In the year 1581, the strength of the Takeda Clan faded together with the passing of Shingen. Despite a valiant effort by Katsuyori Takeda, the hearts and minds of the Takeda followers began to wander.
It was then that Nobunaga Oda accepted an offer from Shingen's son-in-law, Yoshimasa Kiso, to defect. This was the beginning of Nobunaga's invasion of Kai.
Kagekatsu Uesugi in the Hokuriku region and Terumoto Mōri in the Chūgoku region both rose to fight against Nobunaga.
Was there anybody who could stop Nobunaga's onslaught? And would Katsuyori be able to restore the former glory of the Takeda name? The land was about to learn the answer...
