Growing up in Port Harcourt, we had periwinkles in basically all the soups we ate. Since I’ve been in Lagos , I’m realizing that it’s not as common in this region. It’s also way more expensive and the sellers don’t remove the black eye which is annoying.
Fisherman soup doesn't need pamla fish or dried fish,the idea really is having sea creatures😀 in a soup(fish,ngolo,prawns,shrimps,crabs etc)...I love the idea of adding uziza seeds as the uziza leaves these days are not giving the right taste
