I bought the same saddle but need to get the sticks and stand soon and start to practice soon
Alright I’ve used this saddle all year and I can’t seem to get comfy I have adjusted everything but one adjustment! You never really hit on it but u touched it a couple times that bottom adjustment that ties into the bridge! What does that do? Mine is tight and I think it’s causing hip pinch as well!
I’ve been throwing around the idea of saddle hunting, my only hang up was safety but after watching you upside down I’ll definitely order the bundle you recommended. Thanks for the great content
Trust me I was in the same boat! Feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions!
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors Most definitely. I’ve learned a lot from your videos, by far one of the most informative channels I’ve come across. If your ever in south ms let me know I got some property I’d love to set up a hunt
I just sent my XOP back to Amazon, and ordered this saddle. I'm looking forward to trying this saddle out. Thanks for the review.
Anytime! Thank you for watching!
Bought me one at Mack's this week ready to get in the woods and try it out. May run my LW hand climber top as a climbing aid. May go to the one stick method later on. Thanks for the review!
Yes sir anytime! Let us know how you like it!
So Clifton, really need to know this or the JX3 that I watched you go on and on about. Its all good if this is better I just would like to know, thanks.
I think they are both great…. Each item is a tool for light weight this for comfort the JX3
My Covert Lite saddle and EDP platform should be delivered this week. I'm stoked to have another option to hang from the tree. The lighter setup will allow me to get a little deeper into the woods.
You will love them! It’s a great combo!
I am new to saddle hunting , the popular saddle I bought is not comfortable, I’m constantly trying to adjust it, this may be what I need … thank you
Any time! You have any questions feel free to ask!
I have been looking at the trophy line bundle and I would love to get one and try it out but it’s definitely a lot of $$$ to get into it but from what I have seen it seems like it’s worth it but definitely would buy the Trophy line bundle if I do get into saddle hunting
Is certainly one of the best bang for the buck!
Hey brother can you do a video on how you pack your gear on the bag I tried but seemed like it wasn’t the right way couldn’t even get in the pockets it was so tight
Do you have the cays 2.0 boss?
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors yes sir
Clifton you should try the "Flat Branch Outdoors" saddle.
Absolutely the most comfortable saddle I've sat in. Made in USA and you can't beat the price. Check it out, I think you will be impressed. Take care and keep up with the quality videos.
Thank you! I’ll look into them for sure!
How does this saddle do with saddle sagging??
I’ve seen guys talking ins about the saddle sag but I personally havnt experienced or noticed it in any of the saddles I’ve reviewed yet
you think when it gets later season... and you're dressed in your hunter gear ... you'll still be comfy in the saddle?
I believe so or at least in this saddle it’s got so many adjustments I can back it out!
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors well ill be practicing w my gear... need tk go buy the sticks and stand. are you using the trophy line sticks and stand also ?? I'm lucky I have a friend who's a professional arborist so he's teaching me more about diff ways to climb
@@wildman8601 yes sir I bought the bundle it came with the saddle sticks platform and the cats 2.0 backpack
I just can’t get into facing the tree the whole time, I would love to have one but I can’t bring myself to spend that kinda money on something that I may not even enjoy
Trust me I completely agree! It’s a tool to me definitely not a end all be all! However late season with less foliage on the trees being able to be in the back side of the tree and shoot around is certainly a plus
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors are you coming to the world deer expo in Birmingham al in august ?
I’m certainly going to try!
So I’m 33 years old and took up saddle hunting last year halfway through my season. It felt really odd the first couple hunts after 20 years of sitting in a traditional stand/lockon. The more and more I went the more and more I liked it. There’s plenty of options so I recommend doing your research prior to buying but it’s definitely worth the transition especially if your a self filming.
