Leather Pants Sewing Tutorial

Hi guys! Welcome back to my youtube channel. I haven't been making as many videos lately, but will be making more in the upcoming year so be sure to like and subscribe. This tutorial can be used to make any type of pants, but I'm using it to specifically make leather pants. I was originally recreating the Melina Pants from Aritzia, but decided to use a fake crocodile leather instead. I recommend making the pants in a cheaper material such as muslin before you use your actual fabric because my free pattern is primarily based off of my body size. I have included other sizes but I'm still learning how to scale my patterns:

How do I know what size I am in your patterns? Do you have a size reference?

thanks so much for this tutorial!! I'm just wondering if you used a serger/ zigzag stitch at all for raw edges or if you just let them be ?

No problem! I didn’t! This material doesn’t fray much. I still concealed all of the raw edges though with a double fold hem!

Hey, I also tried to download the pattern but it seems like the wrong pattern was uploaded to the folder :) The folder "red leather pants" contains the pattern "linen pants"
