Best time at Rialtos bridge was when my friend pulled a JunkerQueen off the map 7 times in one game as Roadhog in QP.
Had the same with a Hog on Nepal. Saved my Orisa like 5 times as LW
they said they have a passive playstyle and honestly that’s their main problem. They need to be more aggressive with their kunais, use their ult aggressively, do more damage, put more pressure. And obviously there are a lot of positioning mistakes, bad ability usage, poor awareness, etc, but it’s not as bad as being this passive.
between 6 to 8 minutes i was screaming for them to press up against the crates or go to the arches, it TERRIFIED me how long they just stood in the open with full angle from anyone on defenders side
passive playstyle = unconfident
They picked the wrong supports to play passive with as well because they are just not utilising their whole kit. Just play Mercy, LW or Brig if you want to be more passive. Basically, any support with a gun as their primary "weapon" should not be passive.
@@bigfudge2031You have to be hella aggressive with Brig though or else you're not going to fully heal your team without constantly using Inspire.
@@krautgazerYou can proc inspire which lasts for 5 seconds using whip shot which is on a 4-second cooldown and has a 20m range. You don't need to be aggressive at all, just throw a whipshot at the enemy occasionally.

Kitsune economy shipping
Kitsune is such a misused ult in lower ranks. Use it to prevent things from happening, not a response to things happening. The issue is that it provides speed and faster cooldowns for your team but you're not guaranteed that they'll do anything with those buffs so use it aggressively to give your team that extra push when you know there's about to be a fight, even if you don't think it'll help much. By the next fight you'll have it again because it's easy to build
What i noticed on both heroes.
They're playing them as healers in a mmo and not as supports in overwatch. You don't need to spam heals at full health in cover teammates. Be aggressive sometimes, in this game it was a 4 vs 5 a lot of the time because of to much overhealing.
Illari has insane damage at the moment, use it to your teams advantage, you don't have to get elims. Just doing damage and putting on pressure is good enough for your team to follow up on. Punish the enemies positioning

fun fact: I'm in plat and i had a game a few days ago on rialto in a gold lobby and someone fell off this very bridge. it was incredibly funny. i didn't expect it at all, especially because it wasn't a boop or anything. Genji just dashed poorly, i think lol

as a lifeweaver nerd ive come to expect a kitsune whenever i tree by now cause its such a common combo when playing with a kiriko, so when she holding onto the kitsune at first i thought maybe shes waiting for tree or another ult to combine, but when she didnt even kitsune with tree i was honestly a bit baffled
she'd already be at like 50% charge for another alt while holding 2 corners up on map.
Why is that a common ult combo? Generally you shouldn't stack up support ults since they're so strong, kitsune rush grants aggression and more healing for most characters cus of increased fire rate and tree makes everyone immortal, the two don't need to be used together at all

In rialto, the second point spawn(attackers) near the mega and boats, is my favorite spot for defense, As lucio I go their and lure their team in the corner near the mega, and I boop them off. I got 6 env kills from that.
Rialto Bridge is the only Top 500 GM who can queue for less then 5 minutes 😉

im surprised you didnt mention that this kiriko seems to have toggle healing ofudas on. like they use all of their ofudas for every single heal and don't stop even when they get dove lol. turn it off your life will be so much nicer!!

@@herrvorragend3542 when this setting is on it forces you to use all of your ofudas every time you press your button, even if your teammate only needed a little healing. and it prevents you from doing anything else while the ofudas are dispensing, like throwing a kunai

I haven't watched the full video yet, but please make sure to change Kirkos settings so you down have to use all of your heals for you to do anything else. I don't know if Emongg already mentioned this or not, but i don't think i have seen you once throw a few papers but only all of them.

Rialto is the only game in comp I've ever left, when three of the team kept falling\getting hooked into the water in MH instead of going right. That was when I decided I had enough overwatch ranked for the season
To be fair sometimes as torb i uave had times i just threw my turret out as in gold and plat a lot of people just laser focus on destroying that instead of shooting you.
This has saved me multiple times as it lets me withdraw or even kill the person shooting my turret.
Ig that doesnt happen in higher level games but hey im just playing for about a month so idk about that yet
I always want to play overwatch when I see these videos then I go through the worst losing streak, currently 3 W 10 L in plat 5 (previously in diamond 5)

I can see that they are using Kitsune as more of a defensive ULT when it is more of an aggressive ULT. They use it to counter Lucio beat most of the time which does not really add up. They really need to learn ULT usage, for example waiting for their bastion to have or be in the beginning of Turret form, or when their soldier has ULT to combo. They also need to understand that Kiri ULT is the most useful when you have all 5 man up on the team therefore being a stronger opening ULT than mid fight ULT.

As someone who put in a decent amount of time into illari, those pylon placements were very concerning. And the long ult holding on kiriko was kind-of bothersome to watch.

They held onto kitsune rush so long it downgraded to kitsune economy shipping
The three big things that i noticed when you played kiriko was that 1) use your ult more, 2) you have a second support, focus more on shooting your kunai than spamming your heal 3) you seem to like to teleport when you start taking dmg, except you teleport 2 ft in front of you. Think about the scenarios that can happen to you and when using your teleport would help you. Are you getting dived or are you just taking dmg from being in the fight? Teleport also cleanses, so if there's anything on the enemy team you can cleanse with your suzu, you can clean yourself with your teleport.

The Reaper lmao - they had a moment where they just looked at eachother like - we both know how this is going to go right? right? ... I would have faded at that moment lmao - Also yes the LW saved that game and the Kiriko holding q almost lost that game. Had they used kitsune earlier beat would have been forced earlier and maybe the fight is over before the team makes it back... Fun match
I played this map the other day and our hog kept getting hooked off and I was lifeweaver and I kept saving him but it seemed to pull him under the map I ended up with 33k mitigated damage. This bridge

For lack of a better term, this guy is a healbot. Playing way to passively and really only threw the kunai at the sym turrets. Just spamming his attack between heals would've helped cross that bridge so much easier.
Plus, only if Kiri has some sort of ultimate ability to make everyone cross that bridge faster

I want to be nice, but then I'd be lying. This player played exactly like a silver: no map awareness, bad mobility usage, horrible skill uses, ult negligence. A lot of these don't take much to fix

This player must have just gotten silver, they’re playing like they’re still in bronze. Also word of advice from an ex support player in comp there is no passive healer, yes you can look out for your team, but if you have a super like kiriko use that shit like it’s going out of style.

I don't get it, how is this silver? I'm a silver 3 on EU servers and the people i'm against know exactly what they're doing, there's very little margin for error but I can absolutely tell when someone gold and up is matched with us. These people look like they should still be in bronze! I guess because there are less people on the EU servers the spread of ability is tighter?

Buddy, how can you say that your teammates position is all out of whack when you’re constantly sitting out in the open mid fight? Play around walls and corners more. Only reason you aren’t getting lasered is because you’re in a silver lobby. You’re gonna have trouble climbing even into gold if you’re sitting out in the open waiting for the enemy DPS to kill you. Focus on yourself before blaming your bad teammates.

1. In the open
2. In front of the enemy team
Is a pretty brain-dead play... Even if this is your first-time playing Illari, or even FPS... You will never deploy a healing pod that is destroyable (and relatively easy as well) in front of the enemy if you have the choice to deploy it anywhere... That's just a lack of Gamer's common-sense imho.. Maybe if this is your ever first Video Game then yea maybe?

I’ve been in bronze forever. I honestly hardly ever see people fall off the bridge on Rialto. If I’m being honest, I think most of this crap is manufactured just to create content. The problem is that with no restrictions on “alt accounts”, the number of people who don’t care about playing as a team or don’t play obj increases EXPONENTIALLY as you go down the ranks. Streamers admit to having more than 10 alts and honestly the reason I don’t invest in this game in comp is because I can never say for sure how many of my teammates really want to play and how many just want to feed videos like these. I’m b3 and I haven’t fallen off this bridge for more than 2 seasons. As long as ppl just having fun it’s fine. But let’s not bring rank into this. People will literally throw themselves off bridges for attention (on their 15th alt account if that’s what it takes). I suppose it’s entertaining occasionally

Pretty sure 5 year olds can figure out not to play near it when they die once.
