I love that Batman’s not even a character fully dedicated to martial arts or combat like Shiva or Deathstroke and yet he’s a better warrior than them. That’d be like if Albert Einstein had found the time necessary to also be a better martial artist than Bruce Lee.

He’s super intelligent and also a better fighter than all members of the Watchmen, but it’s not like Nite Owl or Rorschach’s backstory would clearly indicate that they’d have beat him in a fight. I’ve only ever seen parts of the movie, but Ozymandias at least seemed to continue his crusade as a hero as well as Rorschach while everyone else retired. Think about both Deathstroke and Batman. Deathstroke has always been known to be an assassin throughout his lifetime. Batman is known not just for his detective abilities, but also his skill in martial arts, creating gadgets, contingencies , learning multiple academics. In basketball who do you think is better during their prime? Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant? Jordan is better but that isn’t going to be mean Bryant wouldn’t give him a hard 1 on 1. Now let’s add some other aspects Jordan during his childhood also decided not only did he want to become great at basketball, but decided to put as much time and effort as possible into being as great in every other sports from Football, soccer, baseball, volleyball, boxing. Every sport. Now Bryant on the other hand is given super steroid, that permanently increases all of his physical capabilities and mental cognition. With these aspects added, who would be better in a 1 on 1.
If Deathstroke falls into rage then Batman wins, if Deathstroke keeps his composure through out than he wins, don't forget, rage outburst is to Deathstroke what pointing finger to himself is to Vegeta lol
Deathstroke also beat a Justice League team that had Flash, Green Lantern, Shazam, etc... (but didn't have Batman in it), so therefore Batman>Deathstroke>JL

Thanks to *Beast World Issue 2,* Batman is most definitely above Deathstroke since he fought against a stronger future version of Nightwing. Batman did more damage to Nightwing than Deathstroke could and Slade had to blow up a building in Dick Grayson’s face prior to fighting him. While Nightwing and Batman both had to fall off a bridge to determine the victor. Sure Batman didn’t beat Nightwing, but he did a lot better against his son than Deathstroke did. Not to mention, Dick could tell that Bruce wasn’t holding back when they fought. Thus resulting in Batman being superior to Deathstroke.
