WOW! Is that true ! I was disgusted with my golf swing this year. One bad round after another. Two weeks ago I just forgot all about the golf videos and went out and just swung the damn club! Best two weeks of golf this year.
shavedhead78, I would say that Moe Norman played as a Side-On, Low-Track (close to mid), Vertical Wrist Lever Action (with forearm roll that sets and transitions the clubface on-plane), and a Cornering Lever Delivery Action. Rear Anchor, Torso-Plane Slotter, Deep-Deep Arc Management, Post-Up Postural Release (eventhough it is a unique version), Thrower. Those are just the ones that come to mind when I think of his swing.
EA, If I am seeing a On Top, High Track, Horizontal Hinger, Rear Linkage and Covering Delivery would that player tend to "feel" that the left elbow works more left post extention? I just gave a player that concept and their strikes really improved or is that just a very individual thing. Plus is your book available for the iPad? What you and Mike are doing is really amazing and I'm grateful for your openness to share these great concepts. Cheers.
That is a very viable pattern. Most On-Top golfers will have the lead elbow retract back after extension. Some will fold the arms more up in front, however even those golfers will feel the lead elbow move back and around, it only happens later. If you order the Secrets Of Owning Your Swing ebooks directly off my website through paypal I email you the books in a pdf form that can be view on ipad with any pdf reader and can be read in ibooks. From my website they are also full color ebooks instead of black and white. Thank you for your comments we hope we are helping improve the way coaching/instruction is viewed and presented.
Hi Ea, do on top golfers have less forward shaft lean at impact since they lose their lag quicker than side on golfers and under golfers? Oh and in one video you said that you can't release it early enough, but I assume you imply it only applies when the golfer reaches his linkage point. Like an on top golfer can feel like he releases from the top of the backswing, a under golfer needs to wait a bit?
+Burning Zeal In general I would say yes, however we have to realize that the Swing Path of the aspects that influence how much forward lean a golfer will have approaching impact. There are structural influences, dynamic influences and functional influences.

So what do you think is better for us old men thanks
I notice that you don't seem to keep the clubhead above/outside your hands in the backswing. Is there a reason for this?

I have a low track golf swing.
