On the red belt, you can see the splice (white tape) is on the inside that wraps around the platter and pulley. Shouldn't the splice face the outside so it has a smoother surface that gives a smoother rotation? Just an observation.
In youtube i have seen lots of excess things from vinyl elitists, this guy has probably spent lots of $$$$$ to listen to music. A decent TT with a decent cartridge plays music as good as this one, and you dont have to worry about all these rubber bands and wooden thingies and blah blah blah. Plus you keep the money to spent on records ;).
What's the point of posting a video of a turntable in operation when the cueing lever is in the UP position for the majority of the time? And for all of those pissing and moaning about the aesthetics...you buy a turntable for how it SOUNDS, not how it LOOKS.
+phantasm1004 Depends if you're single or not... if not, you have to count with one of the most important factors when buying a piece of hardware (especially expensive one) - the Wife factor.
It takes up to much space and looks a bit Heath Robinson. There are better, smaller more practical and nicer to look at turntables around that do the job just as well, if not better😐
I think you could drop an anvil next to this & would put a hole through the floor & the stylus wouldn't skip in the slightest,if it's still called a stylus at this point ? I second the "masterpiece" If it was "playing" War Pigs, would it hamper or diminish the sophistication in any way ? It's not touching the LP cause it's really too nice to actually ever use it.. 1 revolution of 1 groove equates to 1000 dollars.
Oh hell yes! A masterpiece. Is one motor out of phase to cancel vibration from the other motor.
I think a Technics 1200 can do the same on how quiet it is because it's a direct drive therefore no high speed motor that can produce vibrations.
Yes, yes - very nice. But, can something be done about the cheap-looking aesthetics?
Masterpiece!Eminently musical.
Stylus not in the groove .
@@biketech60 It has a Tesla coil/laser pickup.
Wow! It even plays music when the needle is in the air!
is a invisible stylus to reduce the friction.

Hm... what an effective mass of that tonearm? 50g?
is it driven by two motors or the other one is only a fly-wheel?
Please, know which motor is used in the turntable?
I need those bearings.
Big money that rig..
50...100
is the music being read by lidar?
You should put diamonds and gold around .So we can get even more impressed!
Very musical excellent
Stylus does not touch the record in the video . Sound added later .
Un bleavible sir
Simply ridiculous, it has the elegance of a hippo. All this work to find yourself playing vinyl records, offering a dynamic range of about 76 dB.
this is absurd-it is not even pleasing aesthetically.
"less is more......"
toy's for people with too much money or debt

+phantasm1004 This looks like something from a MYST game, especially with the World Music. However, it looks really pretentious in real life.
