push the saviors story, and carols horrible crisis moments and morgan..ricks peak as usual though
Season 7 and 8 are the only season where when ever I am showing someone them for the first time I skip certain episodes because I know it's not going to negatively impact my friends viewing experience whatsoever because I know that those episodes are pointless. Without a doubt I always skip the episodes "swear". The episode based entirely on Tara finding ocean side. Widely regarded as the worst episode in the entire show and for good reason. Nobody cares about Tara and ocean side is the worst group in the show so to have a whole episode centered on those 2 things is insulting. I always skip it and I just tell the person "basically Tara finds a group called ocean side who the saviors terrorized in the past and they make Tara promise not to tell anyone about them and then she gets back home and also Keith does missing". I save my friend an hour of their life in the process lol
I'm Bing watching all of them I'm up to season eight an I found nothing wrong with seven is it becuase I'm binging it I actually really loved season seven an I'm sure I'll feel the same about season eight also I was way more gutted Abraham died not so much Glen just shows how everyone has difdernt taste
Man I’ll stand by it too haha. Tbh I’m not the biggest fan of either seasons, but season 10 atleast has my favourite villain group in the whisperers, season 11 has a pretty solid middle, but I outright despise the first part, and was underwhelmed by the last part.
@@Swell-Films I think why i disagree is because I like the style of season 11 more than 10 but that negan episode in season 10 is the best twd episode i think of all time

As a non comic reader, hearing the walkers talk was one of the disturbing moments of the show and jesus death was so good and shocking. And the pike scene.....
Season 7&8 are good if you have never seen the show before and you can binge watch it. But going from week to week then those season drag out and the Saviours ark went on FAR TOOOOO LONG!
I agree, they are much better when bingeing, but they still seem to loose my attention around the midway mark of each season. The length of the ark alone has had me put off a saviour video for so long lol.
The walking dead feels like a punishment for enjoying a show. Oh you like it? Well here we are going to do episode structure to 1 good episode a month. Oh you think you can still like it. Ok let's make this 1 good show into a bunch of bad shows. You should know better than to enjoy this
Bro it’s the walking dead universe we watch the show for the concept and some arch’s, they start and stop, we loose characters we love to grow the show we love, with additions on new characters
Yeah I can tell u just say that cuz directors women or just cuz Rick gone 😂😂. Nah dude that season was good asf and the last good season of walking dead 7-8 trash 10-11 mid for what they had . Season 9 had good story show felt different no more stupid dialogue they talk like actual people . I thought season would be trash without watching it but then I actually did and I notice Scott gimple is so dog shit at writing 💀 Jesus pretty sure the comic booker writer of th show was baby sitting him while time until he left the show in season 7 and we started noticing his writing

They thought it'd be a good idea to send one of the only voices Siddiq might recognize (Dante) behind enemy lines? 10B was pretty solid, but the whisperer "war" was a bit anti-climactic. 10C (bonus episodes) were unbelievably boring. Judith and Negan honestly carry this season 5/10
10. Season 11. Some gems in there and I liked the commonwealth arc but the reapers felt completely unnecessary. 6/10
8. I love 7B, especially 7x16. 7/10
4. Would be a 10 if Rick was there the whole time, so I'll give it an 8.5/10
For me:
11.) Season 8

@@JarinCOD Season 3 is good with plenty of great/classic moments, but I can't help but feel disappointed by it. I'm a massive fan of the comic and nearly everything Season 3 does pales in comparison to it.
@@joshuanelson6795 Ok that makes sense. I know only the show.
@@JarinCOD Most people who have only watched the show tend to really love Season 3, which I understand, but to me, it feels like a greatly watered down version of the comic.
I gotta say. Season 3 by far is my least liked season. I never liked the whole governor storyline. It always felt boring and it was a pain to get thru
I do agree with what u said about Negan he should've been someone bigger and bulkier like comic book negan

For me the Telltale Games blow this show out of the water. It would be awesome if you covered them on the channel!
Bad arguments for putting s6 so low
Season 7 is where I tapped out. I wasn’t a fan of the comic (or comics in general). The Kingdom and especially the stupid CGI tiger did it for me. I started watching again in season 11 and I actually liked it once the Reaper arc ended. I especially liked the variants and that made the walkers a serious threat again
Favorites? Seasons 1,2, 4 and 5. I like the more grounded storylines , personally. I hated season 3 for the most part
Good list I had season 2 and 4 in my top 3
Kids are annoying . Preachy ? That eveyone at one point in this show of Scott gimple

1-4 are the best. I've reached them over 10b times. Once I get to s4 ending I go back to s1 instead of watching s5. Too many relatable characters died. The ones remained are all rambo types. Realistic but Not very interesting.
season two was ok but i feel it should have been like a 6 maybe 7 at most
Season 1 was a jumping off point, it was to shoe that they could do a series
Season 8 is the worst because the "action" AT WAR is absolutely trash.
finally somebody that thinks 7 was worse than 8
Agree. Season 9 was absolutely amazing!!
Great vid as always, love to hear your opinions and see a new format! :)
+ nice to see your pretty face *kith*😘
Agree with season 7 but jdm was brilliant as Negan.
He definitely made the character his own, but in terms of an adaptation, he’s just not exactly what I was picturing with comic negan
to be honest season 4 was extremely slow and boring and is the worst of the "good" seasons
Pamela Milton was evil, jeah right.. I saw that from the first scene with her..... ;-)
I'm Bing watching all of them I'm up to season eight an I found nothing wrong with seven is it becuase I'm binging it I actually really loved season seven an I'm sure I'll feel the same about season eight also I was way more gutted Abraham died not so much Glen just shows how everyone has difdernt taste
bruh u fr put season 11 below 10 is crazy
Man I’ll stand by it too haha. Tbh I’m not the biggest fan of either seasons, but season 10 atleast has my favourite villain group in the whisperers, season 11 has a pretty solid middle, but I outright despise the first part, and was underwhelmed by the last part.
@@Swell-Films I think why i disagree is because I like the style of season 11 more than 10 but that negan episode in season 10 is the best twd episode i think of all time
The first 3 seasons, the ones who live and Daryl Dixon are amazing the rest suck in my opinion
1, 5, 6, 3, 4. The rest are pretty much equal.
So handsome on the face cam 😍
for me the worst season ever is 4, but 8,7,11 are the best for me...i remember watching season 4 with 2x speed because it was worthless alot
I dont like season 8 because almost every episode is to here shoot some people go here shoot more people

i have to agree with you with season 9, the most complete season with excitement and fear. As a non comic reader, hearing the walkers talk was one of the disturbing moments of the show and jesus death was so good and shocking. And the pike scene.....
don’t worry guys…its coming
#SaviorsVid
Always holding me accountable 😭
Season 7&8 are good if you have never seen the show before and you can binge watch it. But going from week to week then those season drag out and the Saviours ark went on FAR TOOOOO LONG!
I agree, they are much better when bingeing, but they still seem to loose my attention around the midway mark of each season.
The length of the ark alone has had me put off a saviour video for so long lol.
Still not good can’t remember shit about this 😂beside 2 episode in each sesosn boring asf
you look exactly how i thought you would
Wow really I put season 10 at my nr 1 spot and season 8 much higher as well.
Season 9 highkey ass
5 is the best then 4 then 6 my opinion
Solid list!
Carol, Morgan, introducing a new community, King Ezekiel, Jerry, a tiger...
This guy - "bottle episode"
🤷♀️ not enough substance for single episodes
Never rank again
i really really loved season 11
The walking dead feels like a punishment for enjoying a show. Oh you like it? Well here we are going to do episode structure to 1 good episode a month. Oh you think you can still like it. Ok let's make this 1 good show into a bunch of bad shows. You should know better than to enjoy this
Bro it’s the walking dead universe we watch the show for the concept and some arch’s, they start and stop, we loose characters we love to grow the show we love, with additions on new characters
Season 9 was the worst season I have ever seen
Yeah I can tell u just say that cuz directors women or just cuz Rick gone 😂😂. Nah dude that season was good asf and the last good season of walking dead 7-8 trash 10-11 mid for what they had . Season 9 had good story show felt different no more stupid dialogue they talk like actual people . I thought season would be trash without watching it but then I actually did and I notice Scott gimple is so dog shit at writing 💀 Jesus pretty sure the comic booker writer of th show was baby sitting him while time until he left the show in season 7 and we started noticing his writing
You’re out of your mind if you think negan is casted bad

Season 11 was so good just stop
