Thanks for your comment, I prefer the P62 simply for the sharpness level, and I prefer the colour of the p62. This projector does have it's advantages with the android operating system built in, but also has it's disadvantages over the P62. Such as lack of automatic focus and automatic keystone when you first power on the projector. But we can still adjust these digitally and remotely via the remote control, it just doesn't do it all for you. They are both great projectors, it just depends what you're looking for in both of these models. Hope this helps. 🙂👍
Hello, please help me. I have questions regarding which projector to buy? I am between the Wimious P64, the Yaber K1 and the Blitzwolf V5, which would be a better option? I am looking for good image quality and prpyec power
I have no experience with the Blizwolf V5 but looking at the online specifications and the pricing it seems the K1 will be far superior machine.. followed by the P64 both great projectors by the way 🙂👍

This is a tough one if you need android in a projector than the P63. If you don't care for android and you already have a smart device, than I'd say the P62. Because you get a nice carry bag with it to make the projector nice and portable. You also have auto focus and auto keystone and slightly better sharpness on the P62. both a great machines though so it's what you prefer really in a projector. 🙂👍
Usually on most Wimius projectors the 4 point Mounting holes are under the rubber feet. The rubber feet are usually stuck down just pop them off and you should see some holes underneath. I haven't checked this on the P63 but they are likely to be there. Hope this helps 🙂👍

They are both great projectors. If you don't need the smart features I'd go for the P62 it's much sharper across the board. And it comes with a nice backpack to transport the projector. You also have the Wimius P64 which is also an excellent machine. This one is less portable tho. But it has a little more brightness, and has much better speakers built in. Hope this helps 🙂👍
Great video 📹 👍 Question, what Projector in the Wimius brand would you recommend for watching during the day ? Not alot of light coming in , but their is some of course. What would you recommended a Projector with the Smart feature like android OS or not ? As i have my Nvidia Shield Pro to hook up via Hdmi anyways ? Hiya, thanks for your comment. I'd always recommend buying some blackout blinds or curtains if you can, as none of the low cost projectors cope well in the daytime. You would prob need 2000-4000 lumens if watching in the daytime for a decent picture. So try to darken the room as much as possible when watching content. Also, if you have a Nvidia shield I would hook this up to the projector instead, rather than the inbuilt system. The Nvidia shield will have better app compatibly and it gets regular updates which is not the case with built in systems. Also, to get the most out of your projector, make sure you get a good projector screen with a black backing on. This is so light can't pass through the screen, as you will lose a lot of light, and picture quality. You want as much light bouncing back at you as possible for the best possible image quality and colour pop. But darkness is essential for good picture quality. Hope this helps you. 🙂👍

I've just checked this for you mate and connected it to a HDMI source all the picture settings are there when you press the menu button so it's just on the android system they are missing. I will have to put this in the discription of the video 🙂👍 Thanks mate for making me check this. I was just testing the projector purely on the built android system.
great review. btw, you mention P63 has some lag when playing FPS. Are you referring to the scene where you play Splitgate and show on camera pressing the trigger button on the game controller to which the gun in the game responds a moment later?
It just felt a little slower to me when playing FPS games. It's Great for other games though. I just did that small test so the viewers can be the judge of the input lag. Obviously this isn't a proper scientific method or anywhere near an accurate test. Because in a video it doesn't' really show proper input lag. But your experience may vary to mine 🙂👍 It's a great machine though for the money. 🙂👍

Yes this should be ok mate, for reference my projector is 2.9 meters away from my wall and I can project just over 80 inches. And I can reduce the size by 50 percent, so you should be ok at them distances 🙂👍
Really great and thorough review! I'm tossing up between this P63 and the P64. Did you happen to also have dB readings from the P64 fan? And do you remember how the input lag compared between the two? It seemed quite unresponsive based off the trigger demo with the P63. Cheers!
Hi, thanks for your comment. At the time of my review, I didn't have a decibel meter, but the fan on the P63 seems slightly quieter to the ear to me than the p64, but there's not much in it in all honesty. The P64 seems roughly the same to me in the response time, although I don't have any special tools for accurate measurement right now.. Maybe I'll invest in some in the future when the funds allow. Next time I setup the P64 I'll be sure to take down the decibel readings and comment back on this post for you 🙂👍 Hope this helps you 🙂👍

This device states that it supports 4k? I couldn't find any option to check that out. Have you figured out how? or do you have to play a 4k video or a movie?
I couldn't get this projector to output in 4k either, only 1080p feeds. Although it will play 4k content whilst streaming videos etc it will just downscale it to 1080p.

I haven't tested the chrome app on this projector I only tested the built in apps that was already installed on the machine. But I think you can use chrome. 🙂👍 You can also plug any smart device into the back on the projector such as a fire stick, Google Chromecast, Roku, etc if you can't gain access to chrome. pairing this projector with another smart device is a good idea if you already have one for full app compatibility. 🙂👍
Any experience with the yaber pro v9? It’s currently on for £168 on Amazon and has auto key stone and auto focus. Like all cheap projectors the review state that all these projectors have focus/sharpness issues around the corners… I wanted the nebula capsule 3 laser but can’t justify the price, even a refurb is £570 and only 300 ansi lumens 🙁
The Yaber pro V9 is basically the same as the Wimius P62 just with a few cosmetic changes on the front.. But the main shell and all the components inside are identical.. In fact the Wimius P62 is manufactured by Yaber technologys at the same factories. Even the Wimius P63 is manufactured by Yaber, as that's what's written on the back of the box.. No there was no rainbow effect on any of the Wimius Projectors that I've tested.. The Wimius P62 has been excellent for sharpness, the P63 was slightly behind the P62 in sharpness levels. 🙂👍

Its entirely up to you mate and your budget. I would say it's worth it.. and yes mate I paired mine with 2 tribit stormbox micros I have them paired in stereo mode left and right channels and they have performed excellently with no lag when I was reviewing the machine.. I haven't tested this machine long term over a period of months, but I did test the machine for several hours during my review and testing and the audio was spot on for me.. Apart from the netflix app, the audio was more quite than the rest of the apps built into the machine.. But if using another fire stick, Chromecast, Roku, dvd player, computer etc plugged into a hdmi I don't think you will have that problem. If you read the comments a few have pointed out they fixed the sound issue by changing the sound settings to pc mode or something.. Your tribit storm box should be great with either projector you choose, they are great speakers 🙂👍
Sound was ok for me with a Google Chromecast and a firestick connected to the HDMI port on the projector. I think people were having problems using Bluetooth speakers. But my Bluetooth speakers worked just fine with this projector. 🙂👍 Maybe not all Bluetooth speakers are compatible. But the ones I tested worked fine which was from a brand called tribit. @nico31780 yes both machines you can raise the projector height. On the P64 you have 2 heights as it has 2 different height fold out legs. The P63 has much better height adjustment as it used a threaded foot/bolt to adjust to many heights which makes better fine adjustments. Hope this helps 🙂👍
There's not a dedicated pause button no. You would need to use the OK button and the directional keys for an on display pause button. Most apps such as netflix, prime, Disney, UA-cam etc and most media players have a pause button within the app. Hope that helps 🙂👍
How can I upgrade the memory of my P63? I find that 1 GB of storage is nothing. Even just for apps. Does it has a memory card slot or even is possible to extend via android tv?
Hi there, No there projector doesn't have a memory card slot, but it does have 2 USB ports. I've connected a USB stick to the projector but it gave me no options to expand the storage as internal memory. So I think the USB ports are only for viewing files. Yes the memory is quite low on this machine but it's fantastic for netflix, UA-cam, and prime video. These are the only apps I've used on this machine, but I here some apps are unsupported. It's recommended pairing this machine with an external device, suck as an Amazon fire stick, Google Chromecast, or Roku device for better app compatibility. Hope this helps you 🙂👍

I just got mine yesterday. I have so many questions! I may have to return if I don't get answers from the manufacturer...first of all.. I cannot get Amazon prime to work on this device. I went through all the steps .. I am logged in but whatever show, or movie I play it won't start. So wat do I do ? I connect my firestick on either HDMI 1 OR 2...I get video signal but no sound! I have the sound connection coming out from the auxiliary output and into my home theater soundbar. YES!! I get sound playing on the sound bar when I use the projector's android OS... But no sound when I use the firestick.. does anyone have any experience with this ?? Thank you!
I will set this projector back up Tomo for you and check sound using a fire stick. I used a Chromecast and all was fine with sound from a Chromecast to a Bluetooth speaker and headphones. Are you meaning no sound is coming out of the Projectors speakers when using the HDMI port with a firestick? . I will also check Amazon prime app for you again and see if anythings changed. I bought this after watching your review. Screen projection is decent for thr price we pay. However I am unfortunately disappointed abit. I used the youtube / netflix app and there is sound lag. Im also unable to cast anything fromy phone using the miracast app. Its not showing up the p63 for screen casting/ sharing. Any workaround / tips to fix this issue?
There will probably be a restriction in your security settings somewhere on your phone that you need to resolve, or the app your using it incompatible . Without seeing the phone I can't really help on this occasion. But try using other casting apps instead there's plenty on the app store you can try 🙂👍

No the rubber feet pop out. But they are glued down so you will need a flat head screwdriver to lever them out. The rubber is quite thick and deep but they do come out because I've already tested this. Hope this helps 🙂👍
Both great projectors! But the P64 is slightly better in terms of specs, features and sharpness. The only thing it's missing is the smart features. The P64 takes the win over the P63. Hope this helps 🙂👍

I haven't had this projector set up for a while so not sure if it's been updated yet . But picture settings were only available on a HDMI source, they wasn't available on the android section at the time of my review.. There are many preconfigured presets already available on the HDMI source so just try each one, or customize your own. 🙂👍 Each person sees colour differently so sometime it's not a one size fits all approach. As for the keystone settings, I manually set my keystone, and then turn off automatic features, so it doesn't try to keystone every time you turn the machine on.. Hope this helps 🙂👍
Hi there, I don't have any experience with the Byinteck X25 but as for specs the X25 should easily out perform the Q2. The Q2 is designed for ultimate portability, and can only do so much in this tiny frame. Whilst the X25 is more aimed at the home projector market, which is alot larger and less portable. The Q2 can fit in your pocket, the X25 can't. So it all depends what you need in a projector. Both projectors are aimed at different markets in this particular case. Hope this helps you 🙂👍
17:25 it's a bit disappointing that this brand new device is still running Android 9 from 6 August 2018!! even the security patches almost 5 years old from November 5th 2019! why can't they put Android 14? if Wimius give me the kernel Source Code and the proprietary Bootloader code I would happily port Android 14 to this device!
I thought you was in talks with Wimius my friend, yeah it's not the latest Android TV version but it works really well with the installed apps built into the machine. Perhaps they will see your comment and reach out to you. It will be even better with Android 14 🙂👍 But it's great they are starting to install android TV onto their projectors. In the manual it doesn't state what the exact throw ratio is but it does give you information on projection distances. Which are as follows. 0.85m = 30" 1.5m = 50" 1.9m = 60" 2.6m = 80" 3.2m = 120" 4.8m = 180" 6.4m = 240" I was projection onto an 80" screen that was around 2.9m away hope this is helpful to you 🙂👍

Yes you can but only when on a HDMI source you hold down the menu button and go down to TV settings and there's various picture settings in there that you can change. But these pictures settings are not available on the Android part of the projector. Hope this helps you 🙂👍

Hiya, 🙂👋 This is strange all the apps worked perfectly for me in my testing. Have you tried updating the apps on the store to the latest ones? As for the casting features some phones have restrictions so you may need to go into the settings within the phone and unrestrict them. Also not all phones are fully supported with casting features, for this test I was using a Huawei p20 and it streamend perfectly. All devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network in order to cast to the projector. It will not work on 5G or 4G. Have you contacted Wimius? Maybe they can help solve your issues. Hi thanks for your comment, yes the 4 rubber feet on the bottom of the projector remove.. there's threaded mounting holes underneath the feet. The rubber feet are glued down, in there plastic holes so they can be a little difficult to remove, but they do indeed remove and have holes for ceiling mounting. Hope this helps 🙂👍
So I got the projector the other day, cost me £125. I know I shouldn’t complain at that price but I’m disappointed. Can’t handle any ambient light whatsoever. Fan is LOUD! This thing is a dust magnet. iOS screen mirroring worked ok. Felt the projector could have been brighter. But the biggest issue is the keystone, it’s crap. I have the projector at an angle on the bedside and the right side of the screen is blurry, it cannot be focused unless the projector is placed head on, direct. Guess you pay for what you get, this is going back. 😢

All projectors you will hear the fan noise unfortunately, but this is one of the quietest ones I've tested especially the auto focus. Fan noise is just under average on this machine. Hope this helps 🙂👍

Yes this should work with sky.. You just plug the HDMI cable from your sky box into the HDMI port in the back of the projector. 🙂👍 I haven't tested this myself as I don't have sky.. But it should work with any HDMI device you have plugged into the projector. Hope this helps 🙂👍
Hey . Great review. I wonder if anyone can help me. I have the p63 . I'm struggling with out of sync timing. I'm not sure if there's a setting that helps with this as it's fairly limited in the settings. Almost like it's something to do with frame rate? I'm not entirely sure. It's slightly better when I watch something through the internal apps but still sound does match the lip syncing and it's off. It's even worse if I try through hdmi and my laptop or try to wirelessly cast it's terrible and the quality is too . I can't find anything to get to the bottom of this or a setting to adjust anything. My internet connection has been tested and seems good upload and download speeds. Does anyone have any tips? I'm not getting an he experience or correct timing and it's making me want to stop using it Thanks so much !
This sounds like you may have an issue with the projector, my advice would be to exchange it if you can, or reach out to Wimius they may be able to provide more help, or send you a replacement. From my experience they have fantastic customer service, and the company are great to deal with. So It's Worth dropping them an email. 🙂👍
Hi, your reviews are truly in depth I bought the toptro x7 recently and I just returned it. Reasons: A little choppy on 60 fps Lag Image quality I was thinking of the xuanpad rd886 is it any good? Hi, Great video. I had never heard of this brand before I purchased it so was very glad to hear your review gave it such approval. I just purchased this model a few days ago and looks good so far, although there was no sound with HDMI cable and dvd player. I had to hook my dvd player up to my soundbar even though the projector had been bluetooth connected to the soundbar already. I thought the projector would still use the bluetooth connection, but it seems to stop working when my dvd player is connected. Also I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect a universal mounting bracket. In the manual it looks like it connects where the rubber feet are, but they don't come off as far as I can tell. If you have any idea about how to cmount this to the ceiling with a universal mounting bracket I would be very grateful. Many, many thanks!

I don't have a DVD player to test it on at the moment so I may have to borrow one. I did just check the rubber feet for you, and they do come out. Although not easy as the rubber feet are quite stuck down with glue, and the rubber feet are quite thick. But I removed one of the feet and there is mounting holes underneath the feet. I don't think it has arc support buddy I haven't tested this to be honest as I don't have any arc audio soundbars to test it with.. I just used portable wireless Bluetooth speakers with this device when testing the product. You could reach out to the manufacturer and ask before purchase, they are really friendly and great at helping customers with questions. 🙂👍

I bought it and using today. Connected to sound bar/ear phones though Bluetooth. After every 8-9 minutes Bluetooth speaker is not receiving sound.. sound is fine after 8 minutes of video start. Anyone having this issue? Any work around or fix? Tried upgrading the software.. but it says already it's using latest version

Thank you for the reply. It's happening in both situations. I tried yesterday with my simple Jabra speaker which didn't have Dolby audio. This also didn't get disconnected with Apple air pods. I'm guessing this could be a software fix. I don't know how this can be covered to wimius
Hi so I set the projector back up and connected it to my Bluetooth speakers, and watched a 30 minute video on UA-cam and i didn't have any problems with Bluetooth disconecting. So I'm not sure why you are experiencing problems, if it keeps happening maybe reach out to wimius via email and they can check if your Bluetooth speaker is compatible. Or maybe do a return if it bothers you and hopefully the next one will be better. Things to note you can only connect 1 Bluetooth device at 1 time, if you have 2 connected this won't work and will get confused. Hope this helps you 🙂👍
Hi sorry for late reply, I didn't get this notification. I don't think you can extend the storage, but you may be able to play movies and films of a USB hard drive. Without setting it all back up again I can't remember app cancellation. I don't think there is a quick way to do this, but manually going into the app settings and force closing the app itself. Has anyone managed to figure out how to use ITVX on the P63? It comes with ITV Hub which is now defunct and it forces you to update to ITVX, but when you launch ITVX it says "the manufacturer and/or operating system provider for this device has not secured the necessary rights for this application". I've emailed Wimius support but wondered if anyone knew of a workaround?
It can, but I wouldn't advise it. The picture will be extremely dim and washed out during the daytime. Cinema rooms, and theatres are dark for a reason, to get the best picture performance out of the hardware. To view in the day time you would need a projector of atleast 1000-4000 lumens if not more. Colors could be a bit more rich. Little washed out even with adjustments. And that is in HDMI only! Why no adjustment in Home setting? Strange. Also, I may have to return. When I shut down, 3 seconds later it comes back on again on it's own. I reached out to the vendor, but no answer yet. Don't want to have to unplug to turn off. Crazy.. Maybe I hit some setting, but even after reset, same issue..
This is strange, in your boot source options do you have it set to standby? Or power on? Try standbye. And yes this is what I discovered no colour settings on the android part. Hopefully these will get added in the future. Also, how are you viewing the projector what are you shining the projector on? A plain wall? Or a cheap cloth screen? Or a proper screen like mine? I always advise people to get a proper screen where light can't pass through the screen, these cheap bed sheet type hang up screens are garbage as you lose a lot of light and colour. Always try to use a proper projector screen with a black backing were light can't pass through the projector screen to get the best and most out of your projector. My screen was only £56 pounds and it's been superb. Try to have a projector screen that's got a 1.0 - 1.1 gain factor so when the light hits the screen the same amount of light bounces back at you. This way you won't be losing much light and you will get the best out of your machine. Also you need to be in a very dark environment with no ambient lighting to get the best colours out of your machine. Any sort of ambient lighting colours will be washed out compared to a dark room. Hope this helps you.
I will check the settings again.. See if that works. Bought another projector called Vizony. Also Android. From the looks of it, I would say many of these projectors are really just made by one parent company, but are slightly different. I returned the Vizony because the color was terrible. Wouldn't matter what it was shown on. As well as what I am projecting on now, it's just my wall. Don't want an extra screen. Did not really think or think necessary . Hi there, I always recommend a proper projector screen rather than shining it onto a white wall.. Sure you can shine it on the wall and it will work, but it won't be the best. They make projector screens for a reason. If you can't install a screen, then you should look at painting your wall with proper projector paint instead of normal paint. This will reflect the light of the wall better and you will get a better brighter more vibrant picture. Also, are you trying to watch this projector in the daytime? Or with quite a bit of light in the room? low budget projectors will seem very washed out in the daytime unfortunately. Your really need to be watching this projector at night or in a fully blacked out room with no light, to get the best from it. Hope this helps 🙂 👍

I was going to buy it today but i have been waiting on your video, i hate the top cover look of it tho it looks so cheap compared to the toptro x6, i had been watching some japenese videos camparing to the K1 and video sharpness seemed better in text and zoomed in obviously k1 has better colours (too over saturated for me tho) The p62 i decided to not get as it was going to be too loud for me, i bought the vamvo vf500 it was good but was too high pitched fan for me but a friend bwanted it so it didnt go to waste, i also had a cibest g1 only because it was the only real black friday sale i seen for £115 i knew most of the faults of it but this was extra broken and support did not answer me so it got returned. I will go for the wimius tho but its getting a sticker over the top button area
Yeah I've seen them videos he's a great UA-camr! Yeah this Projector is great! I think you will like it 🙂👍 It does have colour settings just not on the android part of the projector. They are fully operational on a HDMI source however 🙂👍 Sorry you was disappointed with the other projectors... The fan on this projector isn't to bad for noise... 🙂👍

You can find the color settings for the android portion if you go to settings >options>apps>see all apps>settings>open>picture. Then you have color temperature and picture mode options. Enjoy!
Thank you for letting me know this, I'm not sure why it sounds horrible. Maybe I stuffed something up in the audio settings when editing or outputting the video or maybe UA-cam done something to the audio. But It sounded fine to me, I appreciate the heads-up though and I'll try to do better 🙂👍

I'm sorry you feel this way, and the P63 didn't live up to your expectations. Yes android 9 isn't the latest operating system so some apps might be incompatible. However the apps that were installed onto the projector all worked as they should in my testing. I didn't download any other apps in my testing as I stated in my review.. I just tried the ones already installed and they all worked great! If you are having problems with just the android part of the machine you could always plug in a firestick, Roku, or a Chromecast into the back of the machine. Or any other smart device you have. Maybe you will have a better experience with not using the built in android system. Sorry you was disappointed.

You can adjust the picture settings and sound on the andriod TV projector hahaha. You have to to go to the other settings and there's a secret settings 😅
I updated this in the video description after a released the video, I found all the picture and sound settings when the projector was on a HDMI source, but couldn't find them when on the android UI.. @ReviewingHub yeah it's on the andriod itself, so what you have to do. Is go to setting, then go to others options, then under click all apps. There should be a setting button, click on that and click open. That's where you found all the picture's setting. It's kinda werid, where they put it. I was close to return this product, until I found this haha
I found mine to be very good in my testing. but it does depend on your broadband speed, and other devices in your household with the quality of your connection. Sorry that your experiencing problems hopefully you solve your issues 🙂👍

Thanks for your comment, I prefer the P62 simply for the sharpness level, and I prefer the colour of the p62.
This projector does have it's advantages with the android operating system built in, but also has it's disadvantages over the P62.
Such as lack of automatic focus and automatic keystone when you first power on the projector.
But we can still adjust these digitally and remotely via the remote control, it just doesn't do it all for you.
They are both great projectors, it just depends what you're looking for in both of these models.

This is a tough one if you need android in a projector than the P63.
If you don't care for android and you already have a smart device, than I'd say the P62.
Because you get a nice carry bag with it to make the projector nice and portable.
You also have auto focus and auto keystone and slightly better sharpness on the P62.
both a great machines though so it's what you prefer really in a projector. 🙂👍

Hi do you know if you can remove the rubber part to use the 4 point ceiling mount?
Usually on most Wimius projectors the 4 point Mounting holes are under the rubber feet. The rubber feet are usually stuck down just pop them off and you should see some holes underneath.
I haven't checked this on the P63 but they are likely to be there.

Looking to upgrade from my wimius k1, what would you recommend the p62 or p63?
They are both great projectors.
If you don't need the smart features I'd go for the P62 it's much sharper across the board. And it comes with a nice backpack to transport the projector.
You also have the Wimius P64 which is also an excellent machine.
This one is less portable tho. But it has a little more brightness, and has much better speakers built in.

Hiya, thanks for your comment. I'd always recommend buying some blackout blinds or curtains if you can, as none of the low cost projectors cope well in the daytime. You would prob need 2000-4000 lumens if watching in the daytime for a decent picture.
So try to darken the room as much as possible when watching content. Also, if you have a Nvidia shield I would hook this up to the projector instead, rather than the inbuilt system. The Nvidia shield will have better app compatibly and it gets regular updates which is not the case with built in systems.
Also, to get the most out of your projector, make sure you get a good projector screen with a black backing on. This is so light can't pass through the screen, as you will lose a lot of light, and picture quality.
You want as much light bouncing back at you as possible for the best possible image quality and colour pop.
But darkness is essential for good picture quality.

One question you said there are no picture adjustment settings but that is the only with built-in apps or is that also true when using HDMI input?
I've just checked this for you mate and connected it to a HDMI source all the picture settings are there when you press the menu button so it's just on the android system they are missing.

great review. btw, you mention P63 has some lag when playing FPS. Are you referring to the scene where you play Splitgate and show on camera pressing the trigger button on the game controller to which the gun in the game responds a moment later?
It just felt a little slower to me when playing FPS games.
It's Great for other games though.
I just did that small test so the viewers can be the judge of the input lag.
Obviously this isn't a proper scientific method or anywhere near an accurate test.
Because in a video it doesn't' really show proper input lag.
But your experience may vary to mine 🙂👍

Yes this should be ok mate, for reference my projector is 2.9 meters away from my wall and I can project just over 80 inches.
And I can reduce the size by 50 percent, so you should be ok at them distances 🙂👍
Really great and thorough review! I'm tossing up between this P63 and the P64. Did you happen to also have dB readings from the P64 fan? And do you remember how the input lag compared between the two? It seemed quite unresponsive based off the trigger demo with the P63. Cheers!

At the time of my review, I didn't have a decibel meter, but the fan on the P63 seems slightly quieter to the ear to me than the p64, but there's not much in it in all honesty.
The P64 seems roughly the same to me in the response time, although I don't have any special tools for accurate measurement right now..
Maybe I'll invest in some in the future when the funds allow.
Next time I setup the P64 I'll be sure to take down the decibel readings and comment back on this post for you 🙂👍

I couldn't get this projector to output in 4k either, only 1080p feeds.
Although it will play 4k content whilst streaming videos etc it will just downscale it to 1080p.

You can also plug any smart device into the back on the projector such as a fire stick, Google Chromecast, Roku, etc if you can't gain access to chrome.
pairing this projector with another smart device is a good idea if you already have one for full app compatibility. 🙂👍
Any experience with the yaber pro v9? It’s currently on for £168 on Amazon and has auto key stone and auto focus.
Like all cheap projectors the review state that all these projectors have focus/sharpness issues around the corners…
I wanted the nebula capsule 3 laser but can’t justify the price, even a refurb is £570 and only 300 ansi lumens 🙁
The Yaber pro V9 is basically the same as the Wimius P62 just with a few cosmetic changes on the front..
But the main shell and all the components inside are identical..
In fact the Wimius P62 is manufactured by Yaber technologys at the same factories.
Even the Wimius P63 is manufactured by Yaber, as that's what's written on the back of the box..
No there was no rainbow effect on any of the Wimius Projectors that I've tested..
The Wimius P62 has been excellent for sharpness, the P63 was slightly behind the P62 in sharpness levels. 🙂👍

Its entirely up to you mate and your budget. I would say it's worth it.. and yes mate I paired mine with 2 tribit stormbox micros I have them paired in stereo mode left and right channels and they have performed excellently with no lag when I was reviewing the machine..
I haven't tested this machine long term over a period of months, but I did test the machine for several hours during my review and testing and the audio was spot on for me..
Apart from the netflix app, the audio was more quite than the rest of the apps built into the machine..
But if using another fire stick, Chromecast, Roku, dvd player, computer etc plugged into a hdmi I don't think you will have that problem.
If you read the comments a few have pointed out they fixed the sound issue by changing the sound settings to pc mode or something..
Your tribit storm box should be great with either projector you choose, they are great speakers 🙂👍

Sound was ok for me with a Google Chromecast and a firestick connected to the HDMI port on the projector.
I think people were having problems using Bluetooth speakers.
But my Bluetooth speakers worked just fine with this projector. 🙂👍
Maybe not all Bluetooth speakers are compatible. But the ones I tested worked fine which was from a brand called tribit.

@nico31780 yes both machines you can raise the projector height.
On the P64 you have 2 heights as it has 2 different height fold out legs.
The P63 has much better height adjustment as it used a threaded foot/bolt to adjust to many heights which makes better fine adjustments.

There's not a dedicated pause button no.
You would need to use the OK button and the directional keys for an on display pause button.
Most apps such as netflix, prime, Disney, UA-cam etc and most media players have a pause button within the app.

Hi there, No there projector doesn't have a memory card slot, but it does have 2 USB ports.
I've connected a USB stick to the projector but it gave me no options to expand the storage as internal memory.
So I think the USB ports are only for viewing files.
Yes the memory is quite low on this machine but it's fantastic for netflix, UA-cam, and prime video.
These are the only apps I've used on this machine, but I here some apps are unsupported.
It's recommended pairing this machine with an external device, suck as an Amazon fire stick, Google Chromecast, or Roku device for better app compatibility.

I just got mine yesterday. I have so many questions! I may have to return if I don't get answers from the manufacturer...first of all.. I cannot get Amazon prime to work on this device. I went through all the steps .. I am logged in but whatever show, or movie I play it won't start. So wat do I do ? I connect my firestick on either HDMI 1 OR 2...I get video signal but no sound! I have the sound connection coming out from the auxiliary output and into my home theater soundbar. YES!! I get sound playing on the sound bar when I use the projector's android OS... But no sound when I use the firestick.. does anyone have any experience with this ?? Thank you!
I will set this projector back up Tomo for you and check sound using a fire stick.
I used a Chromecast and all was fine with sound from a Chromecast to a Bluetooth speaker and headphones.
Are you meaning no sound is coming out of the Projectors speakers when using the HDMI port with a firestick? .
I will also check Amazon prime app for you again and see if anythings changed.

I bought this after watching your review. Screen projection is decent for thr price we pay. However I am unfortunately disappointed abit. I used the youtube / netflix app and there is sound lag. Im also unable to cast anything fromy phone using the miracast app. Its not showing up the p63 for screen casting/ sharing. Any workaround / tips to fix this issue?
There will probably be a restriction in your security settings somewhere on your phone that you need to resolve, or the app your using it incompatible .
Without seeing the phone I can't really help on this occasion.
But try using other casting apps instead there's plenty on the app store you can try 🙂👍

No the rubber feet pop out. But they are glued down so you will need a flat head screwdriver to lever them out.
The rubber is quite thick and deep but they do come out because I've already tested this.

I haven't had this projector set up for a while so not sure if it's been updated yet .
But picture settings were only available on a HDMI source, they wasn't available on the android section at the time of my review..
There are many preconfigured presets already available on the HDMI source so just try each one, or customize your own. 🙂👍
Each person sees colour differently so sometime it's not a one size fits all approach.
As for the keystone settings, I manually set my keystone, and then turn off automatic features, so it doesn't try to keystone every time you turn the machine on..

Hi there, I don't have any experience with the Byinteck X25 but as for specs the X25 should easily out perform the Q2.
The Q2 is designed for ultimate portability, and can only do so much in this tiny frame.
Whilst the X25 is more aimed at the home projector market, which is alot larger and less portable.
The Q2 can fit in your pocket, the X25 can't.
So it all depends what you need in a projector.
Both projectors are aimed at different markets in this particular case.

17:25 it's a bit disappointing that this brand new device is still running Android 9 from 6 August 2018!! even the security patches almost 5 years old from November 5th 2019! why can't they put Android 14? if Wimius give me the kernel Source Code and the proprietary Bootloader code I would happily port Android 14 to this device!
I thought you was in talks with Wimius my friend, yeah it's not the latest Android TV version but it works really well with the installed apps built into the machine.

Hi what was the throw ration on this and what distance and screen size is your review set at please?
In the manual it doesn't state what the exact throw ratio is but it does give you information on projection distances.
Which are as follows.
0.85m = 30"
1.5m = 50"
1.9m = 60"
2.6m = 80"
3.2m = 120"
4.8m = 180"
6.4m = 240"
I was projection onto an 80" screen that was around 2.9m away hope this is helpful to you 🙂👍

Yes you can but only when on a HDMI source you hold down the menu button and go down to TV settings and there's various picture settings in there that you can change.
But these pictures settings are not available on the Android part of the projector.

Hiya, 🙂👋 This is strange all the apps worked perfectly for me in my testing. Have you tried updating the apps on the store to the latest ones? As for the casting features some phones have restrictions so you may need to go into the settings within the phone and unrestrict them.
Also not all phones are fully supported with casting features, for this test I was using a Huawei p20 and it streamend perfectly.
All devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network in order to cast to the projector. It will not work on 5G or 4G.
Have you contacted Wimius? Maybe they can help solve your issues.

Hi thanks for your comment, yes the 4 rubber feet on the bottom of the projector remove.. there's threaded mounting holes underneath the feet.
The rubber feet are glued down, in there plastic holes so they can be a little difficult to remove, but they do indeed remove and have holes for ceiling mounting.

So I got the projector the other day, cost me £125.
I know I shouldn’t complain at that price but I’m disappointed.
Can’t handle any ambient light whatsoever.
Fan is LOUD!
This thing is a dust magnet.
iOS screen mirroring worked ok.
Felt the projector could have been brighter.
But the biggest issue is the keystone, it’s crap.
I have the projector at an angle on the bedside and the right side of the screen is blurry, it cannot be focused unless the projector is placed head on, direct.
Guess you pay for what you get, this is going back.

You might want to go for the P64 then as it's slightly brighter, has better sound, and has the ability to be used as a Bluetooth speaker. 🙂👍

All projectors you will hear the fan noise unfortunately, but this is one of the quietest ones I've tested especially the auto focus.

Hi, I don't have any experience with these models I'm afraid, so I can't really comment on there performance against this machine.
I bought it. I'm very happy with it. But, it was recommended to go with Android TV box. Amazon, Xiaomi box. Or, better.

Yes this should work with sky..
You just plug the HDMI cable from your sky box into the HDMI port in the back of the projector. 🙂👍
I haven't tested this myself as I don't have sky.. But it should work with any HDMI device you have plugged into the projector.

How loud is the fan in dB?
Hey . Great review. I wonder if anyone can help me. I have the p63 . I'm struggling with out of sync timing. I'm not sure if there's a setting that helps with this as it's fairly limited in the settings. Almost like it's something to do with frame rate? I'm not entirely sure.
It's slightly better when I watch something through the internal apps but still sound does match the lip syncing and it's off.
It's even worse if I try through hdmi and my laptop or try to wirelessly cast it's terrible and the quality is too .
I can't find anything to get to the bottom of this or a setting to adjust anything.
My internet connection has been tested and seems good upload and download speeds.
Does anyone have any tips? I'm not getting an he experience or correct timing and it's making me want to stop using it

This sounds like you may have an issue with the projector, my advice would be to exchange it if you can, or reach out to Wimius they may be able to provide more help, or send you a replacement.
From my experience they have fantastic customer service, and the company are great to deal with.

Hi, Great video. I had never heard of this brand before I purchased it so was very glad to hear your review gave it such approval. I just purchased this model a few days ago and looks good so far, although there was no sound with HDMI cable and dvd player. I had to hook my dvd player up to my soundbar even though the projector had been bluetooth connected to the soundbar already. I thought the projector would still use the bluetooth connection, but it seems to stop working when my dvd player is connected. Also I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect a universal mounting bracket. In the manual it looks like it connects where the rubber feet are, but they don't come off as far as I can tell. If you have any idea about how to cmount this to the ceiling with a universal mounting bracket I would be very grateful. Many, many thanks!

I don't have a DVD player to test it on at the moment so I may have to borrow one.
I did just check the rubber feet for you, and they do come out. Although not easy as the rubber feet are quite stuck down with glue, and the rubber feet are quite thick.
But I removed one of the feet and there is mounting holes underneath the feet.

HDMI ARC ?
I don't think it has arc support buddy I haven't tested this to be honest as I don't have any arc audio soundbars to test it with..
I just used portable wireless Bluetooth speakers with this device when testing the product.
You could reach out to the manufacturer and ask before purchase, they are really friendly and great at helping customers with questions. 🙂👍

I bought it and using today. Connected to sound bar/ear phones though Bluetooth. After every 8-9 minutes Bluetooth speaker is not receiving sound.. sound is fine after 8 minutes of video start. Anyone having this issue? Any work around or fix? Tried upgrading the software.. but it says already it's using latest version

Thank you for the reply. It's happening in both situations. I tried yesterday with my simple Jabra speaker which didn't have Dolby audio. This also didn't get disconnected with Apple air pods.
I'm guessing this could be a software fix. I don't know how this can be covered to wimius
Hi so I set the projector back up and connected it to my Bluetooth speakers, and watched a 30 minute video on UA-cam and i didn't have any problems with Bluetooth disconecting.
So I'm not sure why you are experiencing problems, if it keeps happening maybe reach out to wimius via email and they can check if your Bluetooth speaker is compatible.
Or maybe do a return if it bothers you and hopefully the next one will be better.
Things to note you can only connect 1 Bluetooth device at 1 time, if you have 2 connected this won't work and will get confused.

Hi sorry for late reply, I didn't get this notification. I don't think you can extend the storage, but you may be able to play movies and films of a USB hard drive.
Without setting it all back up again I can't remember app cancellation.
I don't think there is a quick way to do this, but manually going into the app settings and force closing the app itself.

Has anyone managed to figure out how to use ITVX on the P63? It comes with ITV Hub which is now defunct and it forces you to update to ITVX, but when you launch ITVX it says "the manufacturer and/or operating system provider for this device has not secured the necessary rights for this application". I've emailed Wimius support but wondered if anyone knew of a workaround?

It can, but I wouldn't advise it.
The picture will be extremely dim and washed out during the daytime.
Cinema rooms, and theatres are dark for a reason, to get the best picture performance out of the hardware.
To view in the day time you would need a projector of atleast 1000-4000 lumens if not more.

Strange that it doesn't seem to have BBC IPLAYER
Colors could be a bit more rich. Little washed out even with adjustments. And that is in HDMI only! Why no adjustment in Home setting? Strange. Also, I may have to return. When I shut down, 3 seconds later it comes back on again on it's own. I reached out to the vendor, but no answer yet. Don't want to have to unplug to turn off. Crazy.. Maybe I hit some setting, but even after reset, same issue..
This is strange, in your boot source options do you have it set to standby? Or power on? Try standbye.
And yes this is what I discovered no colour settings on the android part. Hopefully these will get added in the future.
Also, how are you viewing the projector what are you shining the projector on? A plain wall? Or a cheap cloth screen? Or a proper screen like mine?
I always advise people to get a proper screen where light can't pass through the screen, these cheap bed sheet type hang up screens are garbage as you lose a lot of light and colour.
Always try to use a proper projector screen with a black backing were light can't pass through the projector screen to get the best and most out of your projector.
My screen was only £56 pounds and it's been superb. Try to have a projector screen that's got a 1.0 - 1.1 gain factor so when the light hits the screen the same amount of light bounces back at you.
This way you won't be losing much light and you will get the best out of your machine.
Also you need to be in a very dark environment with no ambient lighting to get the best colours out of your machine.
Any sort of ambient lighting colours will be washed out compared to a dark room.

Bought another projector called Vizony. Also Android. From the looks of it, I would say many of these projectors are really just made by one parent company, but are slightly different.
I returned the Vizony because the color was terrible. Wouldn't matter what it was shown on.
As well as what I am projecting on now, it's just my wall. Don't want an extra screen. Did not really think or think necessary .
I had a 720p projector before this and honestly, it looked pretty damn good. Unfortunately it got dust inside and I could not get it cleaned. Also, they are not available now. Crenova.

Hi there, I always recommend a proper projector screen rather than shining it onto a white wall..
Sure you can shine it on the wall and it will work, but it won't be the best. They make projector screens for a reason.
If you can't install a screen, then you should look at painting your wall with proper projector paint instead of normal paint.
This will reflect the light of the wall better and you will get a better brighter more vibrant picture.
Also, are you trying to watch this projector in the daytime? Or with quite a bit of light in the room? low budget projectors will seem very washed out in the daytime unfortunately.
Your really need to be watching this projector at night or in a fully blacked out room with no light, to get the best from it.

I was going to buy it today but i have been waiting on your video, i hate the top cover look of it tho it looks so cheap compared to the toptro x6, i had been watching some japenese videos camparing to the K1 and video sharpness seemed better in text and zoomed in obviously k1 has better colours (too over saturated for me tho)
The p62 i decided to not get as it was going to be too loud for me, i bought the vamvo vf500 it was good but was too high pitched fan for me but a friend bwanted it so it didnt go to waste, i also had a cibest g1 only because it was the only real black friday sale i seen for £115 i knew most of the faults of it but this was extra broken and support did not answer me so it got returned.
I will go for the wimius tho but its getting a sticker over the top button area

@@ReviewingHub I was going to mention to you about the colour settings but seen it was already covered in the comments and description already, he's good yea hes done about 7 videos of it so far thats where i seen it, if you get a chance if your on the p63 again can you check if the plex app works as i seen the comment of it being Android 9. i will be using a fire stick and a pc anyway would rather not carry anything extra when i take it away with me . its a non issue either way im buying next time im in for delivery, cheers

You can find the color settings for the android portion if you go to settings >options>apps>see all apps>settings>open>picture. Then you have color temperature and picture mode options. Enjoy!

Thank you for letting me know this, I'm not sure why it sounds horrible. Maybe I stuffed something up in the audio settings when editing or outputting the video or maybe UA-cam done something to the audio.

Contrary to what you say, Android 9 is completely obsolete. Some applications are unusable and google play is not usable as usual. No usable APK for iptv. Bluetooth incompatible with HCiné, offset not adjustable. ridiculously low HP barely covers the loud fan noise. Average clarity and sharpness. In short, not at all what you describe!
I'm sorry you feel this way, and the P63 didn't live up to your expectations.
Yes android 9 isn't the latest operating system so some apps might be incompatible.
However the apps that were installed onto the projector all worked as they should in my testing.
I didn't download any other apps in my testing as I stated in my review.. I just tried the ones already installed and they all worked great!
If you are having problems with just the android part of the machine you could always plug in a firestick, Roku, or a Chromecast into the back of the machine.
Or any other smart device you have. Maybe you will have a better experience with not using the built in android system.

Concernant tous les critères importants pr ce genre de produits (qualité d’image Résolution full hd 1080/ luminosité / interface 2*USB 2*HDMI AV / Android Système installé …) Cette marque est en train de se faire un p’tit nom dans cette gamme de produit. Jetez un œil sur le modèle EKASN 1080 4K au même prix et qui possède les mêmes caractéristiques que le P63 et très bien noté 4,5. En conclusion vu le rapport qualité/prix c’est un excellent choix. You can adjust the picture settings and sound on the andriod TV projector hahaha. You have to to go to the other settings and there's a secret settings 😅
I updated this in the video description after a released the video, I found all the picture and sound settings when the projector was on a HDMI source, but couldn't find them when on the android UI..

@ReviewingHub yeah it's on the andriod itself, so what you have to do. Is go to setting, then go to others options, then under click all apps. There should be a setting button, click on that and click open. That's where you found all the picture's setting.

I found mine to be very good in my testing. but it does depend on your broadband speed, and other devices in your household with the quality of your connection.
