Tomato Trellis for Pots (CHEAP and EASY)

Since I've been growing tomato plants in pots this year I needed an easy way to trellis them. Tomato plants need staked in some way to keep them upright and introduce good air flow. That reduces the chances of fungal disease and other issues. It also can increase production as the tomato plants gain better lighting.
I repurposed some PVC pipes that had been previously used for building some small hoop houses/tunnels in the vegetable garden. With a little form made from concrete blocks I was able to easily bend them to a shape I needed and used twine to hold up the tomato plants. This was a quick and easy way to get my tomato plants trellised up!

Excellent idea. Just need to source the PVC pipes or other bendy materials.

Why no house updates? Its been almost a year..

It's nearing completion actually. Probably 6 weeks out. I stopped doing video updates in our property since they didn't seem to be enjoyed by very many. I'll have to put one together soon.

@@Growingthehomegarden That was a mistake. could have gotten many videos out of it. One of the reasons I subscribed was to watch your house and grounds progress along the way.I don't think I'm alone

I'll start incorporating more of that into the rotation. It's been quite a project. I'm excited to start getting some gardens going hopefully late summer and fall of this year.

If the pipe is grey it will last much longer
