Well, the vast majority of liquid metals are also unpleasantly hot. Liquid mercury could be cooler than room temperature, so it really is the toxic part you should worry about.
You definitely shouldn't eat it, and I'm pretty sure there are cumulative long term dangers of handling it. But whatever skeletonized that guy in moments was not just room temperature mercury. That was less like lead poisoning and more like a mafia euphemism where you shoot a guy hundreds of times and say he died of "lead poisoning."

If you still want horror suggestions, may I suggest Killer Frequency? You play as a Late Night DJ who’s had 911 redirected to him all while there’s a cereal killer on the prowl. I don’t really want to say more than that, but it’s one of those short but brilliantly polished and complete games that might be good for a stream or series.
I kinda wish NetherRealm had a jokey "Monetization Mode" cheat where blood would be replaced by confetti or cotton stuffing or something. Just make it look like ripping teddy bears in half, lol. Just another jokey thing to do like Friendships and Babalities as a response to certain powers-that-be that have a problem with the violence.

Haven't played any Mortal Kombat games so far, but it mostly felt like a movie while watching the stream. As a Mortal Kombat outsider, I actually enjoyed a 3,5 hour video of the cutscenes all sewn together into a movie. If you judge it as a movie, I might as well experience it as a movie. Maybe it even beats the Mortal Kombat movies as they're apparantly terrible.

I much rather the wholesome story of the relentless edge of the previous stories. The last game got really unnecessary, but this seems a lot better while still having brutality and violence. It's made me significantly more interested in it than 11s Aftermath dlc.
For Ellen’s Fear Academy this year, I recommend Bloodborne! She loves Fromsoftware, so it could be nice little treat! Still plenty of jump scares from enemies and creepy monsters for all the spookenings!
