- The DutchDominoTeam proudly presents its 10-year anniversary project!
2020 changed our plans of having our annual big themed project which will now be the World Domino Collective (WDC) 2021. Instead we took the opportunity to have a proper 10-year anniversary project along with new builders that joined the team!
130.000 dominoes were set up to create this colorful mosaic in a celebratory fashion. Giant 3D structures showing ’10 Years’ of no less than 20.000 dominoes, serpentines with a domino-party wall so we at least have a party nonetheless, a huge 50.000 dominofield and of course some domino fireworks to top things off!
The project was built in just one week with 14 builders and was toppled by none other than our beloved cook Niels, who has provided our meals since DDT2019. Thank you Niels and Sportservice Veenendaal for making this project possible!

Echt super mooi hoe DDT de afgelopen 10 jaar niet alleen is gegroeid in omvang, maar ook in bouwstijlen, technieken, storytelling, editing. Het zit allemaal super goed in elkaar en het is duidelijk te zien dat jullie het event elke keer weer naar een hoger niveau brengen! Klasse! 🔥

That was magnificent, ten years is truly awesome! I loved the effect at 2:20 and 3:17 was really unexpected, such a flawless and an epic falldown!!

We have! What we had planned for "WDC 2020" which never happened, will just be WDC 2021 - Fairy Tales.
