How about an Opel Kadett Coupe/Holden Gemini?

@@nunyabusiness6090 in my last video I showed Opel Kadett/Gemini. The wheelbase is closer to 1.6 inch.
I've mostly modified one already for a slot body. But as it's longer, I've matched it up with the Datsun 510, Escort Mk1 and Mitsubishi Celeste (Matchbox). The Opel Kadett is a good looking casting.

Cool bodies. But i have a question. How does the weight of the diecast body affect the performance of the slot car?

@@marq74 after modifying the diecast, I take a mould of the diecast, and then reproduce multiples in resin.

Cool, they can be used for those who make RC drift cars in 1/64 scale! 😊

Do you sell these bodies? I also play with slot cars and would like some. How about the 88 Honda CRX from Hotwheels?

      @@marq74 they possibly could.

@@marq74 I have both versions of the CRX castings, I prefer the one without the bonnet scoop. I'm confident the one with the scoop is a match for 1.5 wheelbase (Tomy Turbo).
As for selling, I generally make them for racing. There was 2 racing groups I was supplying bodies for, but I think the second group now has their supply sorted with 3D printed bodies.
There's quite a bit of time on them, and I only seem to get 10-20 of any of the bodies completed. I was originally intending to sell them thinking slot HO people in Australia might have appreciated not having to pay US postage for bodies, but there has been low interest, a bit like racing in general (which is a bit sad).
