- As a single mom making the decision to leave everything I knew and was comfortable around was a hard decision. I really loved by faith when it came to moving to Texas and being 5 months in I wouldn’t change a thing. The move and change was needed. 💙

@@kensyroland-so3dcfirst and foremost take your time, get settled and comfortable, then start exploring not only entertainment for the kids but you. I have a babysitter so I can have free time and just know it’s ok if you get lonely your friends and family are just a call, plane or ride away

I have been STRUGGLING! Vascilating since my oldest was 20 to move. All the fears settled in. I appreciate you Lani. I stayed until my gma passed and felt from God that was a "release" for me since I was her primary caregiver. I am suffocating here in my hometown. Toxic situationship, amd there is purely nothing here for me. I am uncomfortably comfortable, because I at least have job here. I fear taking my boys from their dad. However, they are in high school and live with him to school (for the past 2 months). Long and short, thank you for this. I busted into tears. I dunno anyone reliable in Houston Area, so it would be just me. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I felt that when you said, “You get a new narrative when moving to a new state”
I got set up by my friends & they spread rumors about me to make it look like I’m a “freak” or “nasty” & that’s what a lot of people my age say when mentioning my name.🙄

We’re thinking about moving to Texas from TN, we want to start fresh but at the same time we already know it’s gonna be so hard to leave our home and area bc that’s where we’ve been almost forever 😢 but my family talked that it honestly would be a better move bc for all of our well being and happiness

I’m from Florida as well & want to move to another area or state for new beginnings and cheaper cost of living. My only guilt is taking my daughter away & not having the support.

I hope the next chapter of your life will be very productive. You are a great mother and you’re doing a phenomenal job taking care of your children. Be very careful who you let in your friend circle. I’m 27 , single mother , I live in New York and just about everybody I know is planning to move south. I’m a postal worker and I put in a couple of transfers. This video is right on time for me! 😩💕

Some people like Texas with samll children some people don't...depends on your funds... its hard to get childcare or any assistance..must have a car because everything is far...and you need a ez tag sticker for the tolls..its a lot of low paying jobs
