Every season has stuff i enjoy and i agree I do think Carl's death was done well but i do also believe that it was a mistake to kill him off, i loved the ending as well
Very cool ranking! Here's my ranking: 1. Season 6 2. Season 4 3. Season 5 4. Season 11 5. Season 2 6. Season 3 7. Season 7 8. Season 1 9. Season 10 10. Season 9 11. Season 8
Incredible list! My absolute favorite episode of the show is Internment as Hershel is my favorite character by far and the Flu arc was insanely scary. Other favorites include Better Angels, Too Far Gone, The Grove and Besides the Dying Fire. Likely will not shock you that Season 4 is my favorite!
I want to know what you would think about this. What if they arranged season 6 so that the current finale was actually the 15th episode. Then everyone had to wait a week to see who he killed. Then the season 7 premiere is the finale, where the season ends as Rick and the group goes home after Glenn and Abe’s death
Love all the seasons, big fan, so here's my definitive ranking: 1. Season 9 2. Season 8 3. Season 6 4. Season 10 5. Season 4 6. Season 11 7. Season 7 8. Season 5 9. Season 3 10. Season 2 11. Season 1 Top 3 episodes: 1. 7x01 The Day Will Come When You Won't Be 2. 9x05 What Comes After 3. 11x24 Rest in Peace
Most people despise Tyrese's death episode. That's one of my all time favorites. I love the fever dream hallucinations brought to life by the entire art department. If I were a filmmaker, that's the sort of work I would strive for... and effortlessly shrug off the haters that say otherwise! Glad you gave it some love. Ranking: 11. 10 (I feel like this one needs the most revisit for me. I don't even hate on the bonus episodes really. Just feels like a super-sized season with only 2 big events: Alpha's death and Here's Negan) 10. 8 (I never really minded that Carl died. Chandler is an okay actor, likeable but just okay. The bloodbath of Ezekiel's crew was amazing! Rick and Morgan in murder mode together was amazing! Eugene saving the day was predictable but it was the way to go. Otherwise, it is a trying collection of episodes.) 9. 11 (A was Average. B was Better. C was Classic) 8. 1 (I really can't say anything bad about it. I don't invest in long run seasons of any show anymore, at least not as some bingeworthy bullsh!t pedestal. So, 1 does it for me pretty well. Stellar first and second episodes, settling into the spotlight after that to nail down details and sew seeds.) 7. 7 (I can say plenty about this season that slowed it down... but the payoffs were always worth it I thought. Great episodes 1, 8, 9 and 16. Four pillars to an underrated season. Amazing Morgan moments peppered in.) 6. 9 (I love this season. I think it's a bit overrated though. Rick's final episode threw in the kitchen sink, that's for sure. The time jump was great and allowed a palate cleanser. The Whisperers were initially scary and getting to see Alpha's cruelty to her own was well established. I never invested in Henry though so by the pike reveal, I was just glad it was him instead of Ezekiel.) 5. 6 (I would have liked to spend more time with The Wolves. Carol was top notch the whole season. Despite being wishy-washy her depth was so pronounced. Love Morgan's rewind. E9 is bombastic af. Not Tomorrow Yet shows our heroes as enemies. And I LOVE the finale/cliffhanger. Sue me! Still just good enough to get this high.) 4. 2 (I love the farm. People give the first half a lot of shade... but they were still doing what we would be doing in the real world - looking for a lost little girl. Glenn propelled from unassuming every guy to guy other guys want to be. Shane was lights out all season. Hershel earned respect. Dale put in first classic character death. Finale was top notch. The pacing hampered parts, for sure, but there was always a purpose.) 3. 3 (Life in prison never looked so inviting. This season felt like the juggernaut it was quickly becoming. It wasn't perfect but the episodes that cooked were using every knob on the stove.) 2. 4 (In Full Fvcking Stride. The sickness arc WAS beginning to overstay its welcome. Hershel's heroics made it count though. Switching gears to "Brian" was fun and that mid season finale still slaps. Second half of season? Perfect, except for teeny bopper Beth who wondered in off the set of a John Hughes movie.) 1. 5 (Feral, wirey bearded Rick with the red machete! Still too much Beth but whatever, at least she died. Let's see... E1, yes please. Four Walls and a Roof, damn right! The surprise of another B-list star dying in E9, nice. Eating wild dog meat before surviving a wild storm only to meet a well kept Aaron... interview videos in Alexandria. More death and distrust. Morgan at the end...) Okay, I'm done now.
I liked the idea of the smarter walkers but they should've introduced the idea way earlier in the season coz as it stands, the variants felt like a last minute addition with missed potential sadly, hopefully we see more of them in the spinoffs tho
A good list. Here’s mine: 11. Season 7 (very slow plot and no longer felt like a zombie show) 10.Season 8 (same issue as season 7) 9. Season 1 8. Season 11 7. Season 10 6. Season 4 5. Season 3 4. Season 9 3. Season 2 2. Season 5 1. Season 6
I would argue that any of the seasons didn’t have filler, and I don’t think there is a clear best TWD season, though I would mostly agree with your list. The show’s prime for me was seasons 3-6.
Amazing video friend, keep up the good work! Here's my ranking 1. Season 5 2. Season 9 3. Season 6 4. Season 3 5. Season 4 6. Season 11 7. Season 2 8. Season 1 9. Season 10 10. Season 8 11. Season 7
Seasons 2 3 and 4 made everyone fall in love with the show and then season 5 benefited from that…which is why it has the highest ratings But season 5 isn’t that great after the first 2 episodes
I disagree. Season 5 outside of the hospital arc was one of the best. Having savage rick lead the group and slowly take over Alexandria was great. Season 6 was almost as great. Season 2 was horrible. One of the worst seasons back in the day for how slow it was. Season 3 though is easily a top 3 or top 5 along with season 4.
1. Season 5. Just Phenomenal. The most different from the graphic novels but you can really see how much everyone was changed from season 1. Especially Rick, Glenn, and Carl. 2. Season 6. Best plot Season. First half dealing with a walker horde. 2nd half dealing with the saviors. And that cliff hanger. 3. Season 11 Part 1. First 2 ep amazing. The Daryl and Leah plot is entertaining. And the introduction to the commonwealth was awesome. 4. Season 9. First 5 ep Amazing. The whisperers were terrifying. The side characters like Judith, Henry, Lydia, and and Connie were all entertaining. 5. Season 11 Part 3. The end of an amazing show. Every character had a time to shine. And screw Sebastien, Pamela, and Hornby. 6. Season 10. Builds off the momentum of season 9. Both Alpha and Beta were great. And ep 16 was an amazing 'finale' for the season. 7. Season 11 Part 2. Great character development, especially mercer. A great ending to the Daryl and Leah plot. And an amazing villain in Hornsby. 8. Season 4. I know, an odd pick. Amazing things in this Season. The prison fight, Hershel's death, the Grove, Rick bitting Joe. Nothing really wrong with season 4, I just like the remaining seasons more. 9. Season 3. Controversial but the prison setting was good. The governor was a great villain. And this is where the show starts to get is its groove. 10. Season 8. Action packed. But for some reason the war felt way to long for the season. RIP Carl 11. Season 7. A bigger necessary evil. But set up good storylines for the seasons 8 and 9. And RIP Glenn and Abraham 12. Season 2. A necessary evil. But the 2nd half is pretty good. 13. Season 1. Start of the show. Had to lay the ground work. 14. Season 10 ep 17-22 injoyable but made during covid.
this is one of the best ranked videos on twd I have ever seen keep up the good work
Thankyou I appreciate that :)
I loved all Seasons

thats a fair ranking to be honest
Everyone loves season 5 because it was at its peak in popularity and that time is nostalgic…but it’s super overrated…that hospital story was terrible
Disagree, Episode 1-3 were great and them finding Alexandria and slowly taking over it was great.
