Thanks for watching! TBH for the car insurance we got a good deal also using our FRSC extract and driving history record + no claims letter from our previous insurer. And for the apartment insurance, we bundled with the cars own so we got a discount. Hope this helps!

Hello thanks a lot for the video. I plan to migrate and land in Edmonton from outside of Canada. Can I live with working 35hr/week, $18 per hour?
I live in Atlantic Canada and electric for winter was shocking just moved from Toronto 300+ ( this was us not monitoring heat just to test with monitoring it under 300, honestly I find it crazy, furthermore summer bill was under 200, crazy man) we have a 3 bedroom duplex 1500 square for $1650 u can find cheaper for like 1300+ but I really enjoy the home, internet is expensive over here absolutely crazy used to pay under 50 for internet back in Toronto now $89 on discount😑, food price increase over here too not much discount stores. I got a car because over here is very car dependent pay $800 on insurance and payments. Plan to pay off next year. Life just getting expensive. There is some cheaper and some more expensive over here all depends. I personally enjoy the slower pace of life and quieter. Wouldn’t move back to Toronto will settle here. Less than one year move and been in Toronto for over 14 years.

Hello, I’m Canadian living in southern Japan for over 12 years now. I’m seriously considering returning to Canada, so I’m interested in how the cost of living has changed while I’ve been away. My hometown was Vancouver, BC; however, I feel I could never afford to live there again since prices have increased so much. Expenses in Calgary where you live are certainly expensive. I’m surprised you even have to pay for parking where you are renting your apartment. I’m curious where you folks are originally from and what you are doing in Calgary for work? The winters are very cold in Calgary. You need a big budget just for winter clothes!

@@TheOTLoveTrain Hello, and thank you for your kind wishes. Since the cost of living has increased so much in Canada 🇨🇦 while I’ve been away, I’m unsure if I can even afford to return. I figure I can now only afford land in the subarctic north. Here in Japan, some food is expensive, but overall I’d say my cost of living is far less. I was able to buy a lovely, traditional Japanese-style timber-frame house on a large piece of land in the countryside for less than 1/10 the cost of a comparable home in Vancouver. The climate here is subtropical and I grow a lot of my own fruit and vegetables on my property. I even have a beautiful mountain view. There is no way I could afford to buy a house like this in Vancouver or even Calgary. I’ll admit, I’ve never heard of Content Creators. I suppose you figure out online marketing/advertising to best promote products and services. Are most of your clients in the Calgary area? Are you Canadian citizens now?
