- RVZ015: This is an old favorite of mine, on an album of Motown hits that we played often. Enjoy!

Yes!
Thanks! It turned out well...
Patently Stevie, but not as difficult as a lot of his other material. 😉
Great to sing but not as high or dramatic of vocals...
Wooooo! Modulation after modulation after… I think I need to go watch a breakdown video of this song. Later!
It's so good...a longtime favorite of my childhood!
@@RVZNKaraoke IMO this is a difficult song to sing. All those key changes. Key changes that last only two beats but have vocals over them… whew
@@demian8439 Yeah, it's three singers...so when I first pulled the lead, it only pulled Stevie and left the first two in. So, I pulled all vocals and selectively added the backing sounds. I guess I am so familiar with the song that I don't notice the changes so much. Good catch!
@@RVZNKaraoke The breakdown video I watched mentioned that the first line is sung by the guy who sang the Good Times TV theme song.
@@demian8439 Sounds like it. And her voice? Is that the neighbor from Good Times who was also a singer?
