Who was the complainant? Who called the police? Who gave the police the apartment number? What crime did he commit? I mean having a gun in his apartment isn't a crime.

@@cynthiagarcia1451 They explained why he came to the door with his firearm. He heard banging on the door and he didn’t see anyone thru the peephole because the officer stood to the side of the peephole. It’s your right as a licensed firearm owner to walk around even inside your home with your firearm. He never raised the gun nor did he had a chance to do so. He clearly saw that it was an officer at his door after he opened it. The officer saw the firearm in his hand at his side and open fire on the guy in less than 2 seconds, shoots him 6 times reported and then yells “drop the gun”. At the end of the day,it was Ms. Nosey fault because there is proof in other videos where she admitted to complaining about other folks in their household supposedly causing a disturbance. That woman has no life and seems to just walk around the place listening to folks behind closed doors and then run call the police when she feels she’s heard something disturbing. She need to get a life and stop being a “Karen”. Go cook a meal,do your laundry, dust your figurines or go for drive and see new things, instead of walking around snooping on the grounds. She caused the young man’s his death most definitely.

@@scorporsupremacy7948 I can see coming to the door with a gun if it was late at night when no one is supposed to be knocking on you’re door, but in broad daylight in the afternoon when anyone could have been knocking? What if it was ups is he going to go get his gun for the ups man? What if it was a girls scout selling cookies and he brought a gun to the door for that. Right before he opened the door he acknowledged it was the police which is why he just casually opened the door. The problem is if he knew it was the police at the door why did he still have his gun in hand?

It's about self defense, not gun ownership. Why are you people so easily manipulated by media?
Just take the cop away from the scenario and put any generic civilian on the other side of the door. The man came to open his door w a firearm in plain view. If you were the one knocking, and you had a gun as well, and saw he opened the door w a gun in hand, would you wait to find out his intent or gain control of the situation for your own safety? Sure you could point and demand he drop his weapon but he would have just as much right to defend himself too, and then you're both likely to get shot unless you shoot first anyway. Only an idiot would stand there w a man holding a gun, and wait to find out if he's nuts or not.

This is what happens when a country has far too many guns, zero gun training on both sides of the equation. Cops are not much better compared to most industrialized countries, here, you just need a high school diploma, police academy, a gun and a badge. A lot of departments hire former military which frankly is not a good policy. I do think that many police departments think of civilians as enemy combatants, especially those who are of color.
