    I am wonder about one sticking and the EWO UP and the new bottom step that you gave us a sneak peak of? What does it do for us beginners? Does it push the aider out away from the tree a lot further? Is it more comfortable while climbing? Is it easier for setting stick? Just lots of questions I know but you are the absolute best information out for One Sticking. Thank you

    I've never used an openable bridge, I know you love that option. How do you get the carabiner to stay set in the lineman loop? Does it just find it's place automatically? I'd like to order this saddle but honestly that's my one hangup. On my past few saddles i like to be able to adjust the bridge to help adjust for comfort. Thanks!

    • @StaggsintheWild
      @StaggsintheWild  2 роки тому

      It just naturally centers itself. I have a video on how to build your own openable bridge, and at the end I give a couple options so you can put the carabiner where you’d like, yet still retain the ability to open it. What I’ve found though is most people adjust it to where it would have centered without the extra stuff.
      But if you wanted to, you could add the prusik/Schwabisch or whatever to the bridge loop to provide that adjustability I show in that video while retaining the ability to open quite easily.

    Hey I would appreciate your opinion on which saddle you would choose, either the Curzr XC or the Venatic? I had my heart set on the XC until I came across the Venatic.

    • @StaggsintheWild
      @StaggsintheWild  Рік тому

      Honestly depends on if you want an expanding seat or not, and if you’re trying to whittle out every single ounce you can. The Venatic is other-worldly light, and on par with the XC from a comfort standpoint. The Cruzr saddle might be a bit heavier-duty if you’re planning on busting through a bunch of brush and briars.

    Ugh, I'm just trying to get into hunting out of a saddle and you've done very favorable reviews of my top 3 saddle choices 🙄
    Very well done reviews by the way, don't know how I'm going to choose between the Cruzr XC, Trophyline Venatic, and the TX5 Lonestar....

    Nice video. TL should have folded those lineman’s loops and sewed them.

    • @StaggsintheWild

      They’re both super-comfy … just have to decide if you want more of a “minimalist” feel with the super-light, single-panel design of the Venatic or more of a “cradled” feel with the pleated XC.

      @@BukTeef7 they’re very close. It’s going to boil down to personal preference in what you’re looking for. I’m more of a non-pleated guy myself, but there’s tons of people out there who prefer that feature.

      I ended up buying a venatic. Do you have concerns about the durability of the ripstop fabric? Seems super thin. Lot of brush and thorns where I hunt. May return and buy a cruzr xc. Thanks again

    Is it me or is the black material kinda shinny? Are you also the onestinger arrow wrap guy? I've ordered them a bunch over the years. Thanks for all the great info!!

      It's not that bad in reality; if you were REALLY concerned about it, you could rub some dirt on it, LOL... No, I'm not the owner of Onestringer but they are good friends of mine so I wear their apparel a lot in my videos. Of course, I've exclusively used their wraps as well for almost two decades.

    The material sounds a little loud, not the buckles but the rubberized material and body almost like a wind breaker, is it quiet when on

    • @StaggsintheWild

      @StaggsintheWild  2 роки тому +1

    • @ShaneBolerHunting
      @ShaneBolerHunting 2 роки тому

      @@StaggsintheWild man, hard decision. I’m leaning toward the tx5 due to the camo patterns, but the venatic is super light and comfortable. It’s hard trying to sell this tethed saddle. I guess there’s just so many more quality saddles now, resale is tough.

    • @StaggsintheWild
      @StaggsintheWild  2 роки тому +1

      @@ShaneBolerHunting Seriously... either one will fit all those categories. The Venatic will be lighter; the TX5 will have a sturdier feel. The TX5 comes with a better rope bridge, for what it's worth, and I like the Cobra buckles on the TX5 better, especially the leg straps.

    How does the TL venatic fit in comparison to jean waist sizes? I am a 36 waist in jeans and was curious what size I should consider to wear over bibs in cold but not b baggy in warmer weather early season hunts?

    • @StaggsintheWild

    id rather just have sewn-in aluminum triglides and double back the webbing than use all them fancy buckles on most newer saddles, they are simpler, lighter, less expensive, and are more then strong enough.
