Can I just say that this is very informative and straightforward video. Your not just providing the information, you are also giving your personal option and giving us a rational for why you choose to do things a certain way. I really appreciate it and definitely will follow.
Totally agree with you @marci8850! Thank you so much for you channel @3Days3Noches!!! It is very very useful! We're going to El Cid in a few weeks and I learnt quite a bit watching your videos. Looking around on UA-cam and finding your videos feels a bit like walking in the forrest and finding 100$ on the ground! ;) LOL
I don’t travel very often but when I do I need to know the who, what, when, where and why (very type A lol) I’ve watched several of your videos and you’re so detailed and have so many good tips! Thank you and you’re so appreciated by this anxious traveler!
I just got home from my first trip to Cancun yesterday. I cannot say enough how helpful this video and your other videos were for us as far as helping us plan, not fall into traps, and just know how to navigate this airport and Cancun itself. Especially since we had phone problems and had no data connectivity on arrival. We literally watched this video a few times before we left and it saved us once we got there (because we knew the layout and what to expect). Thank you so much!!
She’s right about the carry on we went Feb 7th, 2023 and waited an hour and a half for our luggage. The best transportation from the airport is to stay at a resort that provides transportation to and from, These are usually shuttles outside, I’ve never had a problem or had to wait. If we have an issue I will definitely look for Nacho.
You will get a better exchange rate at any bank, there are a couple driving down the hotel zone. You need to try to get the highest exchange rate not the lowest. Say at the airport they’re only paying you $16 pesos per dollar, but you can usually get about $20 pesos per dollar at the bank or any convenient store.
@@3Days3Noches the airport is usually 2 pesos less per dollar than a bank or ATM. Just check the exchange rate before arriving to mexico if your staying at a all inclusive there’s usually a ATM in the lobby
Just sign to revolut card while in the US , and you can convert $ to mxn on the go with better rate than any Mexican bank, and then withdraw cash in any atm with a fee about 35mxn
I want to thank you for all the information you put into this video. I just got back from a 5 day trip and your video helped us move swiftly through the airport and to our resort. I scheduled a ride using Happy Shuttle and they were excellent and professional. Keep doing what you do! Thank you.
😫You channel is God sent! My son just told me he’s going to Mexico in two weeks and I am very concerned about him and his girlfriend. I’m a smother mother and a ball of stress naturally so this has me feeling worried. I’m binge watching your videos to help him. I feel like you’re telling the truth its just a vibe I get off your videos. I’m glad you have come and gone to Mexico with very little issues. I can only pray the same for my son🙏🏾. Thanks for sharing🥰
@@3Days3Noches He said I can’t handle too much information because I’ll just obsess google and UA-cam everything wrong about and steal his joy for his trip before he even gets there! GUILTY 🤷🏾♀️ But I’ll ask him to tell me and get back to you in hopes you’ve heard of it and can possibly put my mind at ease!🙃
We were just there in Nov, and Dec right before Christmas. Yes so much smoother inside! And the sharks outside got our friends with the trick! They didn't wait for us. We love our transportation company! We have used ours for years as well! Private and fast! In the fall we booked with our hotel, NEVER AGAIN! Friends paid. But we all paid for the time! Agree with the construction... but we came from playa del carmen both times and both Sunday, and even Christmas eve was not bad. Love your videos! I have been traveling with a carry on only since watching you! So much happier! Thanks again! Be well! Happy Travels!
Thank you so much for this very informative video! Everything you shared about the arriving and departing from the Cancun Airport was spot on. It greatly reduced our anxiety about traveling to Mexico a great deal during this time of uncertainty. Kudos to you! Thanks again!
First of all, I enjoy your videos, they are very informative.. thank you!!!. I was hoping you can provide an advise. I am traveling with my father, my brother and my husband to Cancun in July. It's a very important trip because we live in different countries, and we have not taken a vacation together in more than 27 years! I have done a lot of research about hotels, but still can't decide. I was debating between Excellence Rivera, live aqua and Hyatt zilara, but we are open to suggestions. We value excellent service and good food. Do you have an opinion. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my message. Isuzu
Thank you so much for watching! That’s so exciting!! Honestly I think all of those choices are going to be great. July tends to be a lot of seaweed so if you want to swim in the ocean Hyatt or Live Aqua might be better. I haven’t been to any of them though. We went to excellence Playa Mujeres and really liked the vibe and hear Riviera is great too!! You can join our FB group and ask too!! m.facebook.com/groups/572572378298675/?ref=share&mibextid=SDPelY
Great content! Thank you for the tips. We like to make the most of our short trips (thus the name 'Microtraveler') and this information is super helpful! (Makes me extra thankful we booked to arrive on Sunday!) We were there a few weeks ago for a work trip and the transportation was a nightmare. We'll definitely try to arrange transport with Nacho when we go later this month!
If you use the E-gates, be sure to keep the paper that the E-gate prints out, as you MUST give them this piece of paper when you leave Mexico. (if you go to an agent, they stamp your Passport and you will not have a paper)
Ok I am confused. I see so many posting about the E gates and paperless now. So what exactly is the process? Can you bypass the E gate and go to an agent and just get passport stamped and thats all you need? No FFM form needed? Thank you
@@timmorris8837 it’s an exchange of one of the other. Egate is stampless but u get a receipt slip of proof of entry. You can definitely choose to go to an agent and get a stamp.
I was there January 22, taxi is very expensive, $80-$120. As for traffic, we left an hour early and made it there with time to sit and eat at airport. Remember to look at your ticket. The gates tend to be far apart. My friend and I traveled different states so gate 1-3 were far apart
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically the cheapest and best days to travel. We always do a week Wed-Wed and save a ton of money on flights and stay and it doesn't really make a difference in experience.
@@3Days3Noches My joy! Question - which sunglasses do you recommend? I see that you mentioned getting cheaper nondesigner ones? Which polarized ones do you recommend?
Hi people, if you're able to lift your own bag into the over head bins on the plane, then sure just travel with your carry on. If you're unable to lift your own bag because it's gonna be too heavy....CHECK IT‼️ I've seen too many instances when people can't lift their own bag and expect the flight attendants to lift it. If it's heavy for you It's gonna be heavy for them BE CONSIDERATE ‼️
@Victoria-dh3wl they should check it! When that boarding door is open...flight attendants aren't being paid....which means they're not covered by insurance if they get injured lifting somebody's else bag. Also, you're assuming the flight attendant is able to lift a heavy bag as well. So check your bags if it's gonna be a problem lifting it.
I asked a question on another video and had a reply so fast lol. Instant sub... This video answered several questions as well. Plan to hear from me often before next spring ;)
We arrived in Cancun on Sunday January 22, 2023. The E gates were not working and I have never seen such a crowded immigration/customs area in the 20 or so times I have been to Cancun. It took us over an hour to get through with no semblance of order or assistance from any workers to direct the constantly incoming passengers. A total mess. This was terminal 4.
just found your videos and love them! My wife and I are headed to Secrets Maroma in a few weeks for our 10 year anniversary and your airport videos are a great help. Looking forward to taking advantage of your tips!
I love the bathroom we used when we landed with only 3 toilets and one in an open room, no door or privacy and little kids were running in while I was using it. 🤦♀️
Thank you very much for all the great info, I contacted Nacho and he will be picking us up at the airport and drop us back when we leave. Time and money well spent and not having to share a van with a million folks
Did you have to provide a deposit for the reservation of the van with nacho? What is the safest way to transfer funds if necessary? Not crazy about giving my cc to anyone, thanks
One more question (sorry to bother you) is it safe to drink the water in Cancun or should we purchase bottle water for drinking , washing your teeth ect ?
Travelled to Cancun from the UK in Jan 2023. The airport was a complete nightmare, queues (lines) were really long, baggage reclaim took 2 hours, private transport didn't turn up as we were late. Took Peso cash but everything was in dollars and they charged more in Pesos if you worked out the exchange rate. Everything was so expensive in Mexico and the best day was when we went to Cozumel. In conclusion, we wouldn't rush back to Mexico as it is really wasn't a relaxing place to go.
I've been wondering what happens with the prearranged transportation if you get there later than planned....I don't trust it. I would rather wing it. Can't believe it's so hard to do that.
@anagamin.duhkha it’s not hard but they over charge you unless you take a bus. The prearranged transportation factors all of that in. But do what’s right for you!

Hi! I love your videos - thank you for the information! We’re staying at an all-inclusive. Do you recommend getting pesos for tipping? I remember you mentioning US dollars also work in most places, but I’m not sure if I should still get pesos just in case. We don’t plan on leaving our resort because of safety concerns. It’s our first international trip, so we’re really trying to play it safe.
Dollars is totally fine. It makes it so much easier for you because you don’t have to think about the exchange rates. Thank you so much for watching. Very excited for you!! Where are you staying
We just watched your video on cancun hotel zone. We have been to cancun many many times. We were just there in January 2023. We thought about doing Mandala beach party but we did have concerns about the drinks. We had a bad experience after drinking at Temptations 4 years ago. We are 65 and69 and still want to have fun . Also do you get drink prices before you order? We had drinks at Senior Frogs in Playa. The bar added the gratuity to each and the to the final bill which is a big problem when the tip was almost 40% of the bill.We contested it and they reduced the bill. We are not cheap but we will pay what is fair after all we are on vacation....as long as it stays safe the east coast of Mexico is our favorite vacation. We have been to the west coast......we do not feel safe.
Thank you so much for watching!!! I love that you are still out having a good time! Yes you have to be careful down there with bills!! It happened to us at dinner. We did the all inclusive price for Mandala so the drinks were included. At Abolengo the menu has the prices on it! Great comment thanks!!
Uber is NOT illegal in Mexico. On the contrary, a Federal Judge in Quinta Roo ruled that it is infact Legal. I use Uber and DiDi all the time in Mexico.
Great info, enjoyed the video! FYI for your followers: The type of transportation arranged by Palace Resorts depends on the membership level with Palace and/or how the guests purchase their reservation with Palace. We have a higher level of membership and we get private transportation and don’t have to wait on other guests.
We checked a bag but we collected it relatively easy. We stayed at the Valentine. We booked through Sheryl Bayers. She had our ride waiting for us. My sis in law had a friend that got a taxi at that airport and they drove them around for two hours and they had a 300 dollar bill. So horrible!
Based on your review(s) we have decided to book our hotel transfer with Nacho Tours. He is asking for a $40 USD deposit via PayPal in order to confirm booking. I’m assuming he is ensuring our interests are genuine (?) but I have to ask whether you’ve had to do this? BTW excellent videos with great advice and tips👍
Can confirm that the transportation to resort is included with vacation package. However it took us 3 hours after exiting airport to get here. Currently in Bahia Grand Tulum.
Thank you for sharing this video. I just saw travel warning news online stating that there’s increased violence and killing in Mexico and warned U.S. travelers from going to Cancun. I’m going to Cancun in a few days. Should I be worried about this?! Or cancel my flight? Hope you’ll respond in time. Thank you!
I think they say that all of the time lol!! But you have to do what’s right for you and what you feel good about. I just got back and was walking the streets and with the same travel advisory. But you don’t want to feel scared or stressed on vacation! I have that personality where I don’t pay attention to those things but I’m not saying others should do the same just giving my experience
I just returned from Cancun One week ago. I travel there every year around this time, and I noticed no difference in safety issues, but the taxi issues at the airport were an issue. Last year they charged us $50 to the hotel zone and this year they tried to charge us $130 to the hotel zone. We finally Found a taxi that would take us to our resort in the hotel zone for $90. Our return trip in a taxi from the same resort was only $35. Plan ahead for your transportation to and from the airport to your resort. We had people in our group who had Prearranged their transportation and their round-trip transportation cost was a total of $65.
We’ve also used Happy Shuttle. www.viator.com/tours/Cancun/Private-Transportation-from-Cancun-Airport-to-Cancun-Hotel-Zone/d631-12850P1?pid=P00070138&mcid=42383&medium=link&medium_version=selector
We recently started following and having been watching all your videos and they’ve been so helpful! We booked Nacho for our week in May and traveling with kiddos! Any more info/videos related to fun things for kids, etc would be appreciated! Thank you!
That’s in the hotel zone so closer to the airport! 4 hours seems like a lot. We don’t check in bags though and usually 2.5 is always plenty but I know it depends on the day etc
I was just there few weeks ago & same thing, they were checking everyones bags coming in. It was quick check, not a complete secondary search. So don't go over the permitted amount of cigs, alcohol or cash before declaring.
Great video! I fly to Cancun at least once a year. You are spot on! And good to see the updates. Side note : no way I can fly without a checked bag lol We bring bring too much stuff and buy a lot to bring back with us .
Great video - we will be traveling to Isla Mujeres in early December ‘24 - your video is helpful. How do you suggest getting from the airport to the ferry? What’s the standard on tipping Nacho? Would recommend a day trip to Xcaret (or just stay on Isla Mujeres)? Thanks so much 😊
I would do private airport. 15-20% of the ride cost I would say but of course up to you. If you love adventure maybe Xcaret I’ve never been there. I like drinks and beaches lol. Ty so much for watching my videos
Watching your videos now. I have not been to Cancun since 1996. Boy have things changed. Cannot find anything that I used to see then. I don't like the Idea of using all this E stuff. I am leaving on Monday Feb the 13th for one week. So glad I have been watching and have been for the last 4 hours. Lots of walking. This is going to be fun. And then theres the time share hounds. So thankful for the heads up. Lots to see here. Thanks.
@@3Days3Noches Thanks still watching your videos. So glad I did. Now I know what to expect when I get to the Cancun airport. The time share people have really increased. As long as I can find my rep I'll be alright, I hope.
I just got back from Cancun on Thursday and I got the new digital MMF thing handed to me after I scanned my passport (also new to me) when I arrived. The airport guy handed me the MMF and said not to loose it. The night before I left I pulled it out and tried to follow instructions but ended up in a horrible loop because I had no idea what to do with it nor can I speak or understand Spanish. So I got help from someone from the hotel the following day and I was able to set up the account needed etc. The question I forgot to ask when I arrived at the airport was it even necessary to sign into an account for this FFM because at the airport I was told it wasn't available online in other languages yet to fill out the info online. The printed thing I had said " You MUST download it ( The digital multiple migratory form) and have it ready to leave Mexico and if you do not comply you will not be able to leave Mexico. I wish there was more info on this new thing because it's kind of scary not knowing what to do. For the record, I travelled alone and this my 3rd trip to Cancun. This time was harder I thought! I hope you understand what I am trying to explain here.
So a guy who gets paid to drive people around, suggested to people not to rent a car. Lol. Who woulda thunk? Renting a car definitely is not for everyone, but it's not that big of deal.
I don’t know I really agree with the no rental car idea, I’ve been multiple times and never once had an issue with driving a rental. I also don’t stay directly in Cancun either so maybe that’s the other side of it. We like to explore the whole region and I think not having the car would really limit my family’s ability to go to different areas. I’ve crossed to different states passing through the check points, and never had any problems with having a rental car or being stopped and extorted by the police. The public transportation is great but nothing beats the independence of having your own transportation.
Hello Andrew! Can you tell which car rental did you got and have a good experience. Me and my husband are planning to travel to Cancun, and we don’t want to risk. So if you can please let me know! Thank you! 😊
Uber is not illegal. The problem is that Uber is considered private owned so the drivers are not paying the same taxes that the taxi drivers are. Also, those going to LeBlanc must not have done their transfers properly. They shouldn’t have had to wait that long. We stay at Palace often and always get private transfers (due to being members), but they have a large charter but that comes only to Moon Palace.
Great video, also gave me a great laugh. She says “of course the rental car guy said there are no issues with renting a car, however our driver, that drives us every time we come, said it’s no safe.” Cracked me up because for the same reason that the rental guy will tell you it’s safe (to make money) the driver you always hire, will say it’s not safe.
@@3Days3Noches yes, I know it’s true that cops target rental cars, has happened to me almost every time I have traveled to Latin America. I just thought it was funny the way you insinuated that believing the rental car clerk wasn’t in our best interest, but believing your chauffeur was okay, when they both make money off of their advice to you. I like your videos, thanks for posting them. We’re going to Cancun for the first time in a few months, and your videos are very helpful, and entertaining 😉.
Renting a car is fine in Cancun, I’ve done it multiple times. If you are targeted by a police officer and you didn’t do anything tell them you only have 20$ on you and the bribe comes down really fast. Airports typically don’t have the lowest exchange rates either, they know tourists are desperate so don’t stop at the first place you see when you land.
Yes you’re right about the exchange rate. Was def wrong on that! Duh. I guess people have to do what they are comfortable with. I personally wouldn’t rent a car but happy to hear you had a good experience
AGREE. I RENTED A CAR FOR 2 WEEKS IN CANCUN, AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS. JUST BE CAREFUL AND DEFEND YOUR RIGHTS. RENTING A CAR IS A GOOD EXPERIENCE, AND GIVES YOU FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT WHICH IS IMPORTANT ON A VACATION.
I’m not sure what the big worry is about transportation. There’s plenty of taxis just get the rate before getting in. My stay was 30 minutes away and I was charged $80-110 because of location not distance. As for safety, I felt safe. My spoke Spanish and I did a little but had my Google translator handy plus gos on to see how far my destination was. Oh I enjoyed Coco-Bongo. Taxis are expensive there $65-80. Coco bongo prices ranged from $68-90 per person. There’s package deals also.
Iv driven in greece, Turkey, Cuba, Cape Verde, Malta, Portugal, but never Mexico as we stayed right along the strip the twice we went, so didn't really think we needed to.
I am sure you are a nice person. Having said that, it is alarming how misleading this video is. Getting through the airport is quite fine. The problem is when you leave the airport, the terribly handled construction causes massive delays getting out of the airport. If you are going to the airport you should give yourself at least 4 hours just to get to the airport. Between the protesting taxistas (who are still causing traffic jams and attacking Uber drivers as they protest the newly "ok'd" Uber. While the Uber drivers are in the process of getting their proper permits, the taxistas are causing a ton of problems and the government is doing very little to help), and the construction, don't be surprised if you have to leave your car/bus/taxi and walk to the terminals when you are en route to CUN. I had to do this late December and again in January (leave car and walk to terminal). December was my bad as I only allowed an hour to get to airport (usual is 20 minutes) and it ended up taking 4 hours and me (walking with cane) having to get out of car and walk 1.2 miles to get to terminal 3. In January we gave ourselves 4 hours to get to the airport and it took almost 5 and again I had to get out of car and walk the rest of the way to terminal 3. Aside from the airport nightmares, Cancun is still my favorite place on earth! Just don't believe stuff from people who get paid to review people/places/things. Find a local Cancun group on Facebook and you will get much more honest information.
Thank you so much!! I’m so sorry you found this misleading!! I actually rewatched the video to see where I went wrong!! I definitely don’t get paid by anyone! I did mention all of the construction issues! I’m thinking maybe because we got in and out in a breeze? I think it was the days and times too. Again thank you so much the extra info!! Sorry again!
@@3Days3Noches I found the video accurate and reflective of my experience in CUN on Dec 20 & 24 2022. Customs was an hour long slog and we narrowly missed the bad traffic and the taxi fights. I paid about $30 per margarita at the outdoor bar...what a ripoff!
Hello I don’t think she was misleading, she did mention the construction but just not a lot of details however she did a great job and it’s really up to the traveler to do their own research 😊
You are very wrong about car rentals. I have been going to Cancun for more than 20 years every year! Absolutely never had a problem. Your driver who told you not to rent was obviously biased. I can rent a car for a week for less than $140 all in. Cops will only pull you over for not wearing a seat belt or excessive speeding. Cops are friendly. Get you fact straight and stop commenting on subjects you know little about. You can not gain viewers with misleading facts. 🇨🇦

i find this video very informative. I wanna say thanks for the upload, 3 Days 3 Noches. The comments also help. Very positive and reasonable people on here. Thanks everyone 🙂. All this talks about safety safety safety plus the recent problems with armed cartels in mexico made us change our destination from Cancun to Jamaica for our next vacation. Not to say there're no hustlers everywhere. But there seems to be a lot of points on it in Mexico particularly. I would really like to vacation in Mexico, but it is difficult to assure my wife when she keeps hearing things like this, especially with our 5 year old.
Thanks for watching! I know! As a mom I understand the concerns. But remind her of all the shootings in the US and on the schools! But any time you are traveling anywhere there’s always some type of risk involved!!
We went to Los Cabos Hard Rock Cafe last year and set to have a four day vacation this year in Cancun. Lots of familiar views and similar tips but obviously Cancun has a whole lot more going on in an amplified level.
I've stayed at Hard Rock Riviera Maya as well as Punta Cana and they are both awesome although at Riviera Maya the beach isn't great. Cancun has a better beach but lacks in restaurants and doesn't have the level of spa/gym as the others. But I'm sure you will have a great time. Lots of excursions to do in the area.
Uber is not illegal in MX. You can utilize the app, and DiDi, in other regions. It is only restricted in that region, like others in MX, due to the taxi influence (union).

You will get a better exchange rate at any bank, there are a couple driving down the hotel zone. You need to try to get the highest exchange rate not the lowest.

Awwww I totally get it!! Do you know where he is staying??
@@3Days3Noches He said I can’t handle too much information because I’ll just obsess google and UA-cam everything wrong about and steal his joy for his trip before he even gets there! GUILTY 🤷🏾♀️ But I’ll ask him to tell me and get back to you in hopes you’ve heard of it and can possibly put my mind at ease!🙃
Ha ha omg!! I get it but at the end of the day worrying won’t make it better. Let’s send him good vibes for a great trip!!!
Thank you so much!!! This is great info. I very much appreciate it!!! Thank you!!!
This was the most accurate and informative video you could’ve possibly have
Awwww 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much for this very informative video! Everything you shared about the arriving and departing from the Cancun Airport was spot on. It greatly reduced our anxiety about traveling to Mexico a great deal during this time of uncertainty. Kudos to you! Thanks again!
Awww thank you so much for watching.

Wow thanks a lot for the update! Another great review 😊
Thanks for watching!!!
If you use the E-gates, be sure to keep the paper that the E-gate prints out, as you MUST give them this piece of paper when you leave Mexico. (if you go to an agent, they stamp your Passport and you will not have a paper)
Thank you!!!
The egate slip also asks that u go to the link on it and do the online registration otherwise you may have an issue later.
It seems like more trouble??? Thank you for the info!!

Headed to CUN this month. Thanks so much for the travel update.

We love Mexico but haven’t been since 2016. We just booked an all inclusive for a week, this review was great, thanks for the info. Great channel
Awesome! Where did you book?
I was there January 22, taxi is very expensive, $80-$120. As for traffic, we left an hour early and made it there with time to sit and eat at airport. Remember to look at your ticket. The gates tend to be far apart. My friend and I traveled different states so gate 1-3 were far apart
Thank you!!!
I booked with Nacho because of your recommendation. We will be in Cancun next Thursday. Thank you for the recommendation

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically the cheapest and best days to travel. We always do a week Wed-Wed and save a ton of money on flights and stay and it doesn't really make a difference in experience.

Hi people, if you're able to lift your own bag into the over head bins on the plane, then sure just travel with your carry on. If you're unable to lift your own bag because it's gonna be too heavy....CHECK IT‼️
I've seen too many instances when people can't lift their own bag and expect the flight attendants to lift it.
If it's heavy for you
It's gonna be heavy for them
BE CONSIDERATE ‼️
Great point :)
Not really if the person is elderly very possible she/ he may not be able, but a young strong person could. Just saying!
@Victoria-dh3wl they should check it!
Yayyy!! Thank you so much!!! 🥺. I do live streams as well a few times a month!
Wowww thank you so much for sharing your experience!!! We we were in terminal 3

Which terminal?
I arrived Feb 1 to a complete disaster of a line. Multiple arrivals at the same time. Took approx 1.5 hrs to get through. Didn’t even see E gates

Awwww that’s because you didn’t have the greatest experience but you learn as you go and it gets better!!

I agree ha hs

I just returned from Cancun One week ago. I travel there every year around this time, and I noticed no difference in safety issues, but the taxi issues at the airport were an issue. So a guy who gets paid to drive people around, suggested to people not to rent a car. Lol. Who woulda thunk? Renting a car definitely is not for everyone, but it's not that big of deal.
Yes everyone has to decide for themselves.
Mexico traffic is nothing compared to my country 😂
I bet!!!
Thank you for the update. We were a bit concerned with the Cancun airport and travelling to and from the airport based on the media.
You’re welcome! I think the biggest headache will be the construction
That’s great to hear someone who had a good experience!! Thank you for that perspective:)

Awesome thank you! They are not members which is prob why
@3Days3Noches I've had clients that weren't members stay at Palace properties and they've never had long waits.
Ugh!! Poor things lol!!
Ha ha true but we’ve had friends get stopped on their way into hotel zone and get fined $60 for “speeding”. Which they say they do that a lot
Awesome! Yes you have a point!
Im planning to rent a car. Do the police speaks english or should I make sure to have a translating app on my phone to get out of scamming situation?
I had another comment where they said to print out the copy of the law that states the maximum fine legally
Allowed which is small

Wow!! Lots of places!!! Thank you for watching
Omg!! That’s def one of the busiest times to travel $30?!!! The price increased lol
Hello I don’t think she was misleading, she did mention the construction but just not a lot of details however she did a great job and it’s really up to the traveler to do their own research 😊
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much for this video.
Thank you for watching!!
Thank you!!! You’re absolutely right!! I personally still would never do it. I definitely represent the play it safe traveler lol!! But I follow a few other UA-camrs like Tangerine And William Taudien that have as well! Thanks for more information on that!!
Do you need to speak spanish to deal with the cops?
@@sobcrypto5362 good question. My wife speaks Spanish. The police are quite friendly, especially when you tell them that you like Cancun.
This is a great channel to follow as well - they live in Mexico and give great tips. youtube.com/@qroo
Very straight to the point video, will get Nachos contacts, for us its very important to have a safe and reliable transportation. I wonder if Nacho would drive us from Riviera Maya to PDC🤔
Thank you so much for watching!!!
thank for the tips! I am going to call Nacho when we go this fall =]
Awesome!! Thank you for watching!!!
We travel to Mexico 2 to 3 times a year. Your tips on Cancun airport were helpful for sure. Do you have any reviews for adult only in Playa del Carmen area. Also we are heading to Ocean Maya Royale in March. appreciate any input you may have. Thanks
Hi! Thank you so much. Just the Barcelo Maya Riviera. @coolist did a bunch of reviews of ones in that area!
I just got back from Cancun. E Gates were not working when we arrived into cancun on a Friday. However the line was messy and very long. it took about 2.5 hours just to get thurough immigration. Bags came out no one was there because we were all in immigration. Customs they stopped us pat us down (the dog stopped next to all of us and sniffed us) would not leave us. and searched are bags.
Omg what a mess!! Yes sometimes you just never know. I heard that the egates Down a lot
Thank you so much for the info! My husband and I are planning our 20 year anniversary trip for October. Can you please share an all inclusive adults resort in playa del carmen?
Awww congrats! It really depends on your budget. Mahekal is supposed to be great. Also Barcelo we’ve been to which is around PDC Unico 2087 and Secrets Mozche
Thank you for the great video! Do you know if you have to register for the Tourist card? Planning a trip next month to Cancun. Also, any update on the Visitax? Are you able to pay at the airport without too much hassle?
You do not!! The Visitax I think is still a mess. Supposedly you can pay online or at the airport
Love the video! Thank you for the helpful info! I'm actually meeting a friend of mine at the Cancun airport. Her flight lands about 2 hours after mine. Is there somewhere I can wait for her? Thank you!
I have watched several of your videos lately. I'm doing 7 nights at Barcelo Maya. Thanks for all of your info!! By the way, you are so darn pretty.
So fun!! Hope you love it. Ha ha thank you!!
Thank you so much for this information. You mentioned that you were going to dinner outside or your resort one night, what transportation did you use? Nacho?
Thanks for watching! One place was within walking distance and the other time we actually went with Nacho and his wife and he picked us up!
Thanks for the videos! Headed to Cancun next week for the first time, yay! Testing is no longer required to enter the US right? I checked online but wanted to check with a recent traveler.
Nope no test woo hoo. Thank you for watching!!!
She is correct, no test or proof of vaccine required for entering/exiting either country.
Hello. I’m a new subscriber and appreciate your content. Do you have any videos for solo traveling to Mexico and or videos about hostels in Cancun?
Thank you so much! I actually do not! I don’t travel that way but there’s a ton out there on UA-cam. I follow William Taudien and Tangerine Travels. They might have some!
Thank you for your video when are the summer holidays in Mexico.?
Same as US!
@@3Days3Noches am from the UK sorry
@samdixon8567 oh sorry. June-August
Loved your video of the cancun airport what is the name of the transportation you used we are going in February and going to be staying in isla mujeres so will need transportation for two to the ferry thank you love your videos
Thank you for watching!! Nachotourscancun.com
thanks for such nice videos, i am always watching the videos. i am coming to cancun in june. so needed to ask few things ,plus anything you guys want to tell me would be helpful. i am arriving night time, so my plan is take the ado bus to central cancun, and take r1 bus to hotelera zona. but wanted to know does R1 bus runs at night time, mid night ? also there is a 660 mexican peso fees at immigration, is it during arrival or departure. and obviosuly there is no fmm forms now.
Thank you so much for watching. Unfortunately I’ve never used the ADO! I have never paid feed at immigration but it could depend on how long and where you are coming from. Here’s an article about the ADO. www.offpathtravels.com/ado-bus/
Great information, gracias! Are the Vivid tests required still when coming back to the US?
I’m assuming you mean COVID. They are not!!
@@3Days3Noches yes!! I was using my voice tool haha! Thank you!
@adrianaantillonco 🥳🥳
very informative, thank you. How long did it take to go through customs for you?
Thank you!! It took us minutes!!
i find this video very informative.
I just wanted to say thank you for all your information. It really helped us. We just came back from Excellence Playa Mujeres.
Awww thank you so much! Did you like it?
@3 Days 3 Noches we loved it. The most relaxing vacation we've ever taken. Looking forward to booking the one in Punta Cana 🤞🏽
Awesome!!!
Hotel Xcaret has great transportation to and from the resort.
I can’t wait to try that resort!!
I’m going to hit up Nacho! Thanks!
🌞🌞🌞
Thank you for the informative Video. I booked transportation with ADO bus to Playa del Carmen. Have you used this company before? Thank you
I have never used the bus before! But I watch @williamtaudien who is another travel UA-camr in Mexico and he uses it all of the time
We went to Los Cabos Hard Rock Cafe last year and set to have a four day vacation this year in Cancun. Lots of familiar views and similar tips but obviously Cancun has a whole lot more going on in an amplified level.
Definitely!!! I hope you love it!!
Good to know!! Thank you!
Uber is not illegal in MX. You can utilize the app, and DiDi, in other regions. It is only restricted in that region, like others in MX, due to the taxi influence (union).
