I bought one of those machines and I have a question, can the brush be adjusted so that it sticks closer to the ground or does it come off the ground?

Yes there is. When you stand behind the machine, on the right hand side right below where you put in the clean water, there is the brush pressure adjustment. It’s higher than the pedal where you step up/down to put down the brush
