Awe, thank you so much!! Its more to the people involved in this trade and I just want them to become more knowledgable and more valuable. Thank you for your encouragement!!!
Man AC service tech and HVAC school have helped me so much. I got into HVAC in mid 2022 and went from not knowing anything to learning so much with in a relatively short period of time. So much information on UA-cam Craig does a great job at showing how systems and components actually work.
Thanks for this demonstration. You did an awesome job illustrating the txv and the piston. Just seeing the difference in cold and warm effecting flow was great. I was a little suprised at the delay in change when you applied the ice pack. You can see why it is important to let a system stabilize properly when charging a system.
Some people are just able to explain something and pull it off flawlessly...you are one of those people!! Appreciate your informative explanations and visual aides!
your a genius Craig!!!! I love all your tutorials you don't mess around! I have learned so much from you and your books! thank you so much for sharing!!!!! you look great...
This is so awesome! I love seeing visual demos. That’s how I troubleshoot things by trying to visualize how it’s operating when working on a peice of equipment
The fact that Craig continues to make the videos and drop free knowledge like this is mind blowing! I always have my notifications on! Much appreciated keep em coming
This is the best explanation you have ever seen, heard or know if. Thank you. I'm starting out as a diy, considering a trade if needed. Very helpful. To diagnose anything you have to know the basics.
Fantastic visual thank you for putting the work in. I really enjoy seeing things like that, since I started working on chillers, I've really started to appreciate sight glasses alot more as well.
As times are progressing you will see mechanical valves slowly disappearing and EEVs becoming the standard with efficiency, so eventually there will be inverter variable speed technology only available. Even refrigeration will start using this technology as the industry looks for better ways maintaining epa guidelines. Plus the new A2L refrigerants you are going to see more safeties on these systems like solenoids on systems, ventilation and refrigerant detection devices by 2025
Very good rig to help apprentices visualize how stuff works! You should try to mock up a see-thru rig for a reversing valve! As usual, phenomenal video! 💯
Awesome video I just to work at danfoss where txv are assembled The fail point is the diaphragm… after several cycles, also contamination when you change the filter drier
Dedication to his trade is Craig superpower.

Does TXV and bulb work with any refrigerant or does it need to be adjusted or designed for a specific refrigerant?
The bulb has refrigerant that is the same type as in the system but is self contained within the bulb, cap tubing, and head, thanks!
Awesome!👍
