I don't like Nintendo's decisions either but save your comments for elsewhere. And do you think Nintendo reads the comments on their videos, especially this one? Absolutely not. The average Nintendo fan will never have the power to influence Nintendo and their decisions. Let's just enjoy this interesting and fun looking game made by Rogue Sun.
If anything, they should write a polite e-mail to Nintendo, but that doesn't get easy outrage upvotes.
I also feel bad for the devs, because they seem hyped about having it release, only to be met with unrelated comments. But I guess many indie devs share that experience.
I finished the game over the weekend and currently trying to get all medals that I missed. It's such a wonderful game. Perfect break from the action/RPG games I usually play.

This is my reaction to almost every trailer that comes out now.

That's why i actually thumbed this trailer down. Zero gameplay to even get me interested on lil alone sell it to me.
You manipulate the tin soldiers to get to their goals. This can be done with toy blocks, rewinding time, balloons for floating etc. It gets you scratching your head and thinking, but never leaves you struggling. If you have ever played Lemmings or Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem you will know the sort of puzzles it has. The second part is a victorian era narrative led story that will break your heart.

Games shown on Nintendo's UA-cam usually aren't actually from Nintendo. Most of their games are the well known ones really (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, DK, Kirby etc. There's a few small ones like Arms and Snipper Clips to though)

Game was meant to be played in VR. Not everyone has that. Much of the needed information was in a tiny hud below my FOV. Which makes the game much more difficult than it needs to be. Controls are sluggish and cumbersome. There should be an option to remap them. Was looking forward to this game for some time but it turned out being nothing like I expected.

I was here for the anti-establishment, anti-woke, pro-human messaging the advertising put front and center. It's a type of game that emphasizes the story, and it is clearly attempting to tackle real-world contemporary and near-future issues.
This game could have been pro-human, anti-automation, and anti-monopoly while remaining relatively a-political. They have chosen to tackle real-world social and political issues, so it is fair to evaluate it from that perspective.
If it IS irony, it has not "paid off" in the short period I have played the game. I would like to fully evaluate the message of the game, but I want to stay under the 2 hour refund limit.
The main character calls the color pink sexist, and a Trump doll "What an a--hole", they toy a little with masculine/feminine pronouns of robots. This is all within the first hour.
Did they really put real world political stuff in this game? I was really wanting to play it to escape from the real world. I was so excited to play this. 😢

Lol people are going to buy the game and it's going to be like pokemon Scarlet and Violet all over again lol.
Crummy story, obnoxious main character, and the most atrocious difficulty spikes you'll ever see in a narrative game. Doing two hacking minigames on a timer while avoiding enemies that one-shot you if they see you was so infuriating I wanted to uninstall. The stealth in general is terrible on top of being horribly tedious. The endings are also all underwhelming. The voice acting is good despite the script being cringey, but the only other thing I liked about this game was that one of the products is a Mr Show reference. Other than that, the game doesn't do anything well and I regret playing it.
Hard pass, but I'm glad Baby Boomers has a game for their generation to look back on and remember lol
Very unpretty, those are some of the lowest effort jump and combat animations I've ever seen.
