Nowadays high school drum lines only have snares, basses and quads, but this drumline includes everyone which is six basses a huge cymbal line and tenor drums. These kids worked incredibly hard to get where they are at, heck of a job by Avon High!
Nor their instruction. I wonder if the median income is really high in Avon. Here in Kentucky many kids are no longer able to afford to be in marching band. Even the larger bands have in general begun to shrink in size. Some bands HAVE increased in size, but all in all the art is declining here :(
@@atlantic_lovemedian household income in Avon is decent for the area, similar to Spencer and Boone Counties in KY. Carmel, IN is about 30 percent higher, similar to Crossgate and Beechwood Village, KY. Of course these pale in comparison to places like Flower Mound, TX or Zionsville, IN. While median income certainly helps, it takes much more to create and maintain the greatest scholastic music programs in the nation.
these kids are awesome. love the writing as well. very musical and not just lots of ink on a page.
my god especially their snares

This is so great.
The colors are great
I think pink and orange are complementary colors
nevermind it's green and pink not orange
For sure the hardest book in their class
honestly just insane.
The cymbals under the quads is so cool!
That was sweet!
arent two of the snares marching CC this summer? that's insane
yep they are
best scholastic group period.
10 mo later and this still sets the standard
Didn’t the center snare do mandarins?
Yeah pretty sure. I think he’s marching crown this year
yeah he marched mardarins 21 and 22 and is at crown this year
Okay I'm not crazy. There's a kid playing snare at the end I didn't see at all throughout the video? How often is that happening throughout the show?!
there were two of our drummers that started on double tenors than later went on to snare around part 3 im pretty sure
3:57 Easily the best snareline in scholastic, twice in a row
Yeah there center marched mandarins last summer
@@LeftCutzHair yeah I know the fella. He’s a cool guy
