    How much does the whole setup cost if you have an automatic to get 500 horsepower??? And is it possible to convert it to AWD???

    • @lazarusalvarez2511
      @lazarusalvarez2511 8 років тому +1

      the turbos are not to expensive, but installing them and building a platform night be. converting to awd would be impossible under 20k. even rwd would cost that much, becuase you need a new platorm, the most obvious one would be the g35 or 350z. but I've seen it done before

    • @tuninglove9027
      @tuninglove9027 8 років тому

      awd just requires you get the transmission for the g35x and that's it. turbo is another whole subject, I've done it, and if I could go back I would a car that has turbo from factory. turbo a nissan costs like 3-4k and buying a turbo car 1500 off craigslost

    hey, we own an altima vq 2004 turbo.. we waiting to tune it in a couple of weeks.. is that all you did? an upgrade to the fuel system( I'm guess a return fuel system). I mean to the engine internals.. I heard that these motors could only hold 350whp unless you rebuilt the block supposedly. Is that true?

That tune session was probably 13-15lbs of boost claiming 5OO WHP i didnt see it so maybe its really 4OO. You know how people say the fastest they ever went is 200 mph when its really 160

    • @mkelsho

      to get 500hp out of the engine he would have to be running something like 25+psi of boost.... considering the stock engine is about 270hp thats an estimate of 8hp per 1psi boost

    3.5 v6 v-tech

    • @ShadesofSolidarity
      @ShadesofSolidarity 8 років тому +2

      +antoine beauchesne its not "v-tech". If you think it's v-tech then you should stop commenting on videos of cars since you clearly dont know much about them. V-tech is a system only used by Honda to provide more lift. It is basically, once oil pressure is high enough, locking a mechanism to make it as if the cam had a bigger lobe so the power doesnt drop off at high RMP's. Nissan uses a completely different system that either retards or advances the cam gears depending on the Rpm's. A much better system that produces a substantially bigger power increase than V-tech. Not to mention the VVL in this car has very little to do with it making 500whp. It could be because of the turbo and supporting mods, but then again i dont know much about cars.

    • @eddiedaugherty1504
      @eddiedaugherty1504 8 років тому

      +joe rogan you should go look up vtech then look up vvt then you to are the ignorant fool because every car these days that are 4 and 6 are variable valve timing.. and Nissan and Honda aren't enemy Nissan created the new Ford platform ever wonder were they got platinum from only car company to use platinum was Nissan armada platinum. ever wonder why the new Titan xd looks like the new Ford platinum.. Nissan created that look for Ford and wanted to use it for there truck to.. also look at the new Toyota tundra.. so that to you saying your ignorance also a vw passat is better then an Audi a4..

      Nick F LMFAO there all the same concept no matter WTF they name there variable valve timing.. I have a 97 prelude.. please next time you say something don't sound like a 3rd grader.. my phone changed it but either way vvl vvt vtec all the same

    • @destruxandexploze2552
      @destruxandexploze2552 3 роки тому +1

      @@eddiedaugherty1504 Not really. VTEC has a 3rd lobe that engages at 5k rpm. While VVT changes the timing and has no 3rd cam lobe like VTEC does. And VVL has a pad and lock pin that moves freely until the lock pin locks and pushes the pad up to change the lift of the valves which is different than VTEC. Foolish to say they’re all the same.
      Next time YOU say something, don’t sound like a bumbling idiot with no knowledge of cars.
