2003 was the year it became illegal to use a handheld phone while driving, although I know plenty of people who didn't give up the habit that easily. And how can you fly helicopters but not drive a car? That blows my mind. I've done helicopters on Flight Simulator and it's bloody hard work.
It's that thing called "old age", it's the time in your life when you are not able to do things as well anymore as you were able to when you were young.
Phones now are worse since most people are texting/watching videos instead of just talking. Helicopters usually fly in open skies with no objects in the way, the landing sight is clearly designated and clear. I knew someone in the mid-1990s who spent a fortune pimping out a late 1980s (think it was an F-reg?) Metro. It had strip lights underneath and everything, and at the time it looked really cool. You can tell the producers saw which characters worked in season 1 and tried to replicate them with this cast. Brian = Kay Karl = Craig Daz = Arif Nikki = Becky
Brian made Kay look like Sterling Moss, Karl was able to control it when he had a way to . Craig on the other hand was actually terrifying when he lost his rag. Daz was Arif on steroids and the same comparison could be made for Nikki and Becky. At least, that's my opinion anyway.

This furthers my opinion that everyone should have to take a new driving test every 10 years. Far too many people seem to forget all of the theory and pick up enough back habits to make them an actual danger on the road.
In the future this show might not even exist because there will be automated/self-driving cars in the future so humans won't even need to drive in the distant future, lol.
