Glad there's no down or up tuning.. one of my strings snapped once and i get goose bumps whenever i have to change from standard tuning. Thank you so so much for this tut.
i saw this video a couple of months ago, and decided that this would be the first fingerstyle that i'd practice once i had a guitar of my own, because i just borrowed my friends' guitar whenever we'd hang out. This week i got my guitar and is currently practicing this. Thank you for this tutorial man!
Nice, but there's a second pattern he alternates to starting with the F chord where the pattern includes the third fret high e string pulling off to open high e.
Finally somebody who just gets it when it comes to a tutorial! Kudos to you.
Mission accomplished.
This is the most amazing format for a guitar tutorial I have come across.. and I've seen a lot...
It's the most natural in my view: no talking, use your ears and your eyes, slow to fast, not wasting anybody's time. That's all there is to it.

Happened to me now and my music place have noooo strings left for me guitar, gotta play without this 6th for a while
This is the best concept for a tutorial I've ever seen! Easy to follow, just replay until you can play it... Fantastisch!
Mission accomplished.
I agree 100%, this is what you need to learn the pattern of fingerpicking slowly at first, before it becomes something you can do subconsciously
I couldnt agree more. This is a beauty!
I wish every tutorial was as easy to follow as this one.
Mission accomplished!

My pleasure. Happy plucking!

Mission accomplished!

Noob-friendly, I like that. :-)
Amazing! Thank you
Thanks ä m i l l i o n for a great video. Does this include the "and at once, I knew I was not magnificent part?" I'm not sure what to do there.
400 MM, pfft too easy. 80 MM, yeah man I got this! 148 MM..ok give me a minute.

:-)
Dank je wel🌸
Met plezier gedaan.
Such a great tutorial, others should take note!
Thank you, teaching guitar is my job. This is what I make for my pupils.

I've made a simplified lesson in this video. The original is in an alternate tuning, so many things are different.
I'm getting a pulloff sound on the 3 fret b string. Any tips?
Lift the finger cleanly, straight upwards, not sideways.
@@MeesterDavidGitaar Thanks. Trying.
I might be lifting too soon as well. I’m sure there’s some slop in the technique as well.
Awesome tutorial. .....
Thanks Timmy! These videos take a lot of work to make, so I'm glad when they're appreciated.
It shows...great work and thank you.
God ✨
Bedankt!
:-)
Good job. Playing is the easy part. Making the video I bet was exhausting!
Sort of.
This is terrific, so comprehensive. The high 3 in the F chord can just as well be the first fret on the E string though right?
If you like you can do that. But I think and Fmaj7 (actually maj9) is better, so an open first string is what I think sounds better.
Thanks for this dude, great tutorial method. I wanted to ask if there's any way of you showing us where the lyrics fit in?

super slow version reminded me of Arvo Part
I was the 999th like
I was just the 1000th
its not how its played though
Indeed, that's what it says: in standard tuning, so for those of who want to play the song but don't want to detune their guitars.
Thanks for this tutorial. great work!
