I still have a vinyl record from the 80s of this song. But they went by Rhythm Method then, as the announcer calls them here. Great Detroit band. Solidarity is an epic song.
Curious, what makes them sound Canadian? I went to high school with 2 of the 4 extremely talented musicians! ✌️❤️🥰 Still listening in 2024!!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
this band was huge in michigan ...well done
Loved this band since I was a kid growing up in Michigan. I remember when this video came out.
Just seen these guys again a week ago home in Detroit. Still put on a great show and they played this song.
I remember seeing them at The Freestyle lounge at Telegraph & Joy in Redford, MI. They were Rhythm Method then.
Sounds like early U2.
Im old school MTV etc freak and never heard this...thanks!

Yes I have the vinyl as well. The guy at the start is Doug Podell a local Detroit dj from wrif 101 back then.
The announcer? That's "The Mad Doc of Rock" Doug Podell, a great Detroit DJ!!!
@@rossperry7559Definitely Podell--with hair! The Beat would have been 98.7, WLLZ, tho.
🤘🏻🎸🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 love this 🤘🏻 Coming from Kriston Foxx🦋🦋

@@MarilynBelcher-ht1im just the early 80's indie sound. I mean no disrespect, I'm sure they're very talented. Mind you, I just know the two songs,
They sound like Platinum Blonde. Total new wave.@@MarilynBelcher-ht1im
Duran Duran's touch...isn't it?
Thanks for posting.
