- Do you want to know what it's like to live with the brand new 2022 Benelli TRK 502? I'll tell you all about it, after riding it for 2 weeks straight here's what I really think about this motorcycle.
Is it the best Sport Tourer on a budget?
Here's my first impression review: • 2022 Benelli TRK 502: ...

I own one. It's been reliable and fun to ride . My other bike is a 1200 monster. I've been riding this one more for sheer comfort and cruising .
Is the engine reliable and are the parts good quality? Also is maintenance expensive?
I own a 2018 TRK, 32.000 km summary: still cool looking bike, changing spark plugs tough takes approx. 2 hrs. ... many bolts, a lot of covers to be removed,
But: with 3 bikes in the garage (Bandit 600 S and XJ 900 Diversion) my leatherman-multi-purpose-tool is still the TRK!!!
Enough power fot rural roads, top riding position with rain and windprotection on high class level (i. e. BMWs...) - raincover mostly can stay stoved in the (optional but perfect) 23l SHAD box. Fuel consumption between 4 / 5 liters, rural / highway. Maximum speed: 155 ( GPS-data), speedometer: 168 km/h.
For me the perfect touring bike with low costs and even tough nice looking
Very good professional reviewer!! I love Benelli 🔝💯💯
I have a 21 TRK, only done a few cosmetic additions. Bought it new in 22 for $6000 OTD. Has 4500 miles on it, never any issues. My main bike is a 19 KTM SDGT.
I own one fantastic bike, it makes a change from my heavy Harley
We both have theTRK X and did the 15th sprocket change .. the best change for the bike so much better and no vibrations on higher speeds
u put a 15th? or previous was 15?
We put a 15 th on the bike original it is 14 th
Great video, thoughts on lights at night? Visibility? Possible to update headlights bulbs? Thank you
Honestly I thought the standard headlight worked just fine but I could see how it might not be the brightest in very dark places so if that's the case for you look for a better alternative 👍
Great bike ❤
i like it i drove one and its a beginners bike it has no power but evrything else is oke and brand new
I own a 2021 model year. The bike is alright, but vibrations from the motor are killing all enjoyment tbh.
Really good 👍 review. Thanks : )
🙏🤙
I have the 502 x the best upgrade is the 15th front sprocket
What is the city mpg? L/100. And what is the actual top speed? I heard that real speed is overestimated in the speedo with about 15kmh
Realistically about 50-55mpg in town. The real speed seemed to be overestimated to me as well 🤔
@@gmmotomedia thanks, and what is the actual seat hight? I've checked it's says 800mm, that's quite lower than the 502x. Wondering since I am 1.70m. And does it have enough power to ride with a pillon(both around 60kg)
Yes it does! I think it's just over 800mm. I don't have the bike with me anymore I would have checked.
@@gmmotomedia PS : also the bike is 213kg with fluids, so actually around 190kg without. It was a producer mistake.
What's differences between 2021 and 2022?

The year
Never saw an update? Is there one?
What do you mean?
I have one. Some of that weight is gas - I can get over 600km on the open road, she's carrying a fair fuel load that can feel high. I'll take the range though 🙂
wow!! My TRK makes about 350 - 400 kms. Don t forget: motorcycles are made for fun 🙂
No trouble so far (32 tkms) other than the steering gead bearing - poor quality, made in China...
The weight is too much 🙃.. Maybe If 😮💨 they reduce it below or at least Curb weight 190KG, the Engine Performance and Fuel Efficiency will improve a lot.
in 2023 i see it at £6299 :(
Severely underpowered to the point it’s almost dangerous. Stick at 1000+ cc in it and I’ll have another look.
How so?, mine will do 60 in around 7 seconds and overtakes easy and gets to 70+ with ease. I'm 220lbs so it has plenty of weight on it.
@@chrisrose-jx1wq My 20 year old Yamaha FJR is about twice as fast to 60. That agility is required. Autobahn speeds are required.
Not everyone rides like they stole their bike mate and very few countries have autobhans we can only do 70mph here and it's stable and smooth with good handling and breaks doing 0-60 in 3s ish is stupid in town, fun on an autobhan but i doubt you would be pulling away from 0. If you want a sports bike buy one it's not for you clearly but it's not dangerous either mate.
The only way it could be dangerous is if you're trying to ride it like a 1000cc bike, overtakes, pulling out at junctions etc.
Are you taking the piss hope so otherwise you are off your head if you want what you are saying get a sports bike even my 1200 g.s. is not that fast and much much much much more expensive most G.S. riders are just telling you how big their dick's are.. This bike is more than most will ever need trust me I have been riding for over 50 years I have now sold the G.S. and kept this bike no more £120 per hour service costs no more parts that need a loan to buy no more breaking down with re calls B.M.W. don't want to honour Trust me its an ok bike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
