    I love this guy. It's like he loaded all the words he wanted to say into his mouth before he started and he just lets that shit fall out however the hell it wants. He don't give two shits.

    Everyone's different. I've been working out with dumbbells all my adult life and never felt like I made progress, I just didn't get it. A year of working with kettlebells and I actually got strength and size which is significant since I'm 59 and find myself building more muscle than when I was younger. Maybe it was just that I found the dumbbells repetitive and boring and was just never coached. Regardless, kettlebells changed me. Thanks for this video.

    Bought this for my youngest to develop basic form for single hand kettlebell work. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxtaDAl93XF8wxJhssTtjIFjzid82wglva It has a nice grip on it, just a little rough so it isn't slippery. I was doing a few rotator cuff exercises to test and worked well for those movements I'd been doing with a regular dumbbell. Cool thing you can do is hold it in your hand for door-knob turns to work the forearm and grip. Note: it's small, almost all handle, but that's what I expected given the weight. Smallest I've worked with before is 15lbs, so it was kind of funny to see the difference 10lbs makes.

    Not a terrbile video relative to where you want to end up but no explanation as to how to get there. The guy asking the question had that bell flipping over creating that bang on the forearms. Best tips I've seen to avoid that is set the bell with the handle parallel to your stance not perpendicular, reach down and grab the bell with your thumb facing backwards and your palm facing your leg on the same side, then think about zipping and unzipping a coat. The bell should more rotate around your wrist instead of going over the top and banging into your forearm.

    Being barefoot around a bunch of heavy weights doesn’t seem like a very bright idea.
    Then again, I’m a retired ballet dancer. I’ve spent almost a lifetime guarding my feet and keeping them safe.

    • @stefanwolf8558
      @stefanwolf8558 9 років тому +1

      +Aves Raggiana I get your point but a shoe won't protect your foot from the impact of a solid steel kettlebell. The best way to stay safe is just to be smart and don't drop it.

    The guy with Che on his shirt? Yeah, apparently he’s not a reader otherwise he’d know all he was was nothing more than a lackey for Castro, killing innocents. And eventually Castro even got tired of him and sent him off so he could do the world a favor and die. The guy in this video with that shirt - hope he haunted by the screams of the dead when he sleeps, like drunken banshees alone and lost in the woods.
    I digress. Good instruction. Well done. Carry on. As you were.
