Dana Roth is a massive bass player. We played a lot together some years ago, and now we live on different continents 🌎 So happy to have had the chance to hang together and create this spontaneous video. Dana grabbed the Bass Ngoni and got my composition in a sec with her wizardess talent and Zen groove. Just having fun creating. 🙏🏽❤️🤟🏾

It seems there is some confusion between Ngoni and Kora: It's not the same instrument..

It isn’t indeed. And Ngoni is a general name for string instruments from West Africa. Kora is a 21-strings harp.

A Kora is a specific type of harp. Other similarly shaped but different harps are called N'goni.

Djeli is a word that describes traditional musicians from Mali which carry the role of story tellers, historians and play in weddings, ceremonies etc. In Senegal they are called Gewel.
