I think the thing I love the most about this podcast is that all three of you come from different places and how you all give different perspectives on the same topic but it all has the same content in your explanations and are able to talk to different people listening.

Some of the most useful lucid dream explanations I’ve found are through lama surya das, and Dzodgen teachings

Lucid dreaming is being inside a dream and realising it's a dream. Right there you can do whatever you want and you have some sort of access to your subconcious mind. Maybe that's what all the "successful people" mean by using dreams for goal setting - in a dream you can go really deep within yourself and find out what you really truly want. I've never used it like that but it seems interesting.

I think the concept of what is risk covered around 30:40 is an interesting concept. By jumping the hedge you are still taking a risk even if you check to make sure there isn't a metal pole the otherside, but you're taking intended risk. If I go to a casino, I take the intended risk of losing my money, and if I bring £100 to play at the casino I am prepared to risk losing that money and that's okay. If I get shoved at the casino by an employee and hit my head, that is an unintended risk which is far more devastating. Like with the hedge, if you jumped the hedge, failed and fell back breaking your foot, you accept it because that is the risk you took, if you impale yourself that is entirely different type of risk.
