Thank you for the great instructional video. It was easy as shown! I decided to save money instead of buying a new part I would soak the blue part of the valve with the screen ( careful not to let any of the little black square electrical box get in the vinegar solution) in white vinegar over night. We have very hard water. It worked! My issue was sediment from my water. So thankful for this video to help me get to the piece and remove and re install! 😊
Thank you so much for this excellent video. My 665.13473N411 was making a high pitched howling screeching noise and some soap was occasionally left in the dispenser (wasn't dissolving). Multiple sources said it was the inlet valve. Your part was a perfect fit. Bless you, "right to repair" people of the world.

Is this one of the few cases where the righty tighty rule does not hold? Seems like the rotation is clockwise/right to loosen.
What is the model number of your appliance?
@@appliancepartspros oh mine is identic that's in the video. I was just saying it's weird it looks like it's a counter clockwise turn to tighten.
Do according to KitchenAid this is not a fill valve. The water inlet is different.
